On Lost, Hurley won the lottery and was cursed for life because of it — call me superstitious, but I wouldn’t choose those numbers even if it DID make me $150 richer!

I can’t believe how many people played Hurley’s lottery numbers from Lost in the Mega Millions lottery this week and won! A whopping 26,000 Lost die-hards picked Hurley’s (un)lucky digits — 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42 — and made $150 each. (The winning numbers were 4, 8, 15, 25, 47 and 42.) Sure, that’s pretty darn exciting…IF you feel like having bad luck for the rest of your life!

Obviously, I know I’m being ridiculous. Surely 26,000 people won’t be cursed because they used arbitrary numbers picked by J.J. Abrams for a plot in a television drama. That said, watching Hugo Reyes struggle for six seasons both on the island and off is enough for me to never risk getting personally involved with those digits.

I think it is also entertaining how Jorge Garcia, the actor who played Hugo, has been getting hounded by media since the big lottery reveal Jan. 4.

“A tabloid news show just showed up at our FRONT DOOR hoping to get an intvw with Jorge about last night’s lotto #s,” his girlfriend said on Twitter. “Is this really our life?”

I bet Jorge’s asking himself that too. Plus, I bet he didn’t dare mess with the lottery…he fears the wrath of the Lost curse.

Word on the street is that Locke and Ben Linus are going to get their own show, but Jorge says he won’t be a part of it!

How’s this for a huge HollyBummer? Jorge Garcia says there are no plans for character, Hurley, to appear in JJ Abrams’ new Lost spin-off!

“I doubt [I'll be playing Hurley ever again],” the 37-year-old actor told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at Axe Music’s “One Night Only” Weezer concert in West Hollywood Sept. 21 adding more hopefully, “But never say never!” When we expressed our sadness at such an upsetting development he said, “I’m sorry! I don’t know. If something happened and they wanted to resurrect me as Hurley, I mean, I would consider it.”

Well, that’s better! Jorge — who’s Lost character is actually the inspiration behind Weezer’s new album –  is very clear on one thing, though — he does love Lost’s executive producer, JJ Abrams, whom is creating the spin-off Leaving Our Shifting Timelines for 2012. “I hope [I get to work with him again," he told us. "He is a brilliant mind and he can work a lot of things at one time, so I am ready for whenever he needs me."

While he's planning his next big move, Jorge is going to kill time by appearing on an episode of Matthew Perry's new sitcom, Mr. Sunshine. He may even appear on Lost alum Daniel Dae Kim's new program, Hawaii 5-0. "I'm kind of trying to work through [what to do with my career] now,” he said. “I mean, a lot of times, actors that are coming up and are in the hustle, you kind of dream of something that’s not even remotely what Lost was, so now it’s like, I need to figure out what my ‘now what’ moment is. Like, OK, I’ve done this, now what do I want? I’m still trying to figure that out.”

A film based on LC’s first novel WAS in the works – and she’s finally sharing details of her sticky sweet situation with HollywoodLife.com!

It’s been nearly a year since Lauren Conrad scored a sweet deal to turn her debut novel, LA Candy, into a movie. But what’s currently happening with LC’s art-imitating-life project? Read on, BFFs!

The 24-year-old former reality starlet dropped a pretty big bombshell, announcing that she’s not even sure the movie will be made! “We haven’t officially decided on doing a movie,” she confided to HollywoodLife.com exclusively at Hurley’s Walk the Walk event at the U.S. Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, Calif. August 6. “It was originally supposed to be a TV series, then we talked about doing a movie, so we are in between. We haven’t decided if we are sure on anything.”

But if the film DOES happen, Lauren does want to be involved in the casting process. “I mean, I call it [being] involved – I don’t call it being a control freak. The books took me a year and a half to write; I have lived the life for six years, so it’s something I am very attached to. I want to make sure it’s done right! It is something I want to be involved in every step of the way,” she told us.

If the flick comes to fruition, one thing you’ll never see is Lauren playing herself (the book recalls her experience filming The Hills as Jane Roberts, a girl who moves to Los Angeles to film a reality show). “[I'd never cast myself] because I’m an awful actress,” she confessed. “I took acting classes for several months a few years ago and I just wasn’t good at it. I don’t enjoy it. I think there are so many people that have worked their whole lives and are so talented that it would be a waste to take that place myself.”
