And the Bad Teacher star admits that she’s extremely happy, even though people, like her fans and the media, assume otherwise.

“People are always asking me, ‘Do you want to get married? Do you want to have children?’ My family doesn’t ask me that,” she tells Elle. ”They don’t put that on me. They never have. They know that if I want to get married, I’ll do it. They don’t think I’m out there, stranded, without what I want.”

“They see me as active in my life, balancing everything that’s important to me, and if that’s part of what I want, at any point in my life – and who knows, it might be in the future – then that’ll be that.”

This is awkward. We all know tiny diva extraordinaire Suri Cruise, 4, is her mom Katie Holmes‘ biggest fashion critic. But who knew that 2½-year-old Sunday Rose Urban was the same way with her mama, Nicole Kidman! (Yes, so you make the connection — Sunday’s mom used to be married to Suri’s dad.)

Sunday loves makeup — just like Suri!

“Sunday Rose has a very strong opinion on what I will be wearing the night of the Oscars,” Nicole, 43, says at the Academy Awards Nominations luncheon today, Feb. 7. “It could be a tutu, fingers crossed.” Oddly enough, Katie, 32, said almost the same thing about her mini fashionista, Suri!

“She’ll really tell me [what she thinks],” says Katie about in the February issue of Elle magazine. “Like today I’m wearing brown suede pants, and she said, ‘I don’t like your pants.’ But then she’ll say, ‘You’ve got to wear these shoes.’ Or ‘That’s so pretty, Mom. Wear that.’ She’s got a great eye.” Do the girls dress their dads, Keith Urban and Tom Cruise, too?!

Katie says that her 4-year-old “has a great eye” when it comes to fashion and can spot cute dresses from a mile away. Would you let your kid tell you what to wear?

I have a feeling Suri Cruise is going to end up going into showbiz like her parents, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. But, if she decides to choose a more low-profile career, being a personal shopper or stylist could be her calling. According to Katie, her little lady has an eagle eye for fashion. “She’ll really tell me [what she thinks],” says Katie about her 4-year-old in the February issue of Elle magazine. “Like today I’m wearing brown suede pants, and she said, ‘I don’t like your pants.’ But then she’ll say, ‘You’ve got to wear these shoes.’ Or ‘That’s so pretty, Mom. But Suri isn’t satisfied just dressing her mommy. Nope — she is a knack for finding the perfect outfit for herself, also. “The other day we came out of a store, and she said, ‘I want to go there,’ pointing at another store quite a distance away. In that store was the dress that she wanted. I said, ‘Wow, Suri. You’re something. You picked that out from a football field away,” Katie, 32, tells the magazine.

Considering that Tom, 48, and Katie’s darling daughter’s closet is already jam-packed with millions of dollars worth of couture kiddie clothes, I really doubt she needed another dress. But being the tiny star that she is, it would be a shame to be caught wearing the same thing twice.
