The Sept. 30 season premiere started off in true Revenge fashion: with a flash forward! “The Amanda” was seen sinking to the bottom of the ocean due to a fire or an explosion — in other words, it was no accident. But Jack’s (Nick Wechsler) beloved boat wasn’t the only thing discovered underwater. An unidentified body was also found nearby!

During a training-session-gone-wrong in Japan, Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) was engulfed by ocean waves while tied to a wooden post. (Yes, everyone can now take a breather after watching this scene in the promos. It was just a test!) As she began to lose consciousness, another one of Takeda’s trainees swam to her rescue — but as it turned out, Emily had been unlocking memories of her mother (who is alive!) and she wasn’t very grateful that he saved her.

Back in the Hamptons, not many people other than Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) — who has allegedly been sober for months after an overdose — seemed concerned that Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) died in a plane explosion. Conrad (Henry Czerny) should have been trying harder to cover his tracks, but unsurprisingly, his only concern was money. While others were celebrating Victoria’s memory with an art auction, Conrad was busy plotting to take control of Daniel (Josh Bowman) and Charlotte’s inheritances.

And speaking of Daniel, he spent most of the premiere drinking his memories of his mother — and Emily — away. He seems to have gotten over Emily pretty quickly, though, because he’s now dating Ashley (Ashley Madekwe)! Meanwhile, Jack was seen sporting the long-haired scruffy look, while Amanda seems to have gotten even bigger — if that’s possible — as the birth of her baby draws near. Despite his initial excitement, Jack started to question his love for Amanda… and if the baby was even his.

After recalling key memories of her mother, Emily discovered that a hospital where her mother once resided had been shut down around the same time that father, David Clarke (James Tupper), was arrested. With the help of her sidekick, Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann), Emily found that Victoria actually visited her mother the week David was arrested! Did Victoria have Emily’s mother locked away so she could be with David?

In typical Conrad form, he hired Charlotte’s drug counselor specifically to keep his daughter under lock and key — and as far away from her inheritance as possible. But before she was taken away for failing a drug test, which was set up by her father, Charlotte revealed the biggest secret of all to Emily: Victoria is alive and being protected by the government until a case can be built against Conrad!

Emily took matters into her own hands, hiding a camera in Victoria’s home, only to discover that she and the white-haired man had been working together all along! These two were responsible for what happened to both of Emily’s parents, and now… they’re coming for Emily!

Daniel Grayson’s (Joshua Bowman) innocence remained in question on the May 2 episode of Revenge – even though someone else admitted to murdering Tyler. While Daniel remained in prison, Charlotte (Christa B. Allen), did a little family research, leading Emily (Emily VanCamp) to a missing journal from the infinity box. And shockingly, Nolan (Gabriel Mann) had been hiding it from her all along! (Now Nolan, you know not to keep secrets from Emily. You’ll eventually regret it.)

Within the journal, David Clarke was revealed to appear paranoid and terrified; he didn’t want his daughter to remember him in that state. Emily stumbled upon the initials CM (or Carole Miller) written by her father, but after cross-referencing records at the hospital, a Carole Miller didn’t exist. A Carole Thomas who matched the description, however, was alive and well, and the woman turned out to have been Conrad’s personal assistant for years.

Naturally, Emily went undercover to get information about Conrad (Henry Czerny) and her father from this woman, who certainly didn’t mind whipping out her shotgun and pointing it at Emily. And as if enough mouths hadn’t dropped already, they certainly did after viewers found out C.M. was Nolan’s aunt! She’d been on David’s side the whole time, investigating Grayson Global from the inside, but Carole didn’t get the chance to help Emily’s dad before he was killed.

All of Daniel’s charges were dropped, and the people of the Hamptons were not happy about it. While her son was being released from jail, Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) was busy exchanging information about flight 197 with Mr. McGowen from the Securities and Exchange Commission. Her information, in exchange for immunity, led him to Grayson Global, and eventually Conrad may be exposed as the mastermind behind the terrorist attack. (My word, the women of the Hamptons are absolute geniuses!)

You know that things are about to get serious in this show when people stare at themselves in the mirror and the violins sound in the background. As Daniel prepared for his interview, he went back and forth between his parents to try to get the truth. Eventually, even though Conrad admitted the whole truth to him, Daniel sided with his father, telling the world in an interview that Conrad was innocent. Ashley (Ashley Madekwe) was fired when she was exposed for leaking pictures of Daniel, but Conrad being the sneaky rich man that he is offered her a Lexus — and a position at Grayson Global. (I seriously liked Ashley… before she slid into that Lexus.)

During a rare mother-daughter bonding moment, Victoria and Charlotte visited David’s grave and found the rose Emily left at the beginning of the episode, leading them to suspect someone had been to the grave site. When asked about her future plans, Emily declared she was going to marry Daniel and kill the man who murdered her father.

The season finale is fast approaching, and I get chills every time I see a new preview. Emily will stop at nothing to avenge her father’s death, and I cannot wait to see more people suffer for what happened to David.

Amanda Clarke (Margarita Levieva) was nowhere to be found when Revenge returned from hiatus this week, and the Graysons were still in a frenzy to identify the hooded figure on the beach the night of Tyler’s murder. Eager to pin his murder on someone other than their son Daniel (Josh Bowman), they put together a potential sketch — and the suspect shockingly resembled Jack (Nick Wechsler)! Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) revealed she was willing to frame Jack, or anyone really, in order to have her son acquitted.

Because everyone is really pointing fingers at Amanda for Tyler’s murder, Nolan (Gabriel Mann) convinced Mason Treadwell (Roger Bart) to report on Daniel’s case, since it would be a great conclusion to his previous story about “her” father. But keep in mind, he’s just another piece in Emily’s (Emily VanCamp) “revengenda.”

Back at the correctional facility, Daniel was attacked, receiving a concussion and cracked ribs. Since the conditions were “life-threatening,” he was allowed to return to his comfy home in the Hamptons under house arrest. As Daniel’s case became deeper and more complicated, Nolan tried his best to convince Jack to investigate the bank statement found in Amanda’s jacket. That meant he’d be out of town — and more importantly, away from the Graysons.

While Victoria — aka “Vicky Harper” — encountered an old flame from the past, Emily anonymously contacted Mason, informing him that Victoria was to blame for the tapes that went missing during the fire that burned down his home. In order to help his brother, Declan (Connor Paolo) recanted his statement about the figure on the beach, admitting that Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) fabricated the entire story as a result of being under the influence of alcohol and drugs. With this information, the entire credibility of the Grayson family — as well as Daniel’s defense — was basically ruined. However, this was Mason’s plan all along after he found his interview tapes in Victoria’s house.

Finally, it’s safe to say that Emily looks fantastic as a brunette! She dressed up in one of her many disguises to get information from the man Victoria hires to set up the attack on Daniel so he could leave the correctional facility. Back at the manor, Victoria put a little doubt in Daniel’s mind that Emily had motive to murder Tyler; he did hold her at gunpoint, after all, and the bullets in the murder case did come from her gun. However, Daniel threatened to confess to everything if his mother even thought about trying to blaming his fiancée.

That little bit of doubt may be enough to get Daniel acquitted, but is it enough for him to actually suspect the woman he loves? Drop a comment below with your thoughts on this week’s Revenge, and what you think will happen as we get closer to the season finale!

Do you hear that? It’s the sound of loyalties dying in the Hamptons, which is pretty much what the Dec. 7 episode of Revenge was all about. By the end of the hour, no alliance — or sex tape — was safe, and Emily’s (Emily VanCamp) big secret began to unravel before her very eyes.

I’ll begin by saying this: We all hate Tyler (Ashton Holmes). And by “we,” I literally mean all of us — the characters on the show, the viewers at home, our pets. All of us. The guy’s just a dirty little weasel. So I was thrilled when his and Nolan’s (Gabriel Mann) sex tape — which I’m still waiting for a copy of, by the way — was exposed as the means to which he got Nolan to invest with Conrad (Henry Czerny).

Surely this would get him fired, and therefore banished from the Hamptons for good, right? Well, not quite, unfortunately. Just as quickly as Conrad terminated his position at the company, Tyler came back at him with a little shocker of his own: He knows everything! Like, literally everything.

Speaking of knowing things, Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) did a little eavesdropping on a conversation between Emily and Daniel (Joshua Bowman), and now she knows that Amanda Clarke (Margarita Levieva) is back in the Hamptons. It’s rare to see Victoria looking anything less than in-control — especially when she’s sipping her tea… like a bitch — but when she found out Amanda was back, she seemed absolutely petrified.

But for me, the saddest twist of all — besides Tyler tossing the sex tape into Nolan’s pool — was the dissolution of Nolan and Emily’s weird little friendship. They’ve been partners in crime (slash Ralph Lauren-clad besties) all season, and now that they’re at odds, I’m pretty uncomfortable. Almost as uncomfortable as I get when I think about Tyler’s non-eyebrows.

Ugh, I shuddered again just thinking about them.

The promo for the next new episode — which, God willing, won’t be too far in the future — was somehow more intense than tonight’s entire hour. Picture this: Everyone you care about on the show at a birthday party on the beach. Oh, and Tyler’s got a gun. Did I forget to mention that?

The “real” Emily Thorne (Margarita Levieva) made herself at home on the Nov. 16 episode of Revenge by cozying up to the people in “fake” Emily’s (Emily VanCamp) life, including Jack (Nick Wechsler), who she seemed to take a particular liking to. Scenes from next week’s episode reveal her hanging out on “the Amanda,” though maybe they should rename that boat the S.S. Foreshadowing. I’ve got a feeling some bad stuff is about go down.

As always, Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) spent this week’s episode guarding her secrets; and as always, the ever-weasely Tyler (Ashton Holmes) spent the episode sticking his wet weasel where it doesn’t belong. Thanks to some late-night spying — and a paper shredder that produces unusually thick strips — Tyler now knows what Lydia (Amber Valletta) had planned to reveal in her speech the night she was attacked. So basically, he knows everything.

And because there’s nothing soapier than a beautiful lady with amnesia in a wheelchair, Lydia made her triumphant return this week. In a wheelchair. With partial amnesia. She claims to have no memory of what happened the night she was attacked — plus fuzzy memories of other key events — but can we be real for a second? Like, really real? I think we all know Lydia is lying her bed-ridden face off. She’s just biding her time. That’s what sneaky bitches do. They bide stuff.

There were also plenty of same-sex shenanigans, but it wasn’t round two for Nolan (Gabriel Mann) and Tyler. No, this week’s blatant homoerotic moments came courtesy of the two Emilys — or the two Amandas, whatever. Every time they were on-screen together, the hair-touching and eye-humping was undeniable. And the more we learn about their past at the correctional facility, the more I think they had a “special” relationship. Like the kind you’d see on The L Word. Or in that Lady Gaga video where she makes out with herself dressed like a man.

And why exactly was “Emily” placed at said correctional facility? She told Daniel (Joshua Bowman) it was because her foster father was abusive, and she did “something” to shut him up. She’s suddenly not the sweet, innocent girl he thought she was. Daniel should watch more promos for the show; he needs to clued in. Desperately.

Speaking of Daniel, he actually served up two of my favorite moments this week: Not only did he provide the sexiest alibi ever for Emily — “She was in bed with me… all night” — but he also told off Victoria in a way she’s never been told off before. Too bad Victoria doesn’t like to be challenged. He told her to “stay away from Emily,” but I’m thinking she interpreted that as “Please continue to destroy Emily. In fact, try harder from now on.”

Revenge returns at 10 p.m. tonight after two painfully long weeks away, and Gabriel Mann says we can expect more “treachery” than ever. HollywoodLife.com caught up with Gabriel, along with co-stars Ashley Madekwe and Christa B. Allen, at the Breaking Dawn premiere Nov. 14 for the scoop on what’s to come — including whether or not the “real Emily Thorne” will be a friend or foe.

And it sounds like she’ll be… a little of both.

“Like all of the characters, there’s a duality to her,” Ashley explained. “There’s good and bad in all of them.”

But it was the topic of Charlotte’s love life that seemed to elicit the strongest reaction from the trio.

“Things are definitely heating up,” Christa teased, to which a very giddy Gabriel added, “Yeah they are! I can vouch for that. Yeah, they are.”

And what about Tyler? Will Ashley ever realize what a sleaze-ball he is?

“He’s kind of insane, right?” Ashley admits. “She’s one of those girls who turns a blind eye to it, I don’t know why. I would slap him upside his head, but he’s not my boyfriend in real life.”

Ugh! We couldn’t agree more.

Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) threw a major curveball at us on the Oct. 5 episode of ABC’s Revenge when she sent everyone a mass “forgivesies” text and moved away from the Hamptons. JK! She continued to ruin the lives of all the people around her, this week targeting Senator Tom Kingsley (Yancey Arias), the man who prosecuted her father. So how did she do it? I’ve got three words for you, friends: Baby. Mama. Drama.

Being the little shopaholic she is, Emily bought the building where Senator Kingley’s mistress lived and had a few security cameras installed as part of a new renovation. Not only did she leak footage of their sexcapades to the press, but Emily also had the senator’s (now pregnant) mistress flown into the Hamptons, which prompted him to step down from politics. Damn, she’s good.

Meanwhile, Declan (Connor Paolo) plotted a little revenge of his own this week. With help from Nolan (Gabriel Mann), he hacked Adam’s (Robbie Amell) webcam and caught him cheating on Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) with a blonde chick. But rather than destroy Adam for good, Declan instead e-mailed Charlotte a cute little video about the ocean and the sunset and blah, blah, blah. I think I speak for everyone when I say: What the hell, Declan?! This show isn’t called Forgiveness – release that tape, already!

No episode of Revenge, however, would be complete without a deadly dose of bitchy behavior from the Queen of the Hamptons, Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) — and she really outdid herself this week. After giving her cheating husband the stinkiest of stink-eyes, she directed her wrath towards Daniel (Joshua Bowman), letting him know exactly how she felt about his budding relationship with Emily.
