However, she was quick to add “they need to start a Real Housewives of the Hamptons!”

Sounds like Emmy likes to spend time in the Hamptons — while wearing her suncreen, of course!

“Emmy’s dress had a feel of sophistication and sexiness to it and I really wanted to make the whole look an iconic moment for her,” Marcus explains. “Icons Audrey Hepburn and Sophia Loren were synonymous with those characteristics, so I thought a mash-up of the two creating a roughed up French twist would be perfect.

On towel dried hair, apply Leonor Greyl Mousse from roots to ends and blow dry with a medium-size round brush. Make a deep side part and sweep your front layers (or bangs) across your forehead using a large curling iron to make the bend happen right at the eyebrows.

Tease the crown and spray with Oribe Superfine Hairspray before lightly smoothly out with a paddle brush like a Mason Pearson. Spray the hair with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray and pull back; begin twisting and pinning up to create a French twist. Pin securely but loose enough to show texture and flyaways for a younger approach to this classic style.”

Emmy Rossum Wears Armani Mascara To Saving Tails Fundraiser

Amy Nadine, celebrity makeup artist and the co-founder (with Lauren Conrad) of TheBeautyDepartment.com, created the summer-ready look on Emmy.

She posted a photo on Instagram on April 14: “Our lovely Miss @emmyrossum at last night’s Saving Tails Fundraiser! I used @limecrimemakeup Velvetines Lipstick in Suedeberry + Kevyn Aucoin Cream Blush in TanSoleil + Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara.”

To break that down, Amy used Lime Crime’s Velvetines Lipstick in Suedeberry on her lips for a bright pop of color.

For her cheeks, she used Kevyn Aucoin The Creamy Glow in Tansoleil, an apricot shade. The cream blush comes in seven pretty shades. Although the color looks super pigmented, it goes on light and sheer, and is build-able, so you decide how much color you want to use.

To make her lashes stand out, she brushed on Armani’s Eyes to Kill Mascara. The mascara separates, volumizes and lengthens all at once. It doesn’t clump and leaves your lashes looking long and full!

Victoria Justice not only walked at the launch of H&M’s Conscious Exclusive Collection but she rocked one of the pieces from the latest line! The 20-year-old Victorious starlet flaunted a chic, classic black strapless dress detailed with a white, pleated ruffle. The dress is stylish and affordable while the silhouette was enhanced with a flirty bustier top and showed off the star’s frame in all the right places. Vic continues to WOW us whenever she steps out.

Last but not least, the stylish Julianne Hough stunned in Vivienne Westwood while attending the Lucky Magazine Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference in Hollywood on Apr. 4. The starlet dressed up a causal red-and-white striped top with one of the designer’s boho-inspired white structured skirts. While the skirt hit the floor and slightly overwhelmed the star’s itty-bitty frame, Julianne was able to polish off the look by pairing it with a sleek red belt. “She was wearing a sexy black and gold dress that had a flapper-y vibe but the shape was very 60’s, so we went with something mod inspired, especially with the eye and the nude lip. It was best for her hair to be sleek, sophisticated and simple.  It was mod themed but modernized, not too period. Not too over-the-top. When I do an inspired look, I like to modernize it,” Jake tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY about the inspiration.

Emmy Rossum’s Mod Makeup — Get The Exact Look

“On her eyes, it was mega top and bottom lashes, lots of mascara, lots of eyeliner. I used Ardell’s demi lashes and waterproof cream liner to line the lash line. I drew a thin line in the crease to set back the eye. I painted little tiny lashes in between her real lower lashes for a false-lash effect. It’s my old school trick and stars get a kick out of it!”

“I used a coral nude lip gloss. Sometimes the flashes on the red carpet can wash out a straight nude gloss. I like pink or coral in the nude so she’s not washed out. Then I used cream bronzer to warm the complexion without adding another element to distract from her gorgeous skin.”

Emmy Rossum’s Perfect Skin — Her Skincare Secret

The key to flawless skin is a good base, so Jake makes sure the celebs he works with always exfoliate.

“People want to see perfect skin. HD cameras and red carpets are harsh and instant, so skin care becomes key. I encourage my girls to exfoliate. I love the Biore Acne Clearing Scrub. It purifies, it does everything. I like it because a lot of exfoliators can dry the skin but this one is not drying. Emmy has really beautiful skin and she takes really good care of it. I used it myself. My pores have gotten smaller and my skin has gotten clearer. It’s not just for acne; it’s preventative.”

“Exfoliation is the key element to keep skin looking young and fresh and keeping pores clear. It will also give you a smooth texture. Before you paint the walls, you have to sand them, right?” Jake tells us.

“I get access to the best products but when I’m making recommendations to my mom or sister, often drugstore brands are just as good as luxury brand. Drugstores actually have really liberal return policies, so you can buy five or six shades of foundation and return the ones that don’t work for you.”

“My favorite drugstore products are Rimmel Scandal Eyesmascara, L’Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation, Ardell lashes, Duo lashes, Sally Hansen and La Cross Tweezers.”

We’re so used to seeing Shameless star Emmy Rossum in sexy, cleavage-bearing ensembles that this conservative look took us by surprise. We approve of the new look on the 26-year-old actress. Emmy attended the Lucky Guy Broadway Opening Night on Apr. 1 donning a lovely Temperley London frock from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection.

The ‘Tile Print Crew Neck Dress’ brought out a youthful side of Emmy that we rarely get to see in the spotlight. The feminine dress featured a light blue pattern that looked timeless on the young beauty. A fitted top accentuated her tiny waist, while the flowing skirt fell at her knees for a classic touch. Emmy stuck with minimal jewelry and makeup to go with the middle part and natural waves of her hair. She made up for her subtle accessorizing with a fierce pair of silver pointed heels — and she totally rocked them! The combo of classy and modern was totally appropriate on the stunner.

This isn’t the first time we’ve spotted the star in Temperley London. She attended the Beautiful Creatures panel during ComicCon in NYC at the Jacob Javits Center on Oct. 13 in the same designer, selecting a red Temperley London dress from the 2013 Resort collection that looked as perfect on Emmy as her latest look! It looks like Temperley London is the way to go for our gorgeous gal.

Although most people actually do match their smokey eye to their black dress, the color matching phenomenon doesn’t really hit to us until a star does it. Example: Emmy’s green-tastic beauty look.

Her gorgeous brown eyes look stunning against her green eye makeup. She’s wearing eyeliner on the bottom tear line and shadow on the lid, lightly fading out until just above the crease line.

She finished the look with black mascara, a pink blush and a pretty pink lip. We’re also digging her impeccably groomed eyebrows! Not a hair out of place!

She wore her long brown hair in a french braid ponytail with just a few pieces pulled out in the front. Her braid really brought us back to 1999! Love it.
