Jenna Bush Hager is such a proud new mommy, she couldn’t wait to show off photos of her adorable baby girl Margaret Laura “Mila” Hager — so she shared them with her Today show family and the rest of the world on April 15!

Jenna Bush Hager’s Baby Girl Mila: First Pics

The Today show correspondent shared the first photos of her daughter, born on Saturday, April 14 at 8:43 p.m., on her morning show program on April 15, which showed the candid first moments baby Mila entered the world.

Proud grandparents, former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush, were in the hospital room to welcome their first grandchild, and spend the first precious moments with her.

First-time dad Henry Hager also looked radiant in the hospital room, and he and his father-in-law even watched The Masters Tournament with baby Mila — it looks like she’ll be a golf fan when she gets older!

Margaret Laura Hager Named After Grandmothers

Jenna and Henry’s baby girl was named after both of her grandmothers, Laura Bush and Henry’s mom Margaret Hager. The proud dad wrote in an email to Today on April 14:

Both my girls are healthy and well.

Jenna Bush Hager, 31, is going to be a mommy!  The daughter of former President George W. Bush confirmed the good news to People on Dec. 12. Jenna married Henry Hager, 34, in 2008. This is the couple’s first child. Congrats!

“We’re so excited,” Jenna told the magazine. “We can’t wait.”

Jenna has been a correspondent on Today since 2009, covering mostly human interest and feature stories. She recently announced she would be accepting a new position as Editor at Large at Southern Living magazine.

Jenna recently interviewed her grandmother, Barbara Bush, about her young daughter, 3, who died of Leukemia.

And on a much more happy note, she interviewed the hottest boy band in the world right now, One Direction!

Henry works at investment firm KKR. The couple met while campaigning for President Bush in 2004. They got married in May 2008 at the Bush family’s Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas.

Daily Mail says her growing bump was visible on the Dec. 11 episode of Today.

Jenna spoke to PEOPLE in June 2011, saying, “I don’t have any children. I just have a cat, to my parents’ dismay. My dad saw my husband’s boss at a conference, and he said to stop paying my husband until we produce children.”

On quality couple time, she added, “We just try to spend as much time together as possible when we’re both home, even little things. We had a UNICEF event this week, but before we went, we went for a walk up the West Side Highway just to catch up. I think the little moments are what’s most important.”

Now they can share those little moments with a baby! So sweet!

Though former President of the United States George H.W. Bush has been in a Houston, Texas, hospital for a week, officials are just now releasing details of his condition. Though not considered life threatening, the 88 year old has bronchitis and a lingering cough.

“President Bush is in the hospital,” the former president’s chief of staff, Jean Becker, tells the Houston Chronicle. “We have kept this quiet out of respect for him.”

She adds that Bush has been in and out of the hospital for several weeks, most recently checking in Nov. 23. George W. Bush and his wife Laura Bush have both paid him visits.

Game of Thrones is a bloody, ruthless show, dispatching of characters left and right. But what on earth is former President George W. Bush’s head doing on a stick in one scene?

While recording the commentary for the DVD release of season one, the show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss admitted that the face appears in the scene where young Sansa is shown her father’s decapitated head on a stick, amongst a row of others.

“It’s not a choice, not a political statement!” one of the writers says during the commentary. “We just had to use what heads we had around.”

The creators released a statement once news of this broke, explaining further: “We use a lot of prosthetic body parts on the show: heads, arms, etc. We can’t afford to have these all made from scratch…so we rent them in bulk. After the scene was already shot, someone pointed out that one of the heads looked like George W. Bush. In the DVD commentary, we mentioned this, though we should not have. We meant no disrespect to the former President and apologize if anything we said or did suggested otherwise.”

HBO also released an apologetic statement, saying that they found it to be in very poor taste and would have the likeness removed from any future DVD production.

The reality TV star has words of wisdom for Barack, but her tweet reeks of delusion!

This afternoon, President Obama‘s administration made the wise decision not to release the death photos of Osama bin Laden. Barack gave several clear and concise reasons to refrain from releasing it, including the idea that “Osama bin Laden is not a trophy. He is dead, and let’s now focus on continuing the fight until Al Qaida has been eliminated.”

But Sarah Palin is using Barack’s temperance as an opportunity to call him a coward.

Although releasing the death photograph would exponentially fuel the fires of extremists looking for ANY reason to pull the trigger on America, Sarah is using this decision as a chance to tweet rhetoric: “Show photo as warning to others seeking America’s destruction. No pussy-footing around, no politicking, no drama;it’s part of the mission.”

Besides the obvious irony of accusing a president who orders a brilliantly tactical military strike which kills an enemy the United States has pursued for nearly a decade of “pussy-footing,” Sarah is just using this issue as a convenient platform to take any credit away from Barack. Don’t believe me?

Let’s think of the reaction Sarah would have if he DID release the photos.

First, Sarah would say they were Photoshopped — guaranteed. Barack even addressed this when he said “Conspiracy theorists around the world will just claim the photos are doctored anyway.” Furthermore, if Obama’s prophecy of “releasing the photos will only serve to inflame public opinion in the Middle East” came true, Sarah would be the first to call for his head should violence arise. It would become an issue of “Barack trying to prove himself and get reelected by putting the lives of troops at risk,” and the situation would spin out of control.

All said, the decision to release these photos was lose-lose for Barack, and kudos that he erred on the side of caution. She may be used to shooting animals, but Sarah seems to conveniently underestimate the scope of Barack’s mission. To use the term “pussy-footing” in reference to Obama in any way isn’t disrespectful — it’s head-scratchingly inaccurate.

George W. Bush may have flown the “Mission Accomplished” banner, but Barack is the only one who actually accomplished a mission. It must be terrifying for Sarah to think a liberal achieved a military victory. And now she’s just flailing.

Disagree with Obama’s politics, but don’t disagree with facts by pulling the conspiracy card, Sarah — it’s just lazy.

Now this is impressive. Two-year-old Charlotte knows every U.S. president’s name and can even recite some of their famous sayings! How, you ask? Her parents bought her a presidential placemat and she obviously studies during meal time! Charlotte is sure to ace American history class before she hits preschool.

Not only does she refer to the presidents using their nicknames — like “LBJ,” “Ike” and “Teddy” — but Charlotte points to their exact placement on her mat. “Can you show me where Richard Nixon is?” her dad asks. She finds Nixon rather quickly, of course. “And what does he say?” Charlotte replies with an enthusiastic, “I’m not a crook!” Amazing, right?

Malia and Sasha would be impressed!

But Charlotte’s impression of Ronald Reagan is our favorite! After she thinks a second about what Ronald says, the tiny tot yells, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” Sadly though, one thing Charlotte doesn’t seem to remember is which pair of Presidents are father and son. “I don’t know, I don’t remember them,” she tells her dad. “How about George…” her dad says. “Who’s George?”

After watching George W.’s hour long, carefree interview with Facebook creator, Mark Zuckerberg, do you like him more or less than before?

George W. Bush made history by being the first U.S. president to ever participate in a live streaming interview via Facebook Nov. 29 — and he somehow managed to make the hour long conversation entertaining, enlightening and down right funny.

The 64-year-old Texan and author of Decision Points wasted no breath trying to sugar coat what he was doing on Facebook Live, admitting to Mark Zuckerberg, “Because you’ve got a lot of people paying attention to us, and I’m trying to sell books.”

He explained, “I’ve written this book because I recognize there’s no such thing as accurate short-term history. I want to give future historians a perspective: mine. [...] I’ve also written it for people who wonder what it’s like to be president.”

Throughout the interview, George W. poked fun at Mark, even joking about the fact he never graduated from college. However, the talk wasn’t all fun and games — the former president applauded President Obama for his efforts now, saying he wouldn’t critique any of his successors because the job is such a tough one. He also gave heart-felt fathering advice.

“If you are fortunate enough to be a father, my advice is love your child with all your heart and soul,” he said.

The chat ended on a light note. “If you see me in an airport, I hope you wave with all five fingers, but if you don’t you won’t be the first,” Bush said. “I’m a comfortable guy.”
