It was a controversial season of ‘Survivor,’ so we were lucky to have Jeff Probst kick off the reunion with the hard hitting issues — like Dan being offensive the entire season to women, then bashing the show. The way it was handled was absolutely perfect.

After announcing the season 30 winner on May 20, the cast reunited on stage in LA when Jeff turned the attention on Dan Foley, the contestant who was shown throughout the season insulting many women, including Shirin and Rodney‘s mother. However, Jeff’s big issue was that he was blaming the “editing” — so he showed the raw footage!

But tribal members (aka contestants) aren’t the only ones who need to stay in shape to live through the show’s extreme conditions, and Jeff explained to us exclusively how he, in particular, maintains his fit physique. “The best tip ever given to me was from a guy who used to work with production on Survivor,” Jeff told HollywoodLife.com at The Trevor Project’s Cracked X-Mas Gala Dec. 6 in Los Angeles. “He said it’s easier to stay in shape, than to get in shape … And that is what I think of all the time.”
