We made it to the last night of auditions, ya’ll! The Sept. 27 episode of The X Factor picked up with that totally nail-biting cliffhanger from last night. If you remember, 13-year-old Trevor Moran passed out before hitting the stage, but once he got some fluids in him, he was in front of the judges rocking out to the totally NOT inappropriate LMFAO song, “Sexy and I Know It.” It was a little over the top, but still hilarious. He received four yes’s!

Meanwhile, the girls were backstage swooning over Owen Stuart, 16, who could not stop talking about his serious girlfriend — a girl he’s apparently kissed once and wants to marry already. I’m a sentimental gal and everything, but I lost it when he said, “This one’s for Tori” right before he broke out into B.o.B‘s “Airplanes.” It was completely cheesy, but I gave him props for writing his own verses. And while he didn’t wow Britney Spears, the other judges voted him through.

Next up was 40-year-old Freddie Combs, a 500-pound man who has already lost 400 pounds after nearly dying. He had to be wheeled out onto the stage by his wife. I definitely thought this was going to be a pity-vote situation, but his version of “Wind Beneath My Wings” was impressive — albeit a little boring. L.A. Reid called Freddie’s voice “heavenly,” and he got four yes votes by also promising to work on his health.

Right after a slew of awful auditions, in walked 16-year-old Lauren Jauregui. She belted out Alicia Keys‘ “If I Ain’t Got You,” while her dad teared up backstage. Upon finishing the last note, she immediately received a thumbs-up from Simon Cowell. And as one of his favorite auditions yet, she got the approval of all four judges.

Last up was Jordyn Foley, 12, who’s basically a mini Cyndi Lauper. She decided to sing “Tomorrow” from the musical Annie, which was Simon’s personal Kryptonite. In the middle of her performance, she even gave a corny, inspirational speech about holding out hope for another day. (Gag!) Every one but Simon gave her a yes, after which she broke down into tears and a parade of no-fewer-than 100 people rushed the stage.
