Guests made donations to charity partners Guard A Heart and Yes Beat Liver Tumors and were pampered and gifted at the breathtaking historic Pickford Mansion in Hancock Park.

Guard A Heart, presented by AVIIR Laboratories provided an artist showcase featuring live acoustic performances by Ryan Boone, Jenni Alpert, Zach Callison, Zhavea, Ralph Dudley, The Almighty Grind, With Our Words, Inc.(WOW), youth poetry collective, Sarah Agajanian, Natalie Gelman, CEEJ, John Fullwood and Of Verona.

We loved all the trends that we saw come down the red carpet at the 2012 Emmys. From hues of yellow, green and blue to sparkling embellished dresses, there were so many covetable creations! Luckily dressing like a celeb doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag anymore — WATCH if you want to recreate one of the stunning looks from Emmys night for less!

We started with Emmy winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus. All eyes were on her in her Vera Wang — and luckily, you can get a burgundy frock with the exact same illusion-detailing at the neckline for just $155 at David’s Bridal. A fantastic price for a sophisticated and sexy creation!

Next, we found an embellished Badgley Mischka creation at Rent the Runway that looked exactly like the plunging Stella McCartney gown Amy Poehler wowed the crowd while wearing!

Yellow was the color of the night, with everyone from Julie Bowen to Julianne Moore stealing the spotlight in the bright shade. Get the look for just $139 at David’s Bridal — and if that color doesn’t suit you, simply scoop it up in a slew of other shades!

Girls star Allison Williams has quickly become one to watch on the red carpet — and she didn’t disappoint in a green Oscar de la Renta gown with peplum detailing. We love the idea of working the trend in a shorter version — it’s practical and chic! You can get the dress we chose at TJ Maxx for just $99.

Kelly Osbourne, 27, posted a pic of her nail polish on Instagram, with the caption, ‘I’m s***ting myself to have that much money on my nails!’ Kelly’s decorative digits contained a whopping 267 carats in black diamonds!

The tiny bottle of varnish, by Los Angeles-based luxury jeweler, Azature, was released last month; and so far, Jennifer Lopez is the only other person to have worn it. Kelly told E! on the red carpet: ‘I’ve been so scared to touch anything because its powdered black diamonds… worth $250,000. I’m the only person they let wear it, it’s in a safe upstairs in the hotel room. I couldn’t believe it. I have not touched a thing all day.’

Celebrity stylist, Nicolas Bru, responsible for Kelly’s quarter-of-a-million dollar manicure, and her Zac Posen gown, explained: ‘I was very inspired by the neo-goth looks presented on the runways this fall, and I wanted to mix that up with red carpet glamour.’

While just one bottle of the 267-carat nail polish was produced, other $25 versions of the ritzy design went on sale in September.

Azature, the mononymous designer behind the brand, said that the black diamond is the ‘ultimate fine jewel’. He added: ‘One day, I thought, “why not showcase this style on nails?” So I developed a Black Diamond Nail Polish with the same attention and quality as my jewelry in order to preserve the elegance of the black diamond.’

Check out her pro tips for creating this timeless style:

Prep the hair for maximum shine by applying Clairol Professional Jazzing in Clear to dried hair from root to tip. Let the product sit for 15 minutes and then rinse it out.

Using a round brush, blow-dry the hair in sections until completely dried. Tease the hair at the roots on top of the head and apply clip-ins in a matching hue backwards for added volume. Spritz the face framing pieces with gold hairspray for temporary sheen and brightness.

Create a deep side part and create a ponytail at the crown. Then twist the hair around the ponytail to create a bun. Secure with pins, and loosen random pieces to create a more voluminous bun. Spritz with muze|hair Last Look Hairspray for long-lasting hold.

From sexy plunging necklines to sheer insets and spectacular colors, the list was endless! See who turned up to party and tell us who YOU think donned the best dress of the night.

Christina Hendricks, 37, has a stunning Old Hollywood glamour air about her, which her hair and makeup team definitely worked with!

Celebrity Makeup Artist Vanessa Scali aimed to create a look that complemented Christina’s old Hollywood-esque Christian Siriano gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Of the look, Vanessa said, “I was inspired by the soft, feminine look of the dress and its cool, shimmery neutral color against her skin. I kept her face soft and romantic, but added contrast and strength with a bold lip color.”

Here’s Christina’s makeup breakdown from Vanessa Scali’s team:

Vanessa began by using Hourglass No. 28 Primer Serum. She loves this primer serum as it delivers penetrating moisture and leaves the skin feeling beautiful and clean. She then applied Hourglass Illusion Tinted Moisturizer in Shell – the formula is effortless to apply and made her skin look natural and flawless. Hourglass Hidden Corrective Concealer was applied wherever necessary. Hourglass Aura Sheer Cheek Stain in Flush was applied to the apples of the cheeks blending outward to the cheekbones.

Vanessa gave Christina a bold, strong lip with Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Icon.

For definition and intensity, she lined her eyes with Hourglass Calligraphy Liquid Liner in Ebony at the base of the lashes and on the inside top rim of the eye. Using the lighter shade from Hourglass Visionaire Eye Shadow Duo in Gypsy, she swept the color from the lash line to the eye brow. Then, she used a touch of the deeper shade blending it well, from the lash line to just above the crease and swept past the natural outer corner to exaggerate and elongate the eye. This color continues very subtly under the bottom lashes. She finished the eyes with lush, flirty lashes – Hourglass Film Noir Full Spectrum Mascara was used all over the lashes and Hourglass Film Noir Lash Lacquer concentrated on the center of the lashes.

John Frieda Celebrity Hairstylist Gregory Russell was also inspired by the Old Hollywood glamour of Christina’s look. Here’s how he created her va-va-voom hairstyle:

On dry hair, apply Frizz-Ease Curl Reviver Styling Mousse to 1″ sections until all of the hair has been covered. This is to build texture while taming frizz. Brush hair using a Mason Pearson flat brush to dry out the mousse and create volume.  Take hair in 1″ sections, spray with Frizz-Ease Moisture Barrier Firm-Hold Hair Spray and wrap around a 1″ barrel curling iron. Pin each curl and let them set for 45 minutes. Brush out each curl and then backcomb the underneath to add extra fullness and shape.

Use a dime size amount of Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon Flawless Finishing Crème through the bangs to create perfect definition and added shine. To finish, mist a thin coat of hairspray in an even, all-around motion, to set the look.

Julianne Hough is totally in love with her beau, Ryan Seacrest. The gorgeous 24-year-old attended the Emmys with Ryan, and HollywoodLife.com can tell you that during a commercial break, they were all over each other!
