Matthew Broderick and James Wilkie spent their Labor Day enjoying some father-son bonding during a tandem bike ride in New York City’s West Village on Sept. 3.

It must have taken a lot of quality time and patience to get the bicycle right in sync, although we’re not sure who had a tougher time; 50-year-old Matthew, or James Wilkie and his UGG boots.

Either way, it looked like the two were having a blast — or at least trying to.

Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick brought their son James along to the premiere of ‘Tower Heist,’ and he proved himself to be very well behaved!

On Oct. 24, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick attended the premiere for Broderick’s new flick Tower Heist at the Ziegfeld theater in NYC and brought their eight-year-old son James Wilkie Broderick along to enjoy! A witness tells Hollybaby.com exclusively that “Sarah’s son was quite well behaved for being so young.”While letting Matthew shine in the lime light, son James stuck by his mom. “He stood next to her as they waited for Matthew very patiently,” the source says. “He didn’t complain once and was super quiet though he never left Sarah’s side.”

It is clear how much James looks up to his parents — and that James and his mom have a special bond. “He wouldn’t take one step away without looking up at her — and she kept a watchful eye on him,” notes the witness. “He’s definitely a mama’s boy.”

Jame’s good behavior must truly be a reflection of SJP and Matthew’s great parenting skills! They appear to be doing a great job raising him!

After sporting a shaggy ’80s rock band look, James Wilke Broderick chopped off his locks for a more manageable hairdo!

Usually parents take their kids for a haircut before they go back to school, but it seems like Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick couldn’t find time in their busy schedules to make their son James Wilkie a hair appointment! That all changed this week! James, 7, was seen with a new shorter ‘do on his way to school on Monday (Sept. 27)!

Sarah Jessica told Elle magazine last year that James refused to get his hair cut for three years after his barber switched salons. “He’s so vain,” she admitted. “I blame myself.”
