When The Glee Project starts its sophomore season on Oxygen this summer, the new batch of Glee hopefuls will be taking lessons from none other than Lea Michele! “So excited to announce that I’ll be guest mentoring on the season 2 premiere of the Glee Project,” tweeted the multiple award nominee on Jan. 21.

With her appearance, Michele joins the growing ranks of Glee stars offering up advice to the aspiring stars. Last season’s crop of guest mentors includes Glee fan favorites Darren Criss, Idina Menzel, and Kevin McHale.

Of her stint as guest mentor, Michele tweeted: “I[t] was such an amazing experience! All the kids are so talent[ed]! Can’t wait for you guys to see it!”

Does Glee keep getting worse and worse to anyone else this season?

High school was bad, for sure, but no one gets shoved into lockers as regularly as new kid Rory Flanagan (played by The Glee Project winner Damian McGinty).

And really? Quinn (Dianna Agron) is planting hot sauce, books and botox in Shelby’s (Idina Menzel) apartment to get baby Beth taken away? Just, no.

Meanwhile, Santana (Naya Rivera) successfully schemes to get Brittany (Heather Morris) to join the other glee club with Mercedes (Amber Riley). (Long story short, Rory is staying with Brittany, she thinks he’s a leprechaun. Santana uses this to her advantage. Rory also grants Brittany the ultimate dream come true of having a bowl of marshmallow-only Lucky Charms.)

Finn (Cory Monteith) stands up for Rory against the football bullies and gets him to join New Directions — giving the group some desperately needed new blood.

As for the rest of the episode, Burt (Mike O’Malley) decides to run for Congress against she-who-shall-not-be-named. This makes this “I want to destroy the arts in schools” storyline a little bit more bearable.

And Blaine (Darren Criss) provides us with the first iPod worthy song of the season — a cover of Katy Perry‘s “Last Friday Night.”

The show finishes with Puck’s tongue (Mark Salling) in Shelby’s mouth. That won’t turn out well.

The last season of Glee culminated with the birth of a baby girl for the glee club’s two resident heartthrobs — Quinn (Dianna Agron) and Puck (Mark Salling). Sadly, the baby was soon given up to rival glee teacher Shelby (Idina Menzel), mother of fellow glee clubber Rachel (Lea Michele). New pics from the Glee set however show a dashing Puck roaming around with a very young, and very dressed up, baby! Is this his daughter?

Upon closer inspection it appears this tiny tyke is a boy and not baby Beth. That does not however mean it could not be Quinn and Puck’s! With all the twists and turns in this show, Quinn may have given birth to a boy and have never known!

Actor Taye Diggs showed off the new tattoo he got in honor of his son Walker’s first birthday on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Sept. 30.

Taye Diggs has a new tattoo that says WALK, across his forearm. He got it in honor of his son Walker‘s first birthday. And if that indelible token of love isn’t enough for Walker to think his dad resides in the house of cool, Taye admitted to Ellen DeGeneres today that he and his wife, the Broadway star Idina Menzel, rap to their son when he’s on the changing table!

“That’s when he’s on the changing table and he gets a kick out of that unless Idina and are so self-involved that we get caught up in who’s got the harmony and who’s coming in late. And he’s like, ‘I’m covered in feces. Can you just change me?’” Diggs said.

Broadway darling Cheyenne is the newest addition to McKinley High School – but what does his appearance mean for the rest of the cast?

Hey, Gleeks – it’s time to get yourself acquainted with Cheyenne Jackson, because the Broadway star is about to take over for one of the cast members on the second season of  your favorite Fox show, Glee.  So who’s going?

Sorry, BFFs, but Cheyenne is filling in for Idina Menzel as the glee coach of New Directions’ rival, Vocal Adrenaline, reports EW. But don’t worry TOO much – she isn’t going far. Idina DID adopt Quinn’s (Dianna Agron) baby in the season finale, after all, and she still needs to make things right with her daughter, Rachel (Lea Michele).

PS – if you don’t know Cheyenne, get with the program. The 35-year-old openly gay hottie is an award-winning Broadway vet after having starred in Xanadu, All Shook Up and Finian’s Rainbow, released an album in 2009, starred in the film United 93 AND appeared on 30 Rock in 2009.

We FINALLY learn who Rachel’s mother is last night, but what is the deal with Jesse?

Last night’s Glee with very special guest star Neil Patrick Harris playing Mr. Schuster’s (Matthew Morrison) foe, was pretty great, but really, really confusing. What is the deal with Jesse (Jonathan Groff)?! We find out that his Vocal Adrenaline coach Shelby Corcoran (Idina Menzel) is using him to get close to Rachel (Lea Michele) BECAUSE SHE’S HER MOTHER! No real surprise on the mother thing — most everyone thought Idina would be Lea’s mother when she joined the show — but pimping out a student? That’s a bit out there… even for Glee!

The pairing of Lea and Idina did lead to the best song of the evening, “I Dreamed a Dream,” and their version of “Poker Face” on next week’s Lady Gaga episode sounds amazing. But isn’t there a better plot device that could have been used to bring the two together? I mean, I thought I was watching Melrose Place for the better part of the episode. Not to mention the fact that instead of writing a letter, or telling her (I know, I know, she was sworn to secrecy) she made a tape. Really?!

This is far too ridiculous, Glee. Let’s try and get back to the music, where you thrive, and quit it with the over-the-top story lines.

Everything else in the episode was great, though no Brittany made me sad. What did everyone else think about Jesse?!

Get ready for doppelgangers Lea Michele and Idina Menzel to rock your world  during the Lady Gaga episode of Glee, gleeks!

In addition to this cover of “Poker Face”, Lea, 23, will lead the cast in a sing-a-long version of “Bad Romance.”

“I do know that we’re all different Lady Gagas, and at one point I am the Kermit the Frog Lady Gaga,” the brunette beauty spilled to Entertainment Weekly. “I saw a picture of the Kermit the Frog Lady Gaga with a Post-It on it that said ‘Lea.’ I was like, ‘Oh, great. Everyone else has incredible Lady Gaga outfits and I have that one.’”

Yes, friends, I am a total GLEEK (that’s a Glee geek for those of you not up on the terminology). I savor each and every episode, every song, every chance to ogle Cory Monteith that I can get!

Tonight, April 13, my favorite show returns with a vengeance. I’ve seen the episode (called ‘Hello’) and let me tell you, it’s pretty freakin’ fabulous. Why? Here are my reasons!

#1: Jonathan Groff. Lea Michele’s real-life BFF will now play her BF for a second time (they co-starred as young lovers in Broadway’s Spring Awakening). He’s the hotshot of rival glee group Vocal Adrenaline…and he is going to cause PROBLEMS, trust you me!

#2: Idina Menzel. She looks like Lea Michele. She’s got pipes of steel – and she’s going to do some very interesting things to Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison). Hot! Or not?

#3: Naya Rivera. Finally! Mark Salling’s sometimes other-half gets some screen time at last! Where has creator Ryan Murphy been hiding her? She’s a caustic, fiery gem as stupid (and kind of slutty) cheerleader Santana Lopez. All I can see is – watch out Finn!

#4: ‘Gives You Hell.’ Just wait and see how Lea Michele covers the All-American Rejects pop hit. I danced. You might too. Scratch that…you WILL dance. Just try to resist it!

#5. Cory Monteith. ‘Nuff said.
