I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive about interviewing Vanderpump Rules stars Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval. After all, the last time I saw them — through my TV screen, to be fair — they were ripping off their shirts in the middle of a Las Vegas parking lot, charging head-first at Frank, everyone’s least-favorite bartender at SUR.

But then I remembered I’m not Frank, so we ended up having a great time.

We started with a round of tequila shots — because it’s totally acceptable to get buzzed at work in the early afternoon — then immediately addressed the elephant in the room: Jax was wearing the same sweater he wore the night of the Vegas fight.

“I didn’t realize that until after I put it on,” Jax admitted.

To which Tom added, “He did a really good job of getting that hot sauce out.”

(You know, the hot sauce Stassi dumped on him after he crashed her birthday party — like a boss.)

“I just so happened to have bought this sweater that day, and I was like, ‘Well, I don’t want to get this ruined. I’m about to get into a scuffle, I think.”
