Jamie-Lynn Sigler, 31 and Washington Nationals infielder fiance, Cutter Dykstra, 23 are a expecting a boy. She sported a baby blue Sally Hansen manicure to celebrate the big news at her baby shower. She even had a baseball on her pinky finger!

And maybe their son will follow in his father’s footsteps? After all, even Cutter’s father was a baseball player for the New York Mets.

“She is so excited to be having a baby boy!” an insider told Us Weekly. This will be the happy couple’s first child together.

Jamie-Lynn & Cutter’s Whirlwind Romance

“Jamie couldn’t be happier. Cutter is the perfect guy for her,” another source told Us Weekly about the couple. “Although they have only been together for a year, they both know that this is it for both of them. They are both on cloud nine as are their families and friends.”

Jamie-Lynn and Cutter came out publicly about their relationship in March 2012, and he popped the question of January of the next year. This will be Jamie-Lynn’s second marriage since she was previously married to A.J. DiScala from 2003 to 2005.

The actress plays a mother of two on the television show Guys With Kids, and previously was on the long running show Sopranos.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler will soon be one gal with a kid — she’s pregnant with her first child! The 31-year-old actress, who currently stars on the NBC hit series Guys With Kids, is expecting a baby with her fiance, Major League Baseball Player Cutter Dykstra.

The actress, who rose to fame playing Meadow in the HBO series The Sopranos, broke the good news to the cast and crew of her new TV show in a surprise announcement, Life & Style is reporting.

“The pregnancy was a shock,” a source tells the magazine. “She just told the cast and crew of Guys.”

The couple just announced their engagement on Jan. 28 after dating for a year via Jamie-Lynn’s Instagram account. She shared a pic of her new rock with the caption, ”So this just happened….” Cutter echoed the good news on his Twitter. ”She said yes!!!” he wrote.

She also responded on Twitter, “Thank you so much for all the love everyone. I am so happy and more importantly lucky!” she tweeted.

What started out as an awkward run in between former long time couple Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Jerry Ferrera at the InStyle Golden Globes after party Jan. 16 looked to be turning into a grand reunion — until a fight broke out between the two, which HollywoodLife.com witnessed first hand.

At first things were uncomfortable between the two stars, who broke off their relationship in 2009, as Jerry, 32, kept apologizing to Jamie-Lynn, 30. One of Jamie-Lynn’s friends noticed the confrontation and tried to have Jerry leave, but he stayed put.

However, we thought the conversation had made positive progress when Jerry and Jamie-Lynn started talking civilly and then began walking around the star-studded party arm in arm! “It seemed like they were going to go home together,” another spy confirmed to us.

Sadly, the happy reconciliation only lasted a few minutes and the volatile pair got into yet another bickering match and Jerry stormed off, visibly disappointed.

Jamie didn’t look so happy either, but she was comforted by her girlfriends and later left with them around 12:30 a.m.

“It was was interesting to see exes get back together and then be exes again within a 45 minute period,” the eyewitness said.

Celebrity hairstylist Chris Brescia at Pierre Michel Salon has worked stars like Jamie Lynn Sigler and Shanna Moakler. He tells us the secret to Kelly’s multiple styles, and it’s all about her cut! Kelly sports a choppy shoulder-length cut with shorter layers around the face that reminds Chris of  ”The Rachel” (but we all know how Jen felt about that!).

Mark Sanchez is not having a good 2011. After failing to make the Super Bowl following a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the quarterback is now finding himself in an incredibly awkward position with news that he allegedly romanced a 17-year-old girl.

Deadspin — the site that broke the news of Brett Favre‘s alleged cell-phone photos sent to sideline reporter Jenn Sterger — claims it’s got the story … and the proof. ”So we’ve been working on a story the last couple weeks about Mark Sanchez’s romancing of a 17-year-old girl,” reports Deadspin. “She reached out to us first and agreed to cooperate.” Now she is not so sure it seems — and has hired a lawyer!

The site is still planning to run photos on Feb. 8 that show Mark’s bedroom, taken by the girl. The photos were allegedly taken on the girl’s Blackberry after she spent the night with Mark a few weeks ago. The Jets have yet to issue a statement on the situation.

As for the letter sent to the site, Deadspin responds to the legal complaints by acknowledging that they will not reveal the identity of the girl as she is underage.

The major issue here is age of consent. In New York, where this most likely happened, it is perfectly fine for 24-year-old Mark to have sexual relations, if there were in fact any, with a 17-year-old. In California, it is not.

Mark has been somewhat of a Lothario since he became the Jets quarterback, romancing women including model Hilary Rhoda and Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

The photos will be released Feb. 8 — and there’s clearly much more to come on this story, yet another alleged instance of quarterbacks behaving badly.
