Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka have been open about their cool relationship with fellow new dads Elton John and David Furnish. Both sets of parents welcomed their kids via surrogates late last year and have been getting together every few weeks for baby play dates! We have to say though, this one looks DIVINE!

NPH and David, as well as their twins Gideon and Harper, 9 months, joined Elton, his partner David and their son Zachary, 7 months, in St. Tropez today, August 4 — it’s just an hour and a half drive away from the Furnish-John residence in Nice.

The families were on their way out to see, most likely jumping on a lavish yacht and cruising the crystal clear waters of the South of France.

Neil has been open about his twins’ play dates with baby Zachary, hoping their get-togethers will help them as they grow older and realize they have two daddies instead of a mom and a dad.

“There will be play dates, I hope, for some time,” Neil told the ladies of The View in June. “I just worry that Elton and David’s son Zachary will look at our twins and and say: “What is this Baby Gap you’re wearing? It’s not Louis Vuitton.” Haha!

We think it’s wonderful these tiny tots get to be friends — and it looks like the new daddies have a blast at these play dates too!

NPH and his partner David hit the streets with their cute twins on Sunday, June 19, as the family of four went out to dinner to celebrate the dads’ special day!

With 8-month-old babies Harper Grace and Gideon Scott in hand, Neil Patrick Harris, 38, and David Burtka, 36, took in the California sun to celebrate their first Father’s Day. We wonder what those adorable twins got their dads? Dirty diapers, anyone?

Considering Harper and Gideon like to dress up for every occasion, we wonder if they strapped on their best dad’s day looks, so Neil and David could snap some silly pictures of them!

The twins were born to a surrogate mother in October 2010.

The new dad, who just hosted the 65th Tony Awards on Sunday, June 12, has a lot to celebrate this year, including two adorable twins!

Neil Patrick Harris stole everyone’s heart as Doogie Howser on Doogie Howser M.D., but he’s been stealing some new hearts lately — and they belong to two new babies. Neil and husband David Burtka welcomed twins Gideon and Harper via a surrogate in October 2010.

The How I Met Your Mother star showed some hilarious snap shots of his costume clad during an appearance on David Letterman‘s talk show on June 9 — and we can’t get enough of them.

Neil and David, 35 , dress the cute twosome up for every holiday! “We do one a month,” NPH joked. “We’re doing a calendar, so when they’re older, we can humiliate them and embarrass them.”

And the twins are both biological, one is Neil’s and one is David’s — although they don’t know who is whose! “We inserted two eggs; one with my sperm, one with David’s sperm and they both took,” explains Neil. Pretty cool, right?

We hope NPH has a wonderful day…we wonder what Gideon and Harper will wear on this special occasion!

Neil Patrick Harris‘ twins are living up to his Broadway lifestyle (well, the costume part at least!) Check out Gideon and Harper in their holiday-themed outfits!

Yay—we finally get a good look at Neil’s too-cute-for-words twins! The brother and sister duo took their first plane ride!

While daddy Neil Patrick Harris starts his press tour for his new film Beastly, 5-month-old twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace get to go along for the ride! The blue-eyed, chubby-cheeked babies were seen departing LAX airport Sunday, Feb. 27, with Neil, 37, and his partner David Burtka, 35, and my gosh, are they cute! Look at those faces.

“Gearing up to do lotsta of press for @BeastlyMovie this week,” Neil tweets. ”You name it: bench, permanent, full court, im. Get ready.”

Neil also mentioned that he recently splurged on a trendy new baby item. “Just bought a new (and expennsive!) baby monitor system from Summer Infant,” he tweets. “Staring at the many screens makes me feel like a Bond villain…”

Neil, be safe, and make sure that monitor is no where near Gideon and Harper’s cribs!

Neil Patrick Harris and his partner, David Burtka, welcomed their twins Harper and Gideon via surrogate two months ago, but due to Harper’s gastrointestinal problems, the couple have to get breastmilk shipped in specially for their daughter. “We just switched Harper… Our daughter was really fussy, she was just always in a state of anguish, so we switched her formulas a few times,” he explained on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. “And now we’re having to have breastmilk brought in.”

Neil says being a father wasn’t what he expected!

Although Neil joked that he “tried for two months” to pump his own milk, the process of getting this breastmilk has been extremely frustrating. “You have to have breastmilk shipped in,” he explains. “If anyone is pumping, extra milk has to go to San Jose and then get pasteurized and then come back to you. I think it’s a racket!” Neil says that even if his neighbor wanted to donate milk, they would have to send it out first! “If someone’s in Santa Monica, down the street, and wants to provide milk, it has to go on a plane to San Jose,” Neil says about the system, adding, “And they charge a fortune, it costs more for breastmilk than sushi!”

Maybe Neil should have called Jenna Elfman! She donated her frozen breastmilk and saved a baby’s life! Call her up, NPH!
