In a never before seen interview, YouTube sensation Rebecca Black tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively she’s releasing a new ‘acoustic’ version of the hit that made her famous, ‘Friday’

When we first sat down to catch up with Rebecca Black, we never expected to hear this. After chatting with us for more than a half an hour, the 14-year-old YouTube maven revealed to HollywoodLife.com exclusively she’s getting ready to re-release her first ever single, “Friday,” in a completely new way.

“We re-recorded ‘Friday’ and it’s totally different,” Rebecca told us. “It’s not like ‘Friday.’ It’s the same lyrics. It’s the same melody — but the style of the music behind it is very different.”

She explained, “I didn’t want it to sound like it sounds, like very pop. When we re-recorded it, I talked to my producer and said, ‘I want this to sound like we’re on the beach with friends, someone’s got a guitar, there’s drums’…I love it.”

Rebecca Black is preparing for the upcoming release of her new single, “My Moment”. The 14-year-old YouTube star has decided to release another single hoping her fame or people’s inability to stop watching her ridiculous video, “Friday” will help spark a career in music.

According to E! Online, Rebecca confirmed she’s “putting the finishing touches on a five-track EP, which will be available next month.” Five tracks? Wow!

Whether you love or loathe her, one thing is for sure, Rebecca is one smart cookie. She had 167 million views on YouTube for her video “Friday,” beating out Justin Bieber’s “Baby” video. It is no wonder she is releasing another video…people can’t stop watching her even if they want to.

Her new song and video, “My Moment” will include home footage of her childhood as well as her gig for the MTV Online Video Awards.

“My Moment” was written by Brandon “Blue” Hamilton and Quinton Tolbert, which means all Rebecca had to do was add some awesome dance moves and singing to the single. We can’t wait to see this new video and all of Rebecca’s outfits.

Today Rebecca tweeted about the exciting new release. “@MsRebeccaBlack : #SUPERexcited that I have a new single/video coming out!! #MyMoment – the single will be on iTunes Tues 7/19. I’ll be posting info tomorrow!” A week from today, the video will be released and then the song hits iTunes!

13-year-old Rebecca Black became a viral star after her music video Friday got 160 million hits on YouTube. Now the video that so-famously chronicled Rebecca’s Friday routine has been replaced with a note from YouTube stating, “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Rebecca Black.” So why did the pop singer take down the video that made her so famous?!

A rep for Rebecca told E! News, “We can confirm that we submitted a Take Down Notice to YouTube as a result of the dispute we have with Ark Music regarding the ‘Friday’ Video.”

ARK Music, who produced the video, recently began charging a video rental fee of $2.99 earlier this week — and Rebecca’s people were not happy about it! Because ARK Music only owns the YouTube site and not the video or song itself, they are exploiting Rebecca by charging money for the video, hence the video being removed.

A YouTube spokesman told E! News, “YouTube takes copyright infringement very seriously. When we receive a complaint alleging that a video infringes another person or company’s copyrights, we remove that video. Users who believe that a video was removed in error can appeal the copyright takedown.”

We hope the dispute gets settled soon so we don’t have to go another weekend without the “Friday” anthem!

She’s hoping to prove to the world she’s a star by recording a hot new record!

Rebecca Black may have started her career as a punchline when “Friday” became a viral sensation, but this entrepreneurial 13-year-old is running with her fame and releasing a new record to prove all of her haters wrong!

Rebecca says her biggest goal is to show the public she really does have a voice that could make her a star.

“People think I sound like a robot, and in ['Friday'], I do sound like a robot,” Rebecca tells the Associated Press. “I don’t want to be known as the ‘Friday’ girl. Hopefully, I can be known as Rebecca Black and not the ‘Friday’ girl. I want to be a performing artist. That’s what I’ve always wanted to do.”

Her ambition to make a new record is exactly what kept her going through the trying time when internet haters first started to mock her. Even when it seemed like the whole world was making fun of her, Rebecca says she had “only [an] hour of tears,” and people teasing her in her youth is what has made her strong.

“I was bullied all the time in school,” Rebecca says. “I don’t know what was so different about me that made people want to pick on me. I thank those people because if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be here right now. I would probably still be sitting at home crying. I’ve dealt with that my whole life. I’ve learned to have a thick skin. I laugh at them now.”

Rebecca hopes her upcoming record will be a good opportunity for fans and haters new and old to reassess her and her talent.

“I want to see everyone’s opinion of my actual voice,” she says. “I don’t care if they love it. I don’t care if they hate it. Well, I’d like it if they loved it, but I just want to hear their opinion.”

One thing is for certain — Rebecca has definitely crossed over from an average kid to an international sensation.

“I’m definitely not some normal 13-year-old girl that barely anyone knows around school anymore,” she says.

Miley takes back some hater remarks she made about the “Friday” star.

Less than a week ago, Miley Cyrus said some pretty mean things about YouTube sensation Rebecca Black. But at the Kids’ Choice Awards on April 2, Miley said the whole thing was a big misunderstanding and that she never meant to offend the 13-year-old.

“I love Rebecca Black. I just got misquoted. I think she’s great,” said the 18-year-old Hannah Montana star.

Miley said she’s a big fan of Rebecca and sings the catchy “Friday” tune in her car all the time.

And there’s even video proof of it!

“I actually have this really embarrassing video that my sister has on her phone…It’s me driving, singing Rebecca Black and my hands are not always on the wheel while I’m singing the song. Not so good,” Miley explains.

He hasn’t responded to her request, but he did tweet a reference to her big hit, saying only “sunday comes after saturday? weird.”

Justin joined girlfriend Selena Gomez, 18, and her pal Demi Lovato, 18, in getting into the conversation about Rebecca.

On March 18, Demi tweeted to Selena, “I miss you because apparently we’re one in the same..!!!” Soon after, Selena replied, “hahaha flashback!! Oh, good times.” Sounds like the Disney gal pals are exchanging some inside jokes about the hoopla surrounding Rebecca!
