Both divas stunned in sparkles, but who wore Stella McCartney better?

As we’ve told you many times on HollywoodLife.com, jumpsuits are all the rage this season! On May 2, Iman chose a bold gold Stella McCartney jumpsuit with a plunging neckline when she walked the red carpet at the Met Gala in NYC — but that wasn’t the last time we saw this look! Gwen Stefani wore the same jumpsuit in black at the premiere of The Tree of Life at the Cannes Film Festival.

To be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of this get-up, but if anyone could pull it off, it’s these ladies. I think seeing something like this on a celeb like Kim Kardashian would look totally tacky. That said, Gwen and Iman are two of the most effortlessly chic ladies on the red carpet, but Gwen wore it better in my opinion! The jumpsuit is more subtle and sophisticated in the simple black color.

According to a New York City Health Department survey, the most popular baby names in 2009 were influenced by Hollywood! Last year, more than 1,400 Big Apple babies were named Isabella or Jayden — and it’s a safe bet to say they were influenced by phenomena of Bella Swan and the Twilight saga and the sons of famous celebrity parents Will Smith and Britney Spears!

Some celebrity kids have the weirdest names!

Other names for new babies in the five boroughs are clearly celeb-inspired and include Usher, Rihanna, Peyton and Iman! Parents even paid homage to the New York fashion scene and top designers by choosing names like Armani and Chanel! Whoa, and we thought celebrities were the only ones who gave their kids strange names!

In addition to pop culture icons of Hollywood, parents have opted for traditional names. Biblical figures continue to be an inspiration with popular names such as Joshua and Jeremiah for boys and Esther and Genesis for girls.

Lily Allen will not give her expectant baby boy a silly name!

Nine of the top 10 names for girls were the same as in 2008, including Sophia, Mia and Emily. As for the boys list, Alexander trumped Ryan and made it to the top 10! Hey HollyMoms, would you name your baby after a celebrity baby or a character from a hit book and movie?
