James Van Der Beek plays yet another hunky heartthrob in his latest flick Backwards. James plays Geoff, the head of athletics at his high school, and his ex-flame Abi [Sarah Megan Thomas] comes back into town to coach the girls rowing team. But just as she is getting her love life and professional life back on track, she’s offered an opportunity of a lifetime.

Abi has always wanted to compete in the Olympics but she’s almost 30-years-old. But finally she’s given the chance to compete and now she must decide between love or the game.

This movie has just been released by Phase 4 Films and we can tell you it’s a definite must-see.

James Van Der Beek and his wife, Kimberley Van Der Beek, welcomed a baby son on March 13. Their little boy joins his big sister Olivia, 17 months, in the Van Der Beek household. “Had my first son this morning… well, actually, my wife had him. I just caught him. Wow. Heart expanding way faster than my brain,” James tweeted.

The Dawson’s Creek star was so excited by his latest arrival, he wished to spread the joy to everyone. “If you could bottle up and distribute this feeling, I swear there’d be no more war. #fatherhood,” he tweeted.

No word on the little guy’s name, but may we suggest the always dependable Dawson or fun-loving Pacey?

Dawson’s Creek star James Van Der Beek has revealed that his wife, Kimberly Brook, is pregnant again, according to Radar Online! The couple already have 13-month-old daughter Olivia, who James loves to tweet about.

James tweeted his announcement: “Just when we thought we couldn’t feel any more blessed, it seems the universe has plans to give our daughter a sibling… #humbled.”

James and Kimberly, who wed in summer 2010, are already parents to daughter Olivia, nearly 13 months. After Olivia’s birth he tweeted, “Had the blessing of becoming a father over the weekend…Couldn’t come close to describing this bliss even if I had 140 million characters. I apologize in advance for any obnoxiously precious new-dad tweets that may follow, I’m under her spell…”

We can’t wait to read more “precious new-dad tweets” from James!

They may not be Brangelina, but you can’t deny that having a baby in Hollywood was a great career move for these celebrity C-listers!

We all love ‘em, but in all truth, some of these stars were hanging out behind the scenes while the paparazzi were stalking Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. But suddenly, thanks to those burgeoning bumps and baby carriages, out-of-the-limelight celebs like Selma Blair, Alyssa Milano, Alicia Silverstone, James Van Der Beek, Tia Mowry and Danica McKellar are all thrust back into stardom!

Clueless star Alicia Silverstone, 34, was nowhere to be found before the news of her pregnancy broke. Then the paparazzi were scoping her out outside prenatal yoga classes or on lunch dates with friends. And now that she’s giving birth to her first child with Christopher Jarecki, a baby boy named Bear, we can’t wait to hear all about her life as a new mom!

And the same thing goes for Alyssa Milano, 38, who wasn’t seen much since her days on WB’s hit show Charmed. But now, even she can’t take the pressure of the paparazzi wanting to shoot her blooming belly every five minutes!

In a little note to the paparazzo who follows her to yoga class every day, Alyssa writes: “Unfortunately for you, as a result of your stalking, you will continue to get the same boring shot of me leaving yoga class because other than growing a child and preparing blissfully for his arrival, I don’t have much going on at the moment. But just so you know, I AM going to the Horrible Bosses premiere on the 30th, where I will walk the red carpet. Feel free to show up there.” WOW!

But how could we forget about our favorite Dawson’s Creek star James Van Der Beek, who catapulted into the spotlight after his wife Kimberly Brook gave birth to their daughter Olivia, 9 months. He’s the go to new dad for parenting tips and was even featured in Ke$ha‘s music video for ‘Blow!’

This weekend is extra special for these new members of the Hollywood daddy brigade — they’re all celebrating their first Father’s Day with their brand new babies!

From June to June, there’s been baby news (and new dads) popping up left and right — we can’t even keep track! But we’re sure these first-time celebrators of Father’s Day have no trouble remembering their special baby moments. Check ‘em out!

The most important day on the daddy calender just got even better for Hollywood hunks like Orlando Bloom, Javier Bardem, Nick Cannon and Mario Lopez.

No doubt they’ll be showered with gifts from their wives, significant others, friends and hopefully their new additions! Happy Father’s Day guys!

New dad James wants to schedule a play date with Suri and his 9-month-old daughter Olivia: ‘I think she’d make a good older sister-type!’ Do you agree, HollyMoms?

Former Dawson’s Creek love interests James Van Der Beek and Katie Holmes obviously share a special bond, and Dawson ( I mean, James) hopes their daughters Olivia, 9 months, and Suri, 5, can form a special relationship as well! But is Suri a good role model? VOTE!

James admits that he doesn’t see much of his Creek co-stars anymore, but would be thrilled to get together with their kids!

“I’d love to plan a play date with Suri,” James tells Celebuzz at Pampers “First Father’s Day Cook-Out” to celebrate their year-long Little Miracle Missions campaign. “She is much older than Olivia, so Suri would probably get bored. But I think she’d make a good older sister-type if they hung out.”

We wonder if Michelle Williams‘ daughter Matilda Ledger can join in on the fun too!

James’ wife Kimberly Brook raves about her husband as a father saying, “Those two do everything together. They make pancakes, go shopping… He’s so hands on. No one — not even myself — can put a smile on Olivia’s face like James can.”

Well, maybe Suri can too!

If this picture doesn’t brighten your day, I don’t know what will! James Van Der Beek‘s wife Kimberly Brook tweeted an adorable photo of their 7-month-old red-headed tot Olivia at the Dawson’s Creek star, saying, “you’re not funny…but you have a cute baby.” Yup, you do.

The last time we talked to James, 34, and Kimberly, 28, exclusively, they told us she was scooting herself all around the house. Now, she’s upgraded from ‘commando’ to full-on crawling!

“Commando crawling just got an upgrade to ALL FOURS!!” Kimberly tweeted. “It’s not consistent yet… But we’re working on it! Watch out world, Olivia’s mobile!!”
