Britney’s the ultimate ‘daddy’s girl,’ and we love her for it!

Britney Spears has totally turned her life around — which she reminded us all when she won the Vanguard Award at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards — and she has daddy to thank for it! “Britney is now crediting [Jamie Spears] for saving her life,” a source close to the Spears family tells RadarOnline.com. “If her father hasn’t stepped in and taken the action that he had, well…”

As you know, Jamie gained conservatorship of his pop-star daughter about three years ago, following several infamous public incidents, and her life has done a total 180 ever since.

Jamie will even be joining Britney for part of her upcoming European tour, along with mom Lynn Spears!

We couldn’t be happier for Britney. We’ve watched her grow up, we’ve seen her highs, and we’ve seen her lows. She looked amazing Aug. 28 at the VMAs, and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for her!

With a hit album and a new lifestyle, Britney Spears, 29, is finally back on track with her career and ready to tie the knot and be a mommy again. But her dad and legal conservator, Jamie Spears, might prevent her dream of having more kids from ever coming true.

Britney desperately wants to marry long-time beau Jason Trawick, 39, and give him the child he deserves, but Jamie, who is legally in charge of both her professional and personal lives, fears a baby could trigger another mental breakdown.

A source close to Jamie tells In Touch that although Brit’s dad realizes she’s “in love with Jason and wants to start a family with him,” he is also trying to be realistic and doesn’t want her spiraling back out of control, like she did in 2007.

“He feels she’s still too unstable to even think of having another baby,” the source adds, saying that Jamie doesn’t want Britney to risk having a repeat episode. Britney was hospitalized in a mental institution in 2008 after she battled postpartum depression after the birth of her second son, Jayden, now 4, whose father is ex-husband and soon-to-be dad of fives, Kevin Federline, 33.

But Britney struggles with the legal conservatorship that her dad has over her and really wants “a big family.” The insider says that on numerous occasions, Britney has told Jason that she wants to have “three more kids,” especially a little girl she can “dress up and do girlie things with.” She loves her boys Sean, 5, and Jayden, but “really wants a daughter.”

It looks like Britney Spears is ready to be a full-time mom again. The 28-year old singer reportedly wants to take over sole custody of her two boys, Sean Preston, 5, and Jayden James, 4, from ex-husband and former back-up dancer Kevin Federline, 32. The exes have joint custody of the kids but they live with their dad. Britney would apparently like to change that and have the boys live with her and boyfriend, and former agent, Jason Trawick.

Britney wants baby no. 3, and she hopes it’s a girl!

“It’s getting harder and harder for her to hand the boys back to Kevin after each visit,” a source close to the pop star told Closer magazine. “Britney dreams of marrying Jason and having the kids live with them — she’d even like to have more children too. She won’t be happy until the boys are with her full-time.”

The problem with this, though, is that Kevin has no intention of giving up custody. While the relationship between the two is amicable (word is that Kevin gets along well with Jason and thinks he’s a good influence on Britney), Britney currently pays Kevin $15,000 per month in child support. She has apparently offered to continue these payments even if she were to get sole custody, but he has refused. “He’s told her she can visit them every day but there’s no way he’s handing them over full time,” the source said. “But he’s told her he fears she’s still too unstable and could go off the rails again.”

Kevin may have a point as TMZ is reporting that Britney is likely to remain under a conservatorship next year. She was placed under the care of her father, Jamie, in January 2008 after suffering a meltdown that led to her being held in a psychiatric ward at an LA hospital.

But in times of trouble, the estranged parents have bonded together to help support their daughters through their difficulties. Now, eight years after their divorce Jamie and Lynn Spears have reconciled and an insider gave Hollywoodlife.com the exclusive details about the Spears family reunion.

“This has been brewing for a few months, between them both they are almost the only people they can really trust,” says an insider close to the family.

According to our source, Lynne Spears fell back in love with her ex-husband when watching him be a great parent to Britney. Lynne, who once accused Jamie Spears of being an “absentee dad,” admired his efforts in reinventing Britney’s career and protecting her from Hollywood’s bad influences.

“She really has seen what he did for Britney and that was the catalyst for reconciliation,” reveals our source.

We are  happy the Spears’ have reunited and still value family ties over their children’s careers. With the split of the Cyrus’ and the nasty feud between the Lohan’s, it is nice to see that there is still hope for happy families to exist in Hollywood!

Britney Spears’ parents, who have been divorced since 2002, appear to be reconciling!

Lynne and Jamie Spears, Britney‘s parents, divorced about eight years ago, but have recently been spotted a couple times out and about together.  Over the summer, the pair was photographed on a beach and on then they were spotted dancing and laughing together at Los Angeles lounge, Boudoir, on Nov. 13.

A source close to the  family tells People, ”They are back together and are doing well and happy. … [They're] not remarried but back together.”

The reconciliaiton was first reported by Gossip Cop.

The star, who’s been filming a guest shot on Glee this week, took her two sons out to lunch at their favorite burger joint.

Either Britney Spears is a big fan of Johnny Rockets burgers, or her two sons, Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3, are. The pop star took a break from shooting her guest spot in an upcoming episode of Glee to spend some quality time with her boys, and took them to the kid-friendly spot legendary for their burgers, hot dogs (complete with mini versions for the little ones), shakes and malteds!

It’s not the first time we’ve seen Brit and her boys getting a burger fix. The last time Britney was photographed with her boys (on June 24), she and her dad, Jamie, took the little ones to the same Calabasas, Calif., spot, where the foursome dined together. Next time, Britney, order a classic root beer float for us!

On the first day in months that Britney was seen without her father, Jamie, or her ex-boyfriend-agent Jason Trawick, she was snapped by paparazzi yesterday in a Calabasas, Calif. parking lot exhibiting some familiar, troubling signs that led to her being placed in a permanent conservatorship and under her father’s care back in October 2008. To wit:

1. Hair extensions aflame like a cabinet factory torched by an arsonist.
2. Panties visible above, below, and outside every other margin of her very short shorts.
3. Batty expressions barked at the paparazzi for snapping pictures
4. Ridiculous fashion: Knee high 99-cent-store gym socks paired with pink running shoes?
5. And last but hardly least: A presumably high-calorie domed Starbucks drink frothy with whip cream and sugar.
