Joe’s super-hyped solo album barely sells 18,000 copies in its first week — did his ex-girlfriends put a hex on him?

Joe Jonas released his new solo record Fastlife on Oct. 11, but his fans didn’t seem to support him — it only landed at number 15 on the charts!

Joe, 22, only moved a meager 18,000 copies of his new record, Billboard reports. In comparison, his little brother Nick Jonas released his solo album last year and sold 82,000 copies — how embarrassing!

Our theory? Joe got bad karma from ex-girlfriends like Ashley Greene and Demi Lovato, — after all, he wrote songs on the album about his relationships with them!

Side note: Demi’s record Unbroken sold 96,000 copies in its first week, Billboard also reports. Poor Joe!

Joe leaves his purity ring behind on the raunchy new record. We think its great — if a little shocking! Do you think his new attitude is cool or too shocking?

Joe Jonas released his new solo record Fastlife on Oct. 11, and it definitely has our whole office dancing. But after listening to the lyrics, we’re blown away by how raunchy his new persona is!

Joe, 22, has several songs in which he’s not afraid to express his grown-man sexuality!

In “All This Time,” he sings, “I put it right in your face / Girl, it’s yours / All you got to do is reach out and grab it.”

In “Take It And Run,” Joe sings, “She’ll kiss your lips in the parking lot / You’ll want to stop, but you can’t stop / And it’s getting hot, getting way too hot / And before you know it / You’ve done something stupid / That you’ll regret later on.”

And in “Make You Mine,” he sings, “Tell me what you want and I’ll give it / Just as long as you know where we’re headed / Back to my place when it’s all over / That’s when I’m sober, baby / Gonna make you mine tonight / I wanna rock with you ’til sunrise / Let me do all the little things you like.”

Joe Jonas says he’s had songs written about him in the past, but wouldn’t use any exes’ names because that would be looking for trouble! Do YOU agree?

With Joe Jonas having ties to young Hollywood stars like Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato and Ashley Greene, it is not always easy being discrete when writing songs about them.

On a webisode of Small Talk with Joe Jonas on Andpop.com, the 21-year-old singer discusses the difficulties of going through a break-up and writing a song or two after it.

“I feel like artist have the responsibility to be able to write about whoever they want to write about,” he says.

There is always worries about running into your ex and having to explain about that song you wrote but if there are no names in it, one can’t really be upset.

He explains, “It can be very flattering when someone writes a song about you,” adding, “You just have to get it.”

Joe says he wants his fans to relate to his music as much as possible by having his lyrics relate to both males and females. His first solo album, Fastlife, drops Oct. 11.

We’re obsessed with Joe Jonas‘s music video for his single, “Just In Love,” where he falls in love with a gorgeous girl in France — and now we have new info on the lucky gal who got to play his lover!

Meet Angele Sassy, a French model, whose modeling profile says she’s 5’8 1/2″ with perfect proportions (34-24-34). Apparently, she wears a size four dress and size eight shoes.

Joe Jonas’s much-anticipated official music video for ‘Just In Love’ dropped Sept. 12 and it lives up to its hype 100%! It’s practically flawless!

If falling in love with Joe Jonas is anything in real life like what it seems in his music video for “Just In Love,” sign us up! In the video — which premiered on E! News Sept. 12 — the 21-year-old singer meets a gorgeous French girl and travels all around Paris with her, including a trip to his bedroom. (Yes, there’s even a bathtub scene!) Going where no Jo Bro has ever gone before, Joe strips down, gets hot and heavy and we’re eating it up, every second.

Also, take a look at Joe’s revealing interview with E! News reporter Giuliana Rancic! He admits that some of the sexy scenes in the video were a little awkward to film — and he was relieved his parents weren’t around for it!

Giuliana asked what type of girl would really get his attention, and he replied, “independent, funny, keeps me laughing, and understands my crazy schedule.” Joe also assured viewers that it could absolutely be an audience member that ends up being his lady love, even though in the past he’s mostly dated other celebs.

She also pointed out that he recently ran into ex-girlfriend Demi Lovato! Joe revealed “I’m really happy for her… I love her. She’s one of my best friends.” Aw!

Joe Jonas is doing just about anything to promote his new album, ‘FastLife’ — even giving the weather! Do YOU think he makes a good newsman?

Joe Jonas is really stepping out of his circle of comfort! The 21-year-old heart breaker went on one of Chicago’s local news shows and filled in for their weatherman. All things considered, Joe did a great job holding his own…but we’re sure glad he can sing!
