The April 24 episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County started out with a big birthday surprise for Gretchen Rossi! Slade takes her on a romantic trip – to his art gallery (who knew he was such an artiste)! He makes her throw on a smock and try her hand at doodling. It’s not quite the glitzy diamond necklace she wanted. But Gretchen’s totally flattered when he pulls out the big guns: a life-size portrait of his princess!

It’s hard to tell what exactly is going on in this first preview of the next season of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Orange County — but the network seems to be giving us just what we want! Season 6 promises plenty of catfights, screams, complaining and emotional tears. At least we think it’s emotional! The Botox makes it hard to say conclusively.
