Game of Crowns
On the July 28 episode of ‘Game Of Crowns,’ the wives compete for charity in the Ms. New England State Pageant. Will competing for a good cause influence Vanassa, a breast cancer survivor, to compete again after being diagnosed?
Charity pageants differ from typical pageants, according to Susanna, who said: “Charity pageants can be taken less seriously because they are more about the charity and less about the competition.” To prepare for the big philanthropic day, Lori-ann saged her house, Leha got her hair done, Lynne got her hair dyed blue, and Susanna created a giant five foot tall box to collect her charity money. But what about Shelley and Vanassa, why don’t these pageant wives want to compete? Keep reading for our full recap to find out what happens at the Ms. New England State Pageant.
Our favorite pageant wives show off their maternal sides on the July 27 episode. What do these crown-wearing moms do for fun with their daughters? Have tea parties, obviously! But it’s not all roses and crumpets when Leha and Lynne eventually part ways.
Like mother, like daughter, or as Lynne put it, “Apple trees don’t grow pears.” On July 27, the mothers take a break from competing for the crown, but not from the drama, when they spend some mother-daughter bonding time. Plus, Leha shows her maternal side while trying to get to the bottom of the alleged death threat rumors surrounding her husband and father of her children, Nick. We thought the premiere episode of ‘Game of Crowns’ was intense, but it was mild in comparison to the July 20 episode. Last week was World War I, when two wives showed up at the airport in matching jumpsuits. Now, at the Mrs. America Pageant, Leha’s husband Nick is starting World War II — by making threats against the other wives!
Lynne, Susanna, Vanassa, and Shelley are in Tucson, Ariz. to support Leha and Lori-Ann as they compete at the Mrs. America pageant. Vanassa and Susanna decide to put the matching jumpsuit fiasco behind them — they “got on the the plane as friends” and they “want to leave as friends.” The constant competition can make women crazy, but at least they have their husbands and family to keep them grounded, right? Wrong. Leha’s “over-protective” husband Nick is responsible for this week’s drama! Keep reading for our full recap.
