This past November, Jennifer Jason Leigh and her husband of nearly 10 years, film writer-director Noah Baumbach filed for divorce, leading the actress to seek primary custody of their 10- month-old son Rohmer Emmanuel. But she is also asking for him to be allowed visitation, so hopefully it’s not too ugly of a break up!

Although this may be a rough patch Jennifer, we hope you celebrate your birthday with your son who loves you unconditionally. Focus on being the best mom you can be, but don’t lose your sense of self. While you should definitely bask in the moment of being a new mom, keep you work options open and consider short term projects like when you guest spot on Weeds last year. This is very sad news, and just before Thanksgiving too! Emmy Rossum and her boyfriend of one year, Counting Crows singer Adam Duritz, have decided to call it quits. But they’re not the only couple kicking off the holiday season with a split. We also learned today that Jennifer Jason Leigh filed for divorce from husband Noah Baumbach on Nov. 15 in Los Angeles.

Emmy met Adam in September of last year, shortly after her ex-husband, music executive Justin Siegel, filed for divorce.

Jennifer met Jason in 2001 when she was starring in the Broadway play Proof. They married four years later and have an 8-month-old son named Rohmer Emmanuel.
