Being apart from your significant other over the holidays sucks. All those visions of sipping eggnog and cuddling by the fireplace are null and void if you can’t be together. But if loved-up Twilight couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson can survive, so can you — and here’s how!

You absolutely CANNOT sit around moping, wishing you were somewhere else. The holidays are a time to be with your family, so appreciate the time you have with them. DO pull a K-Stew, and, after the family fun is over, head out with friends to keep yourself busy (Kristen hit Los Angeles hot spot Soho House with her On the Road co-star Garrett Hedlund on Christmas night). I’m pretty sure R-Patz was doing something similar 5456 miles away across the pond in London, and willing to bet it involved a pub, guitar-playing and pals.

While you’re trying NOT to miss your respective other too heavily over the holidays, DO let them know you’re thinking about them. Make sure they don’t open their present until Christmas day, as a reminder that you’ll be seeing them soon, and DO get on the phone for a chat. DON’T let that chat turn into an hour plus session — it defeats the purpose of being home for the holidays.

Remember: you WILL be seeing your BF/GF again — and hey, there’s always New Years to look forward to! But in the meantime, love the one you’re with.

This hasn’t been the best year for the Masche family. Raising Sextuplets stars Bryan and Jennifer split after his Sept. 11 arrest for domestic violence and resisting arrest but despite their drama Jennifer had hoped to get the entire family together to pose for a Christmas card. Sounds innocent enough, right? Not so, says Bryan who refused to reunite with his wife because she’s still seeing another man, according to RadarOnline!

That’s right — Jennifer has reportedly rekindled the romance with a guy she dated 15 years ago named Levi McClendon. They reunited in March when Jennifer asked him to help her with a business deal and he’s apparently the reason she decided to officially end her marriage to Bryan. So her suggestion of posing as one big happy family with their 3-year-olds Savannah, Bailey, Grant, Cole, Molli and Blake, came as a surprise to her estranged husband.

“Bryan thought Jennifer’s proposal for them for a Christmas card together was totally insane. He knows full well that she is still seeing Levi,” a source tells RadarOnline. “This whole idea of the Christmas card is just delusional while all the time she is still seeing Levi. Bryan has lost any respect he had for her.”

Sadly, the Masches aren’t the only family affected by this affair. McClendon’s wife, Ashley, has also filed for divorce.

It’s nice to see Suri Cruise acting like a regular kid. Sure the 4-year-old has a wardrobe reportedly worth millions of dollars, which includes multiple pairs of high heels, but that doesn’t mean that some days she doesn’t just want to stay in her pajamas. And doesn’t she look absolutely adorable in her footie pj’s while hanging out with her mom, Katie Holmes, on Monday (December 13) on the set of the new film Jack and Jill?

The little lady must not have wanted to get dressed that day before heading to the festively decorated Grove shopping center in Hollywood where Katie, 31, was hard at work on her new romantic comedy, which co-stars with Adam Sandler. But why is she only in her nightclothes while Katie is bundled up in a bulky winter coat? Suri’s daddy Tom Cruise, 48, has made it known that they let her wear whatever she wants, but during December I think they should insist that she wear a coat, even in LA. What do you think?

HollyMoms, this isn’t the first time that Suri has taken her pajamas public. Just last week we told you all about how she and a bunch of other celebrity tots have a tendency to wear their pj’s out and about. Well, let’s hope Santa’s elves have adapted to the electronics age, because all kids are asking for this holiday season is an iPad. Industry experts say that Apple’s handheld computer gizmo is at the top of just about every tween’s wish list!

“I think the iPad will spark a revolution in children’s culture,” Computerworld columnist Mike Elgan tells USA Today. He considers the iPad to be the children’s toy of the year. “I’m convinced that starting this year, and especially next year, iPad will be the No. 1 more requested holiday and birthday gift by everyone under the age of 18, and especially under the age of 12.” Tom Cruise and Kate Holmes got one for their 4-year-old daughter Suri right after they went on sale this past spring.

Are your kids begging for one, HollyMoms? Personally, I think they’re great for busy adults on the go, but don’t really see why someone who’s still learning to read and write really needs one. Personally, I’ll stick to picture books and board games when it comes to presents for the kids in my life this holiday season. But if I get one for Christmas, I suppose I could share… if they ask really nicely.

The area is also kid-friendly with good friends nearby and plenty of parks. Even his mom, Lynn Harless, is convinced Jessica is his perfect mate. “She’s amazing. She’s so down-to-earth and her family is great,” raves Lynn. Seems the feelings mutual. “I love Lynn. She is the most wonderful woman. I am so in love with her,” gushes Jessica.

Now that Candy and Tori Spelling have finally ended their very public, very nasty feud over the late Aaron Spelling’s fortune, the 64-year-old widow made up for lost time this Christmas by lavishing loads of presents on her grandchildren.

“What [presents] didn’t I get them?!” Candy gushed exclusively to HollywoodLife.com at the BCS National Championship party in Pasadena Jan. 6.

“I mean, [I got] every kind of safe tool kit I could get for my grandson—because he’s very into tools and motorcycles.” (LOL. Liam is two-years-old, by the way.) “And for my granddaughter [one-year-old Stella], I had to go for the doll thing.”

Stella is Candy’s only granddaughter, so the excited grandma did some serious research and picked one of the hottest dolls on the market. “The American Girl dolls have what’s called Bitty Baby,” she explained to us. “She got a baby [$45] and all the accessories. In fact, one of them was out of stock but they just got them in, so when I see them—maybe over the weekend—she gets another gift!”

Liam and Stella weren’t the only spoiled Spelling kids this holiday season. Tori, 36, also got a gift from Santa Candy. What did the actress find in her stocking? The world may never know.

“I got her a present, but our relationship is kind of private,” Candy clarified.

Jim Carey’s main squeeze also stressed the importance of being aware of what you put in your mouth. “No one is perfect, myself included,” Jenny admitted. “But if you’re going to put the extra calories in, you’re going to have to burn the extra calories out.”
