Move over, Grilled Cheesus! The god of rock might be joining the cast of Glee!

First it was Britney Spears, then it was Grilled Cheesus — and now it might be “The Boss” of rock, Bruce Springsteen, who guest stars on Glee. How cool!

An insider told Showbiz Spy that 61-year-old legendary rocker has been approached to play Finn’s (Cory Monteith) uncle and would sing his biggest hits.

“The idea is he would have duets with Cory Monteith and Lea Michele too,” the insider said. “Bruce is part of American culture — he would be perfect.”

Cast member Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester) confirmed the rumors herself, saying, “I hear rumors that we may do a Bruce Springsteen episode and I think that would be amazing. I’m a big fan.”

Coming off of last week’s Britney Spears episode, the kids of McKinley High find religion this week in some very unexpected places!

After last week’s nonstop song and dance party, set to the beats of Ms. Britney Spears, Glee dials it back Oct. 5 with an episode dealing with an issue the popular series has yet to really address — religion! The episode focuses on Finn (Cory Monteith) who finds himself reexamining his religion, losing his religion, and discovering his religion — in a grilled cheese sandwich!
