Javier Colon and Dia Frampton, two of America’s favorites from the first season of The Voice, are taking the stage tonight for their first Voice tour performances. The last time we saw Javier, who won the entire competition, he was singing an incredibly touching rendition of “Landslide” with Stevie Nicks herself. We stumbled across a cover Dia has on YouTube of “Landslide”, as well as a video of Javier singing the song sans Stevie. But without factoring in the duet with Ms. Nicks herself we thought we’d ask — who sings it better? Read More!
Dia Frampton recalls when she used to struggle for gas money, and marvels at how far she’s come. Watch her interview and find out what direction she’d like to take with her new album and whether or not she’s spoken to Kanye about her rendition of ‘Heartless’!
Dia Frampton lost The Voice finale lost night by less than two percent to Javier Colon, but she’s won thousands of new fans and has the honor of soaring to the top of the iTunes charts and holding strong at number one. We all know ‘The Voice’ winner Javier can sing, but when it comes down to it, his competitors say he’s all about his kids — and that’s why he deserved to win.
Congrats go out to 34-year -old Javier Colon, the dad of two from Stratford, CT who walked away with the title of The Voice, on last night’s finale of NBC‘s breakout hit. And don’t think there were any hard feelings from the other three finalists, Dia Frampton, Beverly McClellan or Vicci Martinez. All his competitors believed in him , as well as his coach Adam Levine, and were secretly hoping he would walk away the winner! Why? He’s truly a family man.

Tonight’s episode was a little boring but the shining star was Javier Colon!
To be honest, I’m kind of over these battle rounds on The Voice. Although four more contestants were eliminated, it feels like an entire hour of nothing really happening. Nothing, that is, other than the so-gorgeous-I’m-drooling voice of Javier Colon.
