first lady fashion
Melania Trump made quite a statement at the 75th Anniversary Battle of the Coral Sea Dinner in NYC on May 4. The First Lady opted to wear a neon yellow Dior dress to honor Australia’s national color & we can’t decide if we love this look or if it’s way too bold. What do you think? VOTE.
Once again Michelle, you show us just how down to earth you really are!
Can you believe the first lady re-wears her favorite outfits, just like you and me? If you can’t, just check out the picture above! Michelle Obama wore a vibrant blue Jason Wu dress while meeting with Mrs. Margarita Zavala de Caleron, the First Lady of Mexico, on Feb. 25 — but that wasn’t the first time we’ve seen this frock! Miss O first wore this dress almost a year ago, while watching the chef in the White House prepare dinner on Feb. 22, 2009. Not only is she stylish, but she also manages to stay down to Earth! Way to go, Michelle! Read more
The First Lady loves a full-on, feminine dress. Do you?
Michelle rises to the occasion every time she has to throw on an elaborate ensemble and she doesn’t worry about looking wedding-worthy! After all, the stunning soft lilac gown – with a full skirt and fitted bodice – she wore at the Nobel Banquet in Norway on Dec. 10, looks a lot like the wedding-white Jason Wu Inaugural Ball gown! Earlier in the day, Michelle watched hubby Barack, accept the Nobel peace prize in a double-take gold velvet Calvin Klein coat and dress. The Azzedine Alaia gown, (Michelle’s worn Azzedine sweaters before and they ain’t cheap), had a matching coat with tiered layers and a high collar. .
So what’s your feeling about Michelle’s choice – is this a First Lady Hit or Miss? Vote Now!
Did Michelle dress in gold to match Barack’s new Nobel peace medal?
It sure seemed that way when the First Lady pulled out this gold show-stopper to accompany her hubby to The Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony in Norway on Dec. 10. Michelle was dressed fabulously, (as always!), in a velvet coat and dress designed by Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein. The look was from the fall collection and it’s the first time she wore one of Costa’s designs for Calvin Klein, the designer must’ve been so honored! Read more
It’s hard to keep up with the fashionable looks of the First Lady these days.
Since the holiday season is upon us, we can’t imagine it getting any easier! While the recipients at the Kennedy Center Honors this weekend in Washington on Dec. 7 included Bruce Springsteen, Robert De Niro, and Mel Brooks—it was The Big Mrs. O who really stole the show in her purple chiffon Peter Soronen gown. It turns out the First Lady is one of Soronen’s biggest fans! This is about the 20th piece of his that she’s worn—the first was a cocktail suit way back during the campaign, Ellen Carey, a member of his team told us. “She’s worn his designs more than anyone else (other designers) at this point”… Read more
