The parents of the child were charged yesterday, June 16, after lying about their whereabouts as the boy was attacked by his pet ferret.

Ryan Waldo, 33, and Carrie Waldo, 25, were charged with first-degree child endangerment in Jackson County, Missouri. As they should be!

The ferret attack happened in January 2011 when, according to authorities, the two awoke to screams from their toddler. When they found the bloody baby, Ryan threw the ferret against the dishwasher, killing it.

They called 911 at 2:30 A.M. from inside the home. When emergency personnel arrived at the house, they found the baby with only two thumbs and a pinky finger.

At the hospital, doctors were forced to amputate the fingers, which had been chewed down to the knuckles.

In January, the couple claimed they were asleep when the attack occurred. However, in March, investigators determined that the two were texting each other from various locations!

They lied again to authorities, telling them that the ferret had never bit anyone, however, people came forward to say the couple had contacted them to get rid of the ferret in the past for biting people.

In May, the Missouri State Highway Patrol crime laboratory reported that the ferret’s stomach contents screened positive for human blood.

The boy and his sibling have since been removed from their parents’ care.

Jenelle won’t be going to jail! She plead guilty to paraphernalia possession which means she’s on probation for a year!

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans will plead guilty on April 14 to one charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, while North Carolina dropped the other two pending charges of possession of marijuana and breaking and entering, her attorney Dustin Sullivan tells HollyBaby.com exclusively.

“Jenelle plead guilty one charge of possession of drug paraphernalia pursuant to a deferred prosecution,” says Dustin. This means that she has been placed on probation for a year. The judge also mandated that she will have to complete 24 hours of community service, pay all fines and court fees and stay out of trouble with the law until her next hearing date of April 16, 2012.

If Jenelle does all of this, the drug paraphernalia possession charge will be dismissed in a year on her next hearing date, Dustin explains.

“It’s a beautiful opportunity to do what she needs to do to get the charges dismissed,” says Dustin.

And because this plea is not a conviction — it’s a pending charge — it will not affect the outcome of the charges she faces that stem from her video beat-down of Britany Truett.

Maricopa County, Arizona supervisor Fulton Brock’s wife, Susan Brock, 49, was sentenced to 13 years in jail after pleading guilty to molesting a teenage boy since 2006. The disturbing part is, her now 22-year-old daughter Rachel was having sex with the boy as well and faces trial later this year for under-age sex charges.

Susan, a mother of three, began sleeping with the boy when he was only 13-years-old, hoping to mold him into her “toyboy” lover. Prosecutors say the victim, now 17, is the son of a family friend that Susan picked out to satisfy her sexual desires. Susan even helped the teen have sex with her girlfriend and supplied them with a “sex-kit,” which included condoms. Just sickening.

Susan’s sexual affair was discovered after the teen boy’s girlfriend told his parents.

Susan was charged with 15 counts of sexual abuse, but jailed after pleading guilty to three lesser counts of attempted sexual conduct. The apparent mother-daughter “love triangle” was revealed during her court case.

“I was at the time a typical over-achieving kid,” the 17-year-old victim said in a statement to the court. “Life seemed rather easy and stable. I quickly grew to trust her. I did not know that she was slowly and methodically setting a trap for me. I hope to never see, feel or think of her again. I have been thrown into an inescapable depression.” Devastating.

In a tearful plea for forgiveness, Susan said, “I’ve offended everyone I love, including my family and my friends. I’ve hurt the victim and his family the most. I know that I need to take responsibility for my actions… Only God knows the intent in my heart. From this point forward I intend to do only good… even if it goes into the eternities.”

Her husband Fulton filed for divorce shortly after learning about the affair. Susan is now a registered sex offender for life and will pay the victim’s family $1 million in restitution.

After attempting to kidnap a baby in order to ease the pain of a heartbreaking split, New York model Michelle Marie Gopaul was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison on Friday, April 1, after pleading guilty to child abduction charges.

In the hopes she could keep the relationship with her ex alive, Michelle decided to kidnap a child by posting a phony casting call on Craigslist, pretending to be a talent agent named Dianne Miller. She said she was willing to pay $15,000 for an Indian baby girl who would star in a big Bollywood film.

Four couples responded to her post, including Sejal and Viral Patel who attended the “casting call” with their month-old daughter, Roma on December 30.

Michelle said she had to see how the baby would react without her parents around and took Roma into a different room, only to disappear with their child.

Authorities found and arrested her four hours later in Scarborough, where she was hoping to introduce the baby to ex-boyfriend, who she claimed to be the father. Roma, who was not harmed, was returned to her family.

“More than anything, I wish I could go back and erase it all,” Michelle wrote in a letter to the court. What a shame.

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans‘ son’s father Charles Andrew Lewis spent 17 days behind bars for not paying child support for his son Jace Evans. On Dec. 29, Charles was picked up by the Randolph County, N.C.’s Sheriff’s Department and placed into custody after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Charles has had outstanding warrants for his arrest in Brunswick County, N.C. since Feb. 22, 2010 when he failed to pay $824 to Jenelle for the care of their 1-year-old. On Sept. 29, another order was filed overriding the initial warrant. This time, Charles owed $2,079.67 as of Sept. 27 in overdue child support to Barbara Evans, because Charles and Jenelle had signed over temporary custody of Jace to her on June 10.

HollyBaby.com got our hands on the legal documents and learned that the Sept. 29 order reads: “The defendant has not complied with prior Orders of the Court and is in willful Civil Contempt of this Court [and] that the defendant has no just cause for refusing to pay support or to appear in court as previously ordered. The defendant shall be incarcerated indefinitely or until total arrears are paid in full.”

With the warrant for his arrest still in full force, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department arrested and placed Charles in jail on Dec. 29. On Jan. 4, Charles was moved to the Brunswick County Jail where he remained until Jan. 14, when he paid $1,250.00 to Barbara and Jenelle in order to be released from jail.

Jenelle isn’t even sure who fathered her baby

By Jan. 20, it was noted that Charles didn’t owe Barbara anything in back support. But he still does have to pay for future care of the boy. Since Feb. 1, Charles has been required to make monthly child support payments in the amount of $356 per month.

He tells HollyBaby.com that he has set up “an account for [Jace's] college and an account just for his child support to be taken out every month so I won’t worry about missing a payment [again].” Good idea! It looks like he learned his lesson behind bars.

Lindsay Lohan is once again in hot water with the law! After being accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from Kamofie & Company, a Venice, Calif. jewelry store, TMZ is reporting she will be facing felony grand theft charges as early as Feb. 7. Most likely, this would send her directly to jail, as getting arrested is automatically a violation of probation. But given Lindsay’s history of narrowly avoiding jail time, it seems she may dodge time behind bars.

The woman who stole a newborn from Harlem Hospital in 1987 finally confesses to the crime.

Ann Pettway, 44, admitted her crime to police today (Jan. 24). She confessed to giving Carlina White a new name and raising her as her own in Connecticut. She allegedly kidnapped the then three-week-old child while posing as a nurse at the Harlem Hospital in New York City. The snatcher is due to receive federal kidnapping charges after she turned herself in to the FBI on Sunday (Jan. 23).

Pettway was pregnant in 1987 but lost the baby. She then kidnapped Carlina and renamed her Njedra Nance, raising her in Bridgeport, Ct. She even tried to mock-up a fake birth certificate but could never create a realistic enough looking one.

According to CBS News Legal Analyst Jack Ford, the federal charges can have serious consequences. “In the federal scheme of things, kidnapping is one of the top charges you can get,” Ford said. “It’s a significant crime in the federal scheme of things – a range of 10 years to life in prison.” Considering Carlina’s real mom spent 23 years worrying and wondering about the whereabouts of her baby girl, I think Pettway deserves to spend the rest of her life behind bars. “Pettway is sorry and she knows that she has caused a lot of pain,” according to the criminal complaint that was filed against her earlier today (Jan. 24).

“She’s pretty upset, but she understands what’s going on,” says her public defender, Robert Baum, who just met his client early Monday (Jan. 24) morning. “She became aware of the police chasing after her because of press accounts.”

How did she manage to live with herself for all those years? Luckily this story has a happy ending and Carlina is now bonding with her birth family.

“Everyone follow @Wesupportamber ..” Maci tweeted on Dec. 29. “They are there for full support to my friend first and fellow cast member :)” Amber is facing a court hearing on Jan. 19 where the fate of her 2-year-old daughter Leah will be decided. “Not seeing Leah would be the most horrific thing,” Amber told Life & Style magazine in her first post-jail interview. “It scares me so bad! Not being able to see her every day and hold her, put her to sleep and dress her like my little doll… I would just be so depressed and going crazy.”

Is it okay for Amber to be with Leah?

Although she might realize that her daughter means everything to her, Amber has done some scary stuff that can’t be forgotten that easily. Physically assaulting someone (MTV shot countless scenes where she was shown hitting her baby daddy, Gary Shirley) and neglecting your child is not something that should be taken lightly. “Amber is going to do time,” family attorney Michael Kelly tells Life & Style. “You can quote me on that. And there is no chance of her keeping the child.”

We think Amber needs to work on her personal struggles and her behavior first before she can be the main caregiver for Leah. Do you support Amber?
