At the Fall 2013 Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week on March 5, eyes shined like diamonds. We’ll fill you in on the exact makeup used and how you can fit the routine into your regular life.

Chanel Makeup At Paris Fashion Week — Fall 2013 Collection

Makeup artist Peter Philips prepped models skin with Hydra Beauty Serum. He then applied all Chanel makeup for the show look.

For a flawless completion, he used VITALUMIERE AQUA Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15 and POUDRE UNIVERSELLE LIBRE Natural Finish Loose Powder.

To add definition, try ECLAT LUMIERE Highlighting Face Pen.

On the eyes, the models wore QUADRA EYE SHADOW in Prélude, LE VOLUME DE CHANEL Mascara in Noir, RECOURBE CILS DE CHANEL Precision Eyelash Curler, LE CRAYON YEUX Precision Eye Definer in Noir and LE CRAYON KHOL Intense Eye Pencil in Clair.

For some pretty color, Chanel Blush in Inspiration was used on the cheeks and Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Colour Lipshine in Instinct was applied to the lips.

Chanel’s Fashion Show — Sequin Eyeliner

On the eyes, platinum sequins were applied individually on the upper lashes, “like an eyeliner.” The sequins are not for sale — and probably wouldn’t work for day time anyway. Instead, to get some shine, we like Sumita Beauty’s Brow Glow Pencil.

It will give you some subtle shine without your beauty look being too far out.

Sometimes Fashion Week trends are hard to try in every day life, but the braids at Valentino are swoon-worthy and easy to copy! Check out the expert tips below!

Guido, Redken‘s Creative Consultant, was backstage at the show creating the pretty looks on the models.

“I’d describe the clean, polished side braid I created at Valentino with the word monastic — fit for the young beauty the designer envisioned when creating this collection. The inspiration for the hair and clothes was a number of portraits by Dutch masters — which is a very Valentino setting, and this braid really encompasses that feeling with its center part and the high forehead.”

Guido continued, “She’s a simple, young girl but she still has style, and every girl can relate to it which makes it more personal, even intimate — and also reflects the appeal of the brand itself. I’ve done a side braid before, but it was always sexier, like at Alexander Wang a few years ago — this one is more minimal, but there’s a certain level of seduction in the innocence.”

Valentino’s Fashion Show Braids — Get The Look

Check out the exact products needed to perfect the look at home:

“1. Apply Redken satinwear 02 prepping blow dry lotion to damp hair from roots to ends and blow-dry straight with a boar bristle brush.

2. Create a clean center part, and then use a fine tooth comb to brush hair to one side (the side that the braid will fall on- in the show it was the models’ left) from the back (so center part stays intact).

3. Tuck the side of the hair you will braid behind the ear and then rub a small amount of satinwear 02 into your hands to help you as you start to braid, beginning a few inches down from the neck, keeping your wrists and elbows low as you go.

4. Create a braid that’s smooth but not too tight, and secure with an elastic at the tip, leaving only an inch or two unbraided at the end.

5. Put a few drops of NEW Redken Diamond Oil Shatterproof Shine (available starting May 1) on your hands, rub together to emulsify, and lightly run your hands over the hair on either side.

6. Slide the leather band over the head so that it rests 2-3 inches back from the forehead and covers the front of the ears.

7. Mist with Redken fashion work 12 versatile working spray to finish.”

To get a look like January, tease hair with a rat tail comb near the crown. Gently brush out hair and put in velcro rollers throughout head. Let set. Spray lightly with hairspray. Remove rollers and tease hair again. Brush the top layer of hair over the teased portion. Comb all hair back and secure with a thin black headband.

Liam Hemsworth Is Accused Of Cheating With January Jones

January came under fire recently after she was spotted out with Miley Cyrus‘ fiance Liam Hemsworth on Feb. 23.

“It looked like [Liam and January] had some hot chemistry,” an inside at the pre-Oscars party told Star magazine. “Liam got January’s coat and helped her put it on, then they headed outside. They made sure to leave a few seconds apart, so they wouldn’t attract too much attention. Then they jumped into a waiting car and took off.”

Despite tabloid reports that the engagement was called off, Miley tweeted on March 6, “I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn’t call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining”

Anna Sui knows how to create cool, youthful looks and the Fall 2013 collection was no exception. In fact, it almost looked as if an ultra-cool teenage girl or real-life Gossip Girl who has her finger on the pulse of fashion and a flair for vintage crafted the fun, flirty outfits that came down the runway during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center.

AnnaSophia Robb & Chloe Moretz Would Look Amazing In The Collection:

The styles reminded us of what we could expect to see on Blair Waldorf’s cooler, funkier sister — and we think the collection would be great for stylish young stars that always manage to steal the spotlight, whether it’s with their stellar street style or their seriously cool red carpet looks. For example, we could see AnnaSophia Robb, (who plays a young Carrie Bradshaw on the Carrie Diaires), wearing the Fall 2013 collection both on and off the set of her CW show! Another starlet who would look fantastic in the Sixties-inspired dresses is Chloe Moretz.

Bright Colors & Patterns Popped On The Runway:

The colorful collection boasted wearable items, like lightweight sweater dresses and graphic, A-line frocks, while models marched down the runway in bright tights and knee socks. The looks were put together perfectly, and the layering kept the cohesive collection flirty and fun, with neckties poking out underneath printed sweaters and faux fur jackets layered over Sixties-inspired dresses.

The Accessories Were Just As Cool As The Clothes:

Everywhere you looked there were vibrant hues, graphic prints and stripes — and the prints didn’t stop at just the clothes! Bags with pretty patterns, colorful sunglasses, hats and statement jewelry really pulled the whole collection together. The attention to detail was evident in every look that came down the runway.

Naeem Khan is a staple on the red carpet and the designer is synonymous with glamorous evening wear, which is why it comes as no surprise that his Fall 2013 collection boasted one dramatic dress after another. Who could forget that the fashionable First Lady herself, Michelle Obama, is one of his biggest fans? In fact, she selected a custom-made metallic gown by the designer when she presented at the 85th Annual Academy Awards on Feb. 24 — and we could see her show off a slew of other looks from the Fall 2013 collection! There was a blue, one-shoulder gown with a satin tie that cinched in the model’s waist and accentuated her figure that would be perfect for Michelle, especially since the First Lady loves flattering looks that allow her to flaunt one of her best assets, her toned arms.

Sexy, Red-Carpet-Worthy Style On The Runway:

While the collection consisted of timeless, conservative chic looks we also saw gorgeous gowns that were fit for some of our favorite red carpet divas! If a star is looking to make a memorable, over-the-top entrance at their next event, than they should look no further than the runway. With strategic cutouts that flaunted cleavage to thigh-high slits and open-back detailing, the designer crafted looks that embrace the sexy side of a woman in a seriously chic way. Stars who love to flaunt their curves, like Katy Perry and Nina Dobrev, (who wore one of the designer’s printed gowns from the collection to the Elton John Oscars party), can easily stun in these sexy looks — and I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before we see them showing off these dresses!

The Inspiration Behind The Collection:

Inspired by the Byzantine Empire, it was all about the luxe details. The designer incorporated velvet and Ottoman embroidery into the collection, while gowns in rich jewel tones added a dramatic burst of color in commanding reds and blues — and is wasn’t all about the gowns! While the gorgeous evening wear proved to be the highlight of the collection, there were also pretty, A-line dresses and separates that are just as red-carpet-worthy for a casual photocall or premiere.

The flattering, feminine silhouettes and key construction set the designer’s work apart, while the intricate beading, embroidery and embellishments really added to the rich collection — check it out here and let us know who you hope to see wearing one of the gorgeous looks!

So many of our fave celebs skipped across the pond to take in the Givenchy Fall/Winter 2013 ready-to-wear collection during Paris Fashion Week on Mar. 3, making it one of the most star-studded front rows around! While Kim Kardashian continued to leave us quite confused with her pregnancy dressing, she matched her baby daddy Kanye West in their complimentary monochromatic looks. While Kim opted for all black everything, Kanye stood out next to her in a crisp white ensemble — clone couple alert! Although Kim’s maternity style hasn’t impressed us at all, the Kimye baby has already established it’s fashion cred, becoming a fixture in the front row — in fact, the Givenchy show marks baby’s first fashion show!

I’m confused as to why Kim would tuck a shirt into high-waisted pants when she’s pregnant — it really makes her growing baby bump look so awkward! It definitely seems like Kim’s having some trouble adjusting to her new, mommy-to-be figure — we just hope she figures out her maternity style soon! While Kim’s look wasn’t our fave, her pal Ciara looked sexy and chic in a Givenchy ensemble that featured a thigh-high slit and sheer panels.

There was a lot of black and white in the front row at the show, where the celebs in attendance played tribute to the fashion house. My two faves were definitely Amanda Seyfried and Nicole Richie. Nicole looked so stylish and chic in a black and white ruffled ensemble, while a pair of pointy pumps and a clutch completely her look. The star balanced out the voluminous ruffles with her fresh-faced look and she pulled it off flawlessly.

While Nicole wowed in a structured ensemble, Amanda, (who wore a red Givenchy gown to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party), opted for a one-sleeved dress by the brand with geometric detailing. Black ankle strap sandals, smoky eyes and glossy waves tied the front row look together. While the silhouette was more demure compared to some of Amanda’s award season looks, it was appropriate and chic — she’s such a style star!

BCBG always manages to send a few must-have items down the runway, and the latest looks were no exception. From laser-cut leather dresses with feminine silhouettes to floor-length fur vests, the BCBG Fall 2013 collection was quite versatile — and it reminded us of some of our favorite stars! Although the star-studded crowd that usually flocks to the show was surprisingly absent we’re sure Rihanna would look edgy and cool in the leather tops and fur pieces, while stars with a more feminine sense of style, like Zooey Deschanel, will gravitate towards the A-line dresses — and we can’t wait to see stylish celebs flaunting the runway looks, both on and off the red carpet.

The Inspiration:

Models sported sleek, straight locks underneath beanies, and loads of layering contributed to the grunge-y feel of the collection, while the inspiration came from Istanbul. Max and Lubov Azria were especially moved by the mosaic tiles and vibrant hues found in Istanbul’s mosques. The result? Bold, wearable prints and a mixture of textures infused in practically every look. Who doesn’t love a vibrant pop of color to combat the drab, winter weather?

Wearable Outerwear That’s Perfect For The Girl On-The-Go:

While the layering might not be practical for everyday dressing, the outerwear certainly was. From quilted parkas to fur-trimmed hoodies and jackets with leather detailing, the very wearable yet chic items were definitely a highlight in the collection.

Many of the skirts and dresses were midi or maxi-length, while slits that stretched up to the thigh added a hint of skin to the more modest silhouettes — now that’s how you make a sexy statement!

Lots Of Leather:

Leather was a major trend for 2012, and it looks like it will be carried into 2013 as well. Leather was infused in every part of the collection. From edgy leggings to feminine dresses, laser-cut tops and intricate detailing on jackets, the leather looks went from tough and edgy to soft and feminine — regardless of your personal sense of style you can still find a way to make this trend work for you!

The attendes at Etam’s Fall 2013 fashion show during Paris Fashion Week were in for a treat on Feb. 26, when songstress Rita Ora performed for the crowd while the latest lingerie looks from the brand came down the catwalk. The singer looked just as sexy as the runway models, flaunting her curves in a lacy, thigh-bearing Emilio Pucci skull beaded dress in a bright red hue that was simply show-stopping. Jimmy Choo Gladiator-style boots laced up her calves to her knee, accentuating her sexy look and really putting the focus on her bare legs.

Rita stuck to the sexy theme, pairing the mini and her boots with a gold cross choker. A stack of gold bracelets decorated her wrists while a red lip really tied the whole outfit together. The star wore her hair back in two braids to keep the focus on her show-stopping dress, and the style really stayed true to Rita’s signature look.

The star performed while models, clad in sexy lingerie looks including bras, panties and thigh-highs, strutted their stuff in the Fall 2013 designs from Etam — and Rita managed to command as much attention as the scantily clad models!

Rita is no stranger to the runway! In fact, the singer showed up in the front row at the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2013 fashion show during London Fashion Week, where she was wearing a tee and sitting in the front row to show her support for her model BFF Cara Delevinge while the model strutted her stuff for the british brand.

The star is known for her edgy sense of style and she isn’t one to shy away from showing some skin — and that’s exactly what she did on the runway!
