Fergie's Dress Didn't Fit At The 'Night Of Firsts' Event

Every girl knows how annoying it is to find a dress you totally love that just doesn’t fit when you try it on –

But regardless of how much you fell in love with the frock, it’s never a good idea to commit to it. Unfortunately, it looks like Fergie was determined to wear this strapless get-up regardless of whether or not it fit her last night. The star has such a phenomenal figure that it makes no sense why she wouldn’t just choose a different dress for the occasion.

Fergie turned up at the ‘Night of Firsts’ event in LA on Dec. 8, where she opted for a fun and colorful Jean-Charles de Castelbajac Felix the Cat frock from the Spring 2012 collection. From the front, it seemed like she was sewn into the form-fitting frock and she looked phenomenal — but unfortunately when she turned around she revealed the fact that she had a black panel sewen in to attempt to conceal the zipper that just wouldn’t meet over Fergie’s ample bust.

The star shouldn’t have been embarrassed when she discovered the dress didn’t fit — while a slew of girls can relate, others definitely wouldn’t mind having that problem! I still think Fergie should have opted for a different dress — regardless of how many alterations you make, there’s no hiding the fact that the frock didn’t fit.

Fergie Celebrates Her 36th Birthday In A Tight Fringe Dress & Colorful Pumps!

She may be another year older, but she looks better than ever in her colorful get-up — but is the bright combo super stylish or does it kinda clash?

Fergie headed to Las Vegas to celebrate her 36th birthday, where the star put her assets on full display in a body-hugging Herve Leger coral fringe dress at The Bank in the Bellagio. As if the dress and fringes didn’t make a bold enough statement, she paired the get-up with a turquoise pair of Brian Atwood Felini pumps.

I guess if you’re going to pull out a dress that tight, there’s no better place to do it than Vegas — and she definitely has the body for it. I do love the shoes, but I don’t think they were necessary with the coral dress. Had she opted for a sandal or nude pump I think I would’ve liked this look much better — with all the colors it looks more like a costume!

Then there’s Julia Roberts. The perennial beauty and Lancome spokeswoman can’t get it wrong, working her tousled hair, long lashes and pretty pink lip.

How much do you love Janet Jackson’s fabulous new look? The short hair, defined eye makeup, beautiful wine-colored lip – adore this look!

And we have a new fabulous entry into the Best of Beauty Gallery: Alexa Ray Joel! The singer worked a very sultry look with long tousled curls, long lashes and a fabulous red lip! Well done!
