After a four year break, the band is back with a new, self-titled album and their stellar first single “Now.” Paramore’s lead vocalist Hayley Williams, 24, looks so different on the cover. Paramore’s New Album

After a four year break, Paramore is back and better than ever. The band’s new self-titled album is extremely important to them and will hit stores April 9.

“With the most pride and passion we could ever possibly express, we would like to announce that this album will be self-titled. It has been self-titled through nearly the entire process. … The whole making of this album was a rediscovering of ourselves as a band and as friends. It was a process that allowed us the freedom to explore new territory artistically and to liberate ourselves as musicians, singers, as people. Sincerely, we feel that the best way to give it a name is just to call it what it is. This album is us,” the band told MTV.

It was a tweenage dream Dec. 10 as Z100′s annual Jingle Ball concert brought out celebs including Katy Perry, Willow and Jaden Smith, Kim Kardashian, Hayley Williams and recent breakfast buds Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. Justin even got to spend the evening surrounded by two of his biggest fans in Kim and Selena, not a bad situation for a 16-year-old!

Last night’s MTV Europe Music Awards last night showed had some pretty fabulous and fun performances, but in my book there’s no performance more important than walking that red carpet! Let’s take a look at who made the grade – and who needed a little more time in the makeup chair….

Best: Miley Cyrus - The starlet is experimenting with her look and I personally like this version. It’s soft, pretty and – dare I say it? – age-appropriate. Miley looked positively lovely!

Worst: Taylor Momsen - The lost member of The Addams Family was out again in undead eye makeup and stringy hair. I think we can definitely call this a look but I’m not sure I’d call it a “beauty” look.

Best: Shakira – Honestly, who could argue that this is the best look of the entire show? Shakira looked flawless: perfect hair, flawless skin and makeup and a dress to die for. LOVE!

Worst: Ke$ha - What in the world is happening here? The makeup is ok but I can’t get past the fact that her hair looks is just so messy. This is just wrong.

Best: Rihanna – I live for this look on Ri-Ri. Soft, pretty, romantic…isn’t she lovely? Love the updo and I like the fact that her pink makeup that plays off her hair color.

Worst: Hayley Williams from Paramore - As a fan of the band, I get that this is her rocker look and she’s such a pretty girl…what’s up with the Clockwork Orange-inspired eye makeup? I do, however, like the pink hair. It totally works on Hayley.

Best: Katy Perry - Signature pin-up girl makeup? Check. Cute topknot ponytail? Check. Love the hair, love the makeup. This look is a total winner.

Worst: Snooki - OK, so let’s give the girl points for trying: this IS a way better look than she normally wears but it’s still SO HEAVY. Pick a dramatic eye OR a dramatic cheek OR a dramatic lip. Pick your beauty battles, people.
