Abigail Breslin Reveals: I Want To Pursue A Music Career!

HollywoodLife.com spoke to the actress at the premiere of her new flick ‘Janie Jones’ and she says singing may be her next big thing!

Abigail Breslin has won over the hearts of many in her roles as the adorable little girl in movies such as Little Miss Sunshine and Signs. But the actress who is used to being in the spotlight told us at the Janie Jones premiere hosted by American Express, that there’s a chance she might make a career switch from the silver screen to the radio waves!

Abigail admits: “I always liked singing and I’d took a few voice lessons for fun before I started filming [Janie Jones] and I heard about the movie so I took a few more. After the movie I loved doing it and it kind of inspired me to start my own band. I’m into the band right now so we’re working on an album.

As for who Abigail may want to work with musically in the future: “So many people I’d love to work with, I love Florence and the Machine and Regina Specktor.”

We’re all for Abigail following her new dream of making music! For now, we can look forward to seeing her new movie Janie Jones which is out in theaters now!

The star has a penchant for Nanette Leopre’s looks, but do you think this choice was a bit too bright or just right?

Abigail Breslin stepped out for the premiere of her latest flick in NYC on Oct. 27, where the star donned a bright neon ensemble from Nanette Leopre‘s Spring 2012 collection. While the bright color is fun for the young actress, was it a bit too bright for the end of October?

On the red carpet the majority of the stars are wearing spring looks, but they usually don’t seem out of place. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for Abigail. I also wasn’t crazy for the proportions on the star — she looked stuffy! Sure, the midi is back in a big way, but I would’ve liked it better if she opted for a frock instad.

Abigail is not a little girl anymore! At the premiere for her new movie Janie Jones, she told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that she’s got Bieber Fever!

Abigail Breslin gushed over her crush Justin Bieber, 17, on the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Janie Jones on April 29. She spilled to us about her run-in with the teen idol!

“He was very nice. It was very brief. He was like ‘Hi nice to meet you I’m Justin’” she says with a laugh. “Like he needs an introduction–really?”

Looks like Selena Gomez, 18, has some fierce competition. Not only is Abigail, 15, growing up to be beautiful and well mannered but have you seen her movie credits? Abigail has garnered quite an impressive list of co-stars from Sarah Jessica Parker in the upcoming New Years Eve, to Cameron Diaz in the 2009 hit My Sister’s Keeper!
