Abby and Brittany may be conjoined twins, stuck together for the rest of their lives, but they don’t let that slow them down. Did you watch the girls start their real world lives last night?

Abby and Brittany Hensel were born conjoined twins, sharing one body with two heads. Now at age 22, the girls prepared to move into the real world on the premiere of TLC’s Abby & Brittany, on Aug. 28.

Surprisingly, the girls live a normal, regular life — hanging out with friends, going to college classes, and shopping for clothes. They just do it together!

Abby and Brittany each have a set of lungs, two separate spinal cords, and two hearts. But despite their physical impairments, they enjoy a tight-knit group of friends and loving family.
