SJP tells HollyBaby.com exclusively why she won’t be going with her three kids to get candy this year — and who will be taking them!

Sarah Jessica Parker is one busy lady. While the mother of three — son James, 8, and twin 2-year-old daughters Marion and Tabitha — would love to be spending Halloween with her kids, she tells HollyBaby.com exclusively that she won’t be going trick-or-treating with them this year!

“I won’t be able to this year because I have to work out of the country,” Sarah told us at the New York City Center Reopening in NYC on Oct. 25.

But her hubby Matthew Broderick will be in charge for candy duty that night. “Yes I will [take them]” he said to us.

And the kids have some exciting costume ideas of what they want to be. “Maybe Mini Mouse, maybe a lamb, maybe a flower — a character named Finn…” Sarah gushed.

Sarah herself has dressed up in some interesting costumes herself over the past few years — including a dog! “I played a dog here at this theater for a long run,” Sarah laughed. “I played a dog, that’s a stretch for me. Some would disagree, but go ahead. Have your cracks.”

This little girl was having a bad hair day while out with her actress mommy this weekend in New York. Her daddy is also a star, who is probably best known for playing hooky.

Having them around makes their mom feel, “old and tired,” as she has said before, before adding that, “life is delightful.” Can you guess who this windswept baby is?

Poor Sarah Jessica Parker! All she wanted to do was give her son James Wilke Broderick a proper goodbye as she dropped him off to school, but while she was showering him with a little PDA, he was pointing out where the photographers were watching and then said, “Awwww, Mom!”

The 45-year-old mother of three (James, 7, has two younger sisters, 1-year-old twins Tabitha and Marion) often walks James to school and the two definitely have some adventures along the way.

The Sex and the City star took her 15-month-old twin daughters to the doctor in New York City.

It’s tough to chase around a pair of toddlers, no matter who you are! Sarah Jessica Parker, 45, took her 15-month-old daughters Marion and Tabitha — whom she and hubby Matthew Broderick, 48, had through a surrogate — to the doctor in New York Tuesday morning, but she admits it’s no picnic keeping up appearances when she’s being run ragged by her three kids (she and Matthew also have a 7-year-old son, James). “I feel old and tired!” she said last spring. “I have children I run round after, I try to walk as much as possible, and other than that I buy every cream possible!”

The actress, known for being so glamorous and such a fashionista, is also quick to admit that the nice clothes she wears are mostly loaners. “I love beautiful clothes and am privileged enough to have access to a lot of them, but they’re returned the next day. They’re not mine!”

Heads up, puddles of New York City! Sarah Jessica Parker, 45, and her son, James Broderick, 7 (dad is Sarah Jessica’s husband, Matthew Broderick, 48), are coming through! The actress was taking her son to school on Monday (Sept. 13) when the pair spotted an oversize puddle. What to do when faced with such an obstacle?Why, take a running jump, of course! Sarah Jessica Parker and her son James Wilke, 7, were all smiles as they walked to school in New York City’s West Village today (Sept. 8). Trading in her Manolos for sensible flats, the 45-year-old made it clear that she takes her job as a mom to her son and twin 1-year-old daughters, Loretta and Tabitha, seriously.  

“I make my children’s food myself. We put together their high chairs ourselves; we do a lot ourselves!” she told Vogue. “We do our own grocery shopping, we go to the market ourselves, you know? I do my laundry.”
