Isaac Brock (born Isaac Kristofer Brock on July 9, 1975 in Helena, Montana) is an American singer, guitarist, banjoist and songwriter. Isaac lived with his mother and sister in Montana and Oregon in hippie communes and churches before relocating to Issaquah, Washington. He was home schooled for part of his youth. When he was sixteen year old, he moved to Washington D.C. for the summer. He travelled back and forth between the two coasts. Eventually, he relocated to Seattle, meeting Eric Judy and Jeremiah Green. The three would create the band, Modest Mouse, in 1992. Over the following decade, they became an underground sensation. They achieved major mainstream success in 2004, releasing the Platinum-certified album, Good News for People Who Love Bad News. Isaac also has a side project called Ugly Casanova.

Personal Life:
Isaac grew up in a religious household, as his family was part of the Christian religious sect, the Grace Gospel Church. Isaac claims to be “pretty much” an atheist. He has struggled with drug and alcohol abuse in the past, notably getting pulled over for DUI. Since 2010, he has been a relationship with Lisa Molinaro, one-half of the band Talkdemonic. In 2012, she was made a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist of Modest Mouse. In 2016, Isaac caused a five-car pileup in Portland after he fell asleep at the wheel. No one was seriously hurt.
