It’s the most wonderful time of the year: celebrities read mean tweets! Soaking up the insults this time around? Benedict Cumberbatch and Kristen Bell to name a couple. Watch the hilarity right now!
Believe it or not, there are people out there who don’t find Benedict Cumberbatch attractive– and some of them have no problem saying as much on Twitter. The Doctor Who star dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Sept. 21 to partake in a rousing game of “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” and it got a little, well, gross– and hilarious. His segment very well might make you pee your pants with laughter. So, uh, watch at your own risk!
Jeff Bridges’ raspy voice will relax anyone – even the most crazed football fans. On Jan. 28, the actor debuted his dreamy new album, ‘Sleeping Tapes’, in a Squarespace Super Bowl ad. Click to watch him in this calming commercial!
Namaste NFL. Jeff Bridge‘s zen like spot for Squarespace may seem more apropos for yoga fans than football fans, but the actor/singer can command any commercial. We encourage the losing team to listen to the 69-year-old’s lullabies on his new album, Sleeping Tapes, since it’s very soothing. Hear it here!
Even with rumors flying in Hollywood about of a hot new romance with Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds has a new woman in his life and she comes in the form of a supermodel!
It seems these days you can’t be considered a supermodel unless you can be put in front of a movie camera and do more than just look pretty. Fortunately for Victoria Secret Angel and Sports Illustrated swimsuit supermodel, 33-year-old Marisa Miller, she’s the whole package and just landed her first feature role in the super natural action movie R.I.P.D. starring Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges.

There was nothing to ‘mark zero’ at last night’s annual Lebowski Fest at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. A tradition that started as a bowling party and film screening by two avid fans from Louisville, KY in 2002, Lebowski Fest has grown as an international event. To commemorate the release of the film for its first time on Blu-Ray, fans dressed as The Dude, Walter, Maude, Donnie, Jesus, the cableguy, and even a Creedence mix-tape to come out and witness this monumental reunion! H even told us the advice he gives the young actors he’s worked with, including Elle Fanning and Garrett Hedlund!

Oscar winners faced the press last night after their big moments on the Kodak Theater stage!
The Oscar wins Mar.7 truly reflected the epitome of great acting. Mo’Nique took home an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film Precious based on the novel Push by Sapphire. The award winning actress looked radiant in a royal blue gown and she admits there’s a special reason why she wore it. “It’s the color that Hattie McDaniel wore in 1940 when she accepted her Oscar,” says Mo’Nique. “The reason why I have this gardenia in my hair, it is the flower that Hattie McDaniel wore when she accepted her Oscar … So, for you, Ms. Hattie McDaniel, I feel you all over me, and it’s about time that the world feels you all over them.” Read more
A couple of Academy crowd-favorites won the top acting awards, and The Hurt Locker got the biggest prize of the night!
Sandra Bullock won her first Best Actress award — and even she seemed surprised by the win. Jeff Bridges didn’t seem overly shocked to nab Best Actor, but he still gave a aww-inducing speech celebrating his eminent show-biz family. We particularly liked the dude with the crazy hair who won for Sound Editing and Sound Mixing (Paul Ottosson of The Hurt Locker) and yawn Sandy Powell won for the third time for costume design (The Young Victoria). And you’re probably looking for all the rest of the winners, neatly formatted … CLICK HERE TO SEE AN EASY-TO-READ LIST & Sandra’s Acceptance Speech!
Do you agree with Susan that Sandy’s a lock to win a Best Actress Academy Award?
Sandra Bullock is a lock to win an Oscar for her performance in The Blind Side as far as Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon is concerned, that is.
Susan, TK, gave HollywoodLife.com her Oscar night predictions at the SPiN pre-Oscar ping-pong party at SkyBar in Hollywood March 4. “Let’s see,” she ruminated. “I say Hurt Locker, Sandra Bullock, Christoph Waltz…and Jeff Bridges for Supporting Actor. That’s all.”
The Oscar nominee says he’d be nothing without his wife.
Do YOU want to make it in Hollywood? Veteran actor Jeff Bridges, 60, says there’s only one thing you’re missing: a spouse! “Think about it — all movies, everything, is about love, and having a family,” Jeff tells the March 2010 issue of GQ. “[If you’re married] you have a purpose for making the money and doing the things you do. It gives you a grounding, to go off and do your stuff. The kite has a string. You go way out there, but you’ve got this thing grounding you.” He says his career wouldn’t be what it is had it not been for the support of his own wife, Susan Geston. A very un-Hollywood example of marriage, Jeff and Susan have been together for 33 years, and their love is going strong. “I’m deeply in love with this girl, man,” he says of his wife. “Sue should get a credit on all my movies. I wouldn’t be able to do this [without her].” Aww! Read more
Were you shocked by any SAG Award winners?
We weren’t! Aside from the incredible tribute to Betty White, The 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony played out almost identically to last weekend’s Golden Globes. It was basically round two for repeat winners like Jeff Bridges, Sandra Bullock, Mo’Nique and Drew Barrymore — though at least Drew seemed considerably more flustered with her SAG acceptance speech than she was at the Globes.
