The boys of Emblem3 are doing a little sightseeing this summer, and they’ll have Selena Gomez as their tour guide! News broke May 16 that the former X Factor trio – Keaton Stromberg, Wesley Stromberg and Drew Chadwick – will be joining Selena for the North American dates of her Stars Dance World Tour.

The boys of Emblem3 released the following statement about joining the tour:

We’re so psyched to be touring North America and Canada later this year, hitting a bunch of cities our fans haven’t seen us in yet. We’ve been looking to get back out and couldn’t think of anyone more dope than Selena to do it with. Gonna be a fun ride!

Emblem3 Tells Us What They Look For In Girls

HollywoodLife.com got a chance to chat with Emblem3 in April, and we found out what a girl has to do to get their attention.

“Be a shining spirit,” Wesley told us.

We got a slightly more expanded list of criteria from Drew, who said a girl should have a “genuine heart, pure smile,” and be “pure-hearted.” She should also “stand for righteousness, be flexible and do yoga.” You know, the usuals.

Keaton, meanwhile, had one requirement: “Play naked Twister.”

Right.

Are you a fan of the Emblem3 boys? Unless your name is Chloe, I’ve got some bad news: They’re not fans of you! The three-piece boy band, formed on the second season of FOX’s The X Factor, released its new single “Chloe” on April 15, and it’s already stuck in our heads! The track premiered during On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, the birthplace of so many pop hits, and we’ve got a stream of the song for you to enjoy.

In a nutshell, the song is about a girl named Chloe, whom the boys find simply delightful. Chloe apparently has a super-hot sister who catches most guys’ eyes, but the bros of Emblem3 — Wesley Stromberg, 19, Keaton Stromberg, 16, and Drew Chadwick, 20 — only have eyes for Chloe.

It’s poppy, it’s fun, and it couldn’t be released at a more opportune moment. This is going to be all over the radio — and all up in our heads — this summer, for sure.

Emblem3 Tour Details

After a string of sold-out shows featuring new material, the boys of Emblem3 announced their first official tour — the Goin’ Back 2 Cali fan road trip — which began at NYC’s Highline Balroom on April 12.

HollywoodLife.com was in attendance for the kick-off concert, and we were pretty impressed with the boys’ performances. Wes’ drumming, Drew’s rapping, Keaton’s bass-ing… it was all very, very good. We liked that the boys shows off their softer side, as they got intimate with their fans.

And this is only the beginning; we see big things in Emblem3′s future!

Everybody’s favorite boy band from last season’s X Factor, Emblem3, made hundreds of girls happy April 12 with some killer songs and an intimate meet-and-greet. Wesley Stromberg played a djembe drum while singing lead vocals, Keaton Stromberg backed him up on the bass, and Drew Chadwick played lead guitar… while skillfully rapping like a pro! The boys sat on stools on stage and opened with the song that introduced them to the world: “Sunset Blvd.”

Emblem3′s Concert: Wesley Jokes On Stage

After the band’s beautiful performance of Sunset Blvd, lead singer Wesley joked about the rainy weather in the city.

“Hey guys, were you guys out there singing ‘stand under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh eh’?” he asked.

The crowd joyfully jumped in and started singing the Rihanna song with him. They then went on to belt out “One Day,” another song from their X Factor collection.

‘X Factor’ Boy Band Album Coming Soon

The boy band is signed to a label, but Emblem3′s freshman album won’t be released until later this year. If we were to guess what the album would sound like, we’d predict lots of heart-melting love songs. Wesley told the swooning girls in the audience that, if their names are Chloe, then Emblem3′s new single is for them.

Emblem3 is really blowing up! After their west coast shows sold out quickly, the boys decided to add extra concerts on the other coast. Now may be your only chance to see them before they become the next One Direction!

Emblem3: Simon Cowell’s Next Big Boy Band

The cool teen trio, consisting of brothers Wesley and Keaton Stromberg and Drew Chadwick, won us and the nation over when they lit The X Factor up with their energetic performances.

Simon Cowell, who mentored the group while they were on The X Factor and subsequently signed them to his label Syco, was drawn to the band’s pop/rock mix, their SoCal coolness, and obviously their potential to be massive heartthrobs.

“Wesley, Drew and Keaton are complete stars. They have a great attitude, are fun and genuinely love music,” Simon said after signing the group.

Remember that Britney Spears fell in love with the boys as well, and even told them to “take a bow” when they were eliminated.

Emblem3′s First Headlining Tour

Emblem3 is already experience huge demand, and to satisfy it they announced on Feb. 26 that they will be making stops in several big east coast cities. Simon definitely knows a sensation when he sees one!

Simon Cowell was shocked when his group Emblem3 was eliminated on The X Factor, but he must have faith in the band because he has signed them to a recording deal with Syco Music and Columbia Records. They will release their debut album sometime in 2013. We can’t wait!

The band, which consists of brothers Wesley, 19, and Keaton Stromberg, 16, and their childhood friend Drew Chadwick, 20, is already in the studio recording their album!

The album will be a collaborative process with some of the best names in the music business like Savan Kotecha, Carl Falk, Kool Kojak, Rami Yacoub and many more — producers and songwriters who have worked with One Direction, Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha. 

Welsey Speaks Out On The Signing News

Wesley says in a press release: “With our new teammates at Columbia and Syco and along with Savan, I hope we can not only produce some empowering tunes, but also impact other people in a positive way and maybe help brighten things up a bit. Music is all we’ve ever wanted to do — and this is what we love to do.”

“Simon Cowell was an excellent mentor and we were proud to have him as ours. We hope to keep a good relationship alive with him not only as business partners but as friends,” he added.

Simon, who founded Syco Music, says, “Wesley, Drew and Keaton are complete stars. They have a great attitude, are fun and genuinely love music. They deserve this and I’m really pleased we are continuing working together.”

Tate Stevens reigns victorious after his X Factor win on Dec. 20, but he’s not the only contestant with a big and bright future before him, as judge Simon Cowell has revealed plans to sign the runners-up Carly Rose Sonenclar, Fifth Harmony and Emblem3. Hooray! Read on to hear about Simon’s plans for the three acts, and how his “biggest priority” is Emblem3.

Simon’s Plans

While the runners-up may have failed to win the coveted prize of the $5 million record deal, that doesn’t mean that they will be going home empty-handed. HollywoodLife.com previously reported that Simon was planning to sign both Emblem3 and Fifth Harmony to Syco, and it looks like we were correct! A formal announcement will be made in early 2013.

“Simon is determined to prove that he can find the next big girl group in America,” a source tells Examiner.com. “He missed out on a chance to sign the Spice Girls and he’s regretted it ever since. Little Mix [2011 winner of The X Factor U.K.] might not have crossover success in America, so he’s hoping Fifth Harmony can fill what he likes to call ‘the gap in the market’ for a superstar all-female pop group.”

We have no doubt that Fifth Harmony will go on to have huge success! Interestingly, though, Simon is most invested in the boy band Emblem3.

Plans for Emblem3

“Emblem3 has always been Simon’s biggest priority out of this year’s contestants. He thinks Emblem3 can be as big as Hanson was in the late ’90s. And with Carly Rose, [Simon] Cowell wants to use a marketing strategy that was similarly used for Jackie Evancho, who’s been very successful for Syco. Carly’s first album will be more pop than Jackie’s music.”

How cool! However, Syco is not the only one who wants to sign the boys:

“Epic and Columbia both want Emblem3,” reveals the insider. “L.A. Reid is hot to sign Emblem3, but don’t count out [Columbia Records], because Columbia has One Direction. Syco has an interesting dilemma on which label to choose.”

Emblem3‘s Wesley Stromberg may not have walked away with a $5 million recording contract, but it appears as though he may have found a girlfriend while participating on The X Factor.

PopCandiesTV caught up with Wesley as he was walking down the street with a mystery brunette. The girl in question, which we later find out is a dancer from the show, covers her face from the camera as Wesley gladly stops to take pictures with some fans.

After laughing off walking into a dead end, Wesley says the word “f**k” and then stops to take some photos.

Two female fans tell Wesley he’s “so hot” and after taking a set of photos, ask the Emblem3 hottie if the girl is a friend or a “friend.” Yes, they threw up some air quotes.

Wesley says, “She’s a friend of mine. Yeah, just friends. She dances on the show, and we’re just gonna have fun.” Noticing his “friend” is not interested in the conversation, and still hiding her face, Wesley parts ways with the fans.

It’s only a matter of time before Emblem3 becomes as big as One Direction. Simon Cowell revealed that he hopes to sign the boy band in the near future. In turn, Wesley’s dating life will become more popular as the days go by. We hope this new girl is comfortable with that!

Simon Cowell loves to stay in business with X Factor acts he finds talented, even if they don’t ultimately win America’s vote. When his boy band phenomenon Emblem3 was axed from the competition on Dec. 13, the boys may have felt like it was the end of the road for them — but Simon had already told reporters he had big plans for them!

Speaking with reporters backstage after the Dec. 6 results show, Simon was asked if the group would be signed, in some capacity, to the music mogul’s record label after the show reached its end. He replied, “I think there’s a pretty good chance. I’m not going to let anyone else get them. There will be some pretty big announcements at the end of the show.”

With the show ending tomorrow, Dec. 20, Simon only has two more chances to hold true to his word and make a big announcement on live TV!

Emblem3′s Choice To Win

After the boys were cut from the game, they opened up to reporters about who they felt would take the top prize, throwing their support behind the competition’s only male artist left. Drew Chadwick, one third of the group, explained why he was rooting for Tate Stevens.

“Tate is a little older and is amazing. He has been playing music for a long time and is a family man with a great heart. He has pure intentions and is a good guy. I feel like he really deserves it. He needs a break and I love him. I love Carly [Rose Sonenclar] and Fifth Harmony, but I think he is the most deserving. That’s why he’s doing it right now and why he does it — he can’t hide it. This would make his life. He’s awesome and a great guy, so he deserves it.”
