HollywoodLife.com sits down with Jennifer to discuss Eric’s sorry attempt at an apology — and Jennifer reveals what she’s looking for in her next man!

Basketball Wives star Jennifer Williams has been through enough heartbreak with her soon-to-be ex-hubby Eric Williams. During the Aug. 8 season finale, Eric completely disrespected Jennifer by throwing a drink in her face after they had a massive fight. But Jennifer remains positive that she will find someone better than Eric the next time around. Jennifer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively all about Eric’s lame text message apology and what she thinks about the way Eric treated her as she answers fan questions!

“We have not had a conversation since [the incident],” Jennifer admits. “He texted me a few days after he threw the drink and he apologized. But then he said, ‘I heard you found someone.’ That was definitely not the person I married, or maybe it was and it was hidden all that time. To me that just goes to show that you can know someone and never really know them.”

Jennifer feels that her divorce party demonstrated her strength and independence from Eric. “For the longest time, I had been very uncertain of what I was going to do and just really not happy,” she explains. “To me it symbolized moving forward, being happy and just being independent. Why not celebrate that?”

And even though it was hard to have the struggles of her relationship on TV, Jennifer has no regrets. “It was difficult at times,” she confesses. “But I don’t live with regrets. I’m glad it happened that way because who knows — if I wasn’t forced to talk about these things, I may still be in that miserable situation.”

Jennifer is even moving on with her dating life, even though she’s not ready to settle down with a new guy just yet. “I’m looking for a guy that can make me laugh, we have a good time,” she says. “Right now, I definitely don’t want anything serious. I’m focusing on me.”

She also shares some advice with her friend and co-star Evelyn Lozada, who is about to get married to Chad Ochocinco. “When you get married, you just really have to be on the same page with the person,” Jennifer notes. “Trust and communication is key.”

Basketball Wives star Jennifer Williams handled herself quite maturely when her soon-to-be ex-hubby Eric Williams threw a drink at her during the Aug. 8 season finale. Jennifer also decided to leave the scene before her co-star Royce Reed arrived so that she could avoid the drama of a pointless confrontation. HollywoodLife.com talks with Jennifer about everything that happened during the season finale — and Jennifer tells us that she’s “shocked” at how certain situations turned out!

Jennifer couldn’t believe it when Eric threw the drink in her face. “I was actually in shock,” she admits. “To be honest, I know that I threw the glass [first], but I didn’t throw it intentionally to hit him. I felt like when he came back, and he threw the drink, I was like, ‘Wow!’ It was so aggressive and so forceful. It was like, ‘Wow, did he really just do that?’ It was just a confirmation that I was doing the right thing — getting a divorce.”

So she was quite glad to let loose on the “Eric” pinata at her divorce party! “It definitely felt good,” Jennifer fesses. It felt good to be with my friends and celebrate independence. Although I’m not officially divorced, I know that I’m moving in that direction.”

And when it came to Royce, Jennifer believes that they will never be friends again. “I don’t really have anything to say to Royce,” she says. “I feel like she’s very immature and I already tried to explain to her one time. I don’t think she’s going to get it, so I’m done. I’m not going to make you anymore relevant. I’m done.”

Sometimes laughter is the best remedy! That best describes my thoughts on last night’s episode of VH1’s Basketball Wives. The episode was full of comedy, did he/she just say that, tears and of course drama!

I would like to start by saying I absolutely appreciate Suzie being a mature woman and coming to me and telling me that Eric has been reaching out to her. It is always best to hear it from the person than to hear it secondhand from someone else. Listen, I am not trying to knock anyone’s business hustle, however all the girls know the pain and hurt I have gone through with Eric. For him, to approach my friends to be part of a project and one that is about women stealing from men AND involves nudity is just too much! C’mon, even guys know there is a girlfriend code!

Royce on the other hand is a different story. It would be one thing if they were friends before Eric and I got together, but rehashing my problems with her is like beating a dead horse! Did you not witness my breakdown in Spain over my marriage? GIRLFRIEND 101!! NEXT…

Just when you think you know all there is to know about a person, they go and do something outlandish. That is my motto about Eric these days. Can we say “Hollywood”? I swear I didn’t recognize that “character” last night! Telling Suzie she is going to be nude in his movie? Really? And he feels I robbed him for ten years? So many WOW’s!! I am going to take the high road with Eric. However, I do feel him reaching out to Royce and Suzie (the two people he thought I wasn’t friends with) is rather spiteful! Eric and I were together for quite some time and although we are no longer together, I think we should have a mutual respect for each other. So good luck with that blockbuster movie! Wink!

The Polo event was memorable to say the least. The drinks were flowing so you know what that means for us Basketball Wives! I knew us going to Polo in two different groups was going to be awkward. So Tami comes over to have a conversation with me and next thing I know Meeka is telling Tami she is her “momma”! What?? All I could think to myself was this is not going to end well! Meeka has definitely gotten herself in the middle of everything and was definitely out of line, but I also think she had one too many drinks. Tami already wasn’t too fond of her but that set her completely off! It was an all out screaming match and all I was thinking was that we need to get the hell out of here! Like I said last night, you do not want to be on Tami’s bad side! That is certainly not the last of Tami and Meeka, it gets even better! Stay tuned…

Jennifer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Royce broke the girlfriends code of conduct by contacting Jennifer’s ex! Was this wrong of Royce to do?

Basketball Wives star Jennifer Williams can’t believe that her co-star Royce Reed had the nerve to send Twitter messages to her soon-to-be ex-husband Eric Williams. That’s why during the June 13 episode, the girls had a sit-down to hash out their differences and Royce just didn’t understand that what she did was wrong. Jennifer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Royce broke the girlfriends’ code and that’s why Evelyn Lozada had to defend poor Jennifer’s honor leading to the explosive battle.

“What happened was Royce and Eric, my soon-to-be ex — have been tweeting back and forth, so basically I was just confronting her,” Jennifer explains. “But Royce is very immature so she wasn’t quite getting what I was saying.”

“I think it’s just girlfriends 101 — there are certain things you don’t do,” continues Jennifer. “I don’t think she would appreciate if I was doing that to one of her exes. I was just trying to get her to see the point.”

But Jennifer’s efforts to explain the situation and her feelings to Royce failed and that’s why Evelyn got involved — to give Jennifer backup. “Sometimes talking to her [Royce] — it goes in one ear and out the other. She basically didn’t get it,” says Jennifer. “Evelyn was just defending me and it kind of took on a life of it’s own. So then they started arguing. And then Evelyn just picked up the drink and threw it at her. It got crazy.”

And because of the massive blowout, Jennifer and Royce are no longer on good terms. “I don’t talk to her,” says Jennifer. “They wanted me to shoot a scene with her today and I was like no. I just feel like talking to her is a lost cause because she’s very immature. I’d rather not waste my time.”

“I felt like she just stabbed me in the back,” adds Jennifer. “I was disappointed that she would even stoop that low. There are just certain codes that people need to respect and that’s one of them. It’s inappropriate.”

And on a side note, Jennifer informs us that nothing on the VH1 reality show is set up by producers, especially the fight where Evelyn threw a glass at Royce. “Nothing on our show is staged,” confesses Jennifer. “It’s not scripted. I was completely surprised that Evelyn picked it up and threw it at her because it got on me.”

From one basketball wife to another: Jennifer Williams thinks Erin Barry is a traitor to the NBA Wives sisterhood!

The day she allegedly started carrying on a sext-message affair with Tony Parker, Erin Barry (whose husband Brent played with Tony) broke an “unspoken” NBA wives code to never cheat with another wife’s husband. 

“When you hear that it’s another wife that is the cause of a divorce, it surprises me,” Jennifer Williams, wife of former NBA player Eric Williams who played on the San Antonio Spurs with Tony in 2006-2007, tells HollywoodLife.com. “I know that Eva and Erin, I don’t want to say [had] a close relationship, but Brent and Tony were on the team for a while together, so they were pretty friendly. So when you hear something like that, it’s definitely shocking!”

“[NBA Wives] stick together,” says Jennifer. co-star of VH1′s Basketball Wives. “It’s just something that’s not really spoken, but it’s understood that we have this sisterhood of women. When you’re on a team with these players and you become close with the wives, you can call them up for whatever. We’re all in the same situation, so everyone understands we have a common bond.”

“I was shocked to hear he was cheating with a teammate’s wife,” agrees Jennifer’s co-star Suzie Ketcham, who was married to now-retired NBA center Michael Olowokandi.”Definitely don’t lose yourself [to one of these guys].”

“We all understand what it’s like to be with these guys and it’s definitely not easy,” says Jennifer. “[But] we have this sisterhood of women and you would think that someone who understands your position that you’re in, wouldn’t go and do that to your husband.”
