“Forgotten” is the first music video from the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 soundtrack, and marks the first time Green Day has contributed to a Twilight soundtrack.

According to MTV News, Green Day was thrilled when asked to be part of the soundtrack.

“When we were asked to be part of the Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 2 soundtrack, we readily agreed because the films are an insane cultural phenomenon,” bassist Mike Dirnt told Yahoo!  “We have always been impressed with the way the ‘Twilight’ soundtracks are so carefully curated.”

The BD2 soundtrack also includes  Passion Pit, Ellie Goulding , Nikki Reed and her husband Paul McDonald St. Vincent, Iko and Christina Perri.

The album will be released will be available three days before the film’s release, on Tuesday, November 13.

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong entered rehab after a startling breakdown at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Sept. 21, during which he bashed Justin Bieber. The band canceled tour dates to support their new album Uno!, and they’ve just announced that they’ll be taking the rest of the year off.

The band announced that they would be canceling the remainder of their 2012 tour dates and postponing appearances scheduled for January and February of 2013. Obviously, the timing for this isn’t ideal, but Billie Joe’s well-being is our main concern,” bassist Mike Dirnt said in a statement. “We are happy to say that Billie Joe is doing well, and we want to thank you all for the outpouring of support and well wishes that we have received, and we can’t wait to see you all again soon.”

Justin Bieber and his team are such good sports! The 18-year-old popstar didn’t even attend the iHeartRadio Music Festival, but he made major headlines when Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong smashed his guitar and began screaming Justin’s name on stage. HollywoodLife.com can tell you exactly what Justin and his team thought of the incident.

“Scooter was standing right off to the side of the stage when Green Day was performing, and he saw the whole thing,” a source tells us. “He didn’t care at all. Justin isn’t upset, no one is mad.”

We told you that Bille had a meltdown when he was being rushed off stage with a “one minute warning,” at the end of their set during the opening night of the festival.

“I’m going to play a f—ing new song,” he said. “F**k this sh*t. Gimme a f**king break. One minute left. One minute f**king left. You’re going to give me one minute. I’m not f**king Justin Bieber, you motherf**kers. You’ve got to be f**king joking. I got one minute. One minute left. Now I got nothing left.”

Green Day has cancelled their upcoming performances, and Billie has since entered rehab.

Billie Joe Armstrong is getting treatment for substance abuse, Green Day announced shockingly, two days after the frontman bashed Justin Bieber at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Sept. 21.

“Green day wants to apologize to those they offended at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas,” the band’s rep tells TMZ. “The band regretfully must postpone some of their upcoming promotional appearances.”

“I’m going to play a f—ing new song,” Billie said upon seeing a one minute warning during the band’s set. “F— this sh–. Gimme a f—ing break. One minute left. One minute f—ing left. You’re going to give me one minute.”

After claiming that Green Day has been around since 1988, Billie continued his tirade, making sure everyone knew he and his band shouldn’t be treated like newbies such as Justin (who wasn’t even at the show).

“I’m not f—ing Justin Bieber, you mother f—ers. You’ve got to be f—ing joking. I got one minute. One minute left. Now I got nothing left.”

Three weeks ago, Billie was rushed to the hospital for unspecified reasons. There’s a chance these instances could all be related.

Punk music’s biggest band Green Day halted touring, canceling their September 2 show in Bologna, Italy, as frontman Billie Joe Armstrong was rushed to a local hospital. Adding to fan’s concern, his Green Day cohorts aren’t exactly specifying what’s wrong with the singer. Billie’s bandmates have addressed anxious fans with a cryptic apology.

“We’re beyond devastated, ” said drummer, Tres Cool, in a statement released on YouTube, “We’re as sad as you guys are.”

Whatever the condition, it certainly sounds serious, however, it’s possible that Billie’s bandmates are voicing extra concern to quell anger of concert fans who are notoriously testy when large shows are canceled so close to set time.

There is also always more grim speculation in incidents when stage performers are rushed to the hospital without full explanation.

Could this be another case of celebrity “exhaustion?”

Whatever the case, fans are hopeful for a quick recovery. Billie Joe is set to debut as a mentor on the upcoming season of NBC’s The Voice.
