Jackie Collins (born Jacqueline Jill Collins on October 4, 1937 in London, United Kingdom) is a best-selling British author. She is best known for being the author of Hollywood Wives, Poor Little Bitch Girl, Drop Dead Beautiful and 29 other novels. All 32 of her books have appeared on The New York Times best sellers list, and she’s sold over 500 million copies of books around the world. Many of her books have become movies or television mini-series. Jackie was appointed to the Office of the Order of the British Empire in 2013 for her services in fiction and charity. Jackie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 but chose to keep her diagnosis mostly private. She passed away on Sept. 19, 2015.

Personal Life:
Jackie married Wallace Austin in 1960 and divorced in 1964. They had one child together, Tracy, born in 1961. She married art gallery and nightclub owner Oscar Lerman in 1965. They had two children together, Tiffany and Rory, born in 1967 and 1969. Oscar passed away from prostate cancer in 1992. Jackie got engaged to Los Angeles businessman Frank Calcagnini, but he died in 1998 from a brain tumor. Jackie passed away on Sept. 19, 2015 after a secret battle with brain cancer. Her older sister is actress Joan Collins. She also has two brothers, Joshua and Bill.
