While Kanye West‘s venture into fashion design has been received with mixed reviews, it looks like the celeb set is finally coming around and embracing the Fall 2012 collection! Elle Macpherson went for a very biker-chic look when she was seen out sporting a Fall 2012 Kanye West ‘DW’ Collection Biker Jacket which features a silver zipper and belted bottom.

Interestingly enough, Elle is the first celeb seen wearing the new line — aside from Kanye’s girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, who proudly supports her man!

The sexy supermodel paired her leather jacket with Roberto Cavalli cropped leather pants and a white Juilen Macdonald shirt — and she totally rocked this biker look! As for accessories, she choose to accompany the edgy get-up with some sexy shades and two-tone Giuseppe Zanotti pumps. She finished off this black-and-white ensemble with a matching Pierre Hardy printed clutch and looked so totally chic!

Jessica Simpson‘s baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson decided May Day was a good time to be born, and some of Hollywood’s biggest stars agree! Many of Jessica’s A-list friends are sending her well wishes on Twitter — check out what they have to say.

“Finally! @JessicaSimpson is at the hospital having her baby! Good luck jess #PUSH,” tweeted radio host Ryan Seacrest this morning when Jessica was in labor. When baby Max finally did arrive, Ryan couldn’t contain his excitement.

“She’s arrived! @JessicaSimpson gave birth to baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson! 9lbs 13oz.” he tweeted.

Ryan wasn’t the only one, stars all over Hollywood have taken to Twitter to wish Jessica well!

“@JessicaSimpson had a baby girl! Welcome to the world, Maxwell Drew! I guess she’s naming her second baby Ellen,” tweeted talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

As seen in the NBC preview, Fashion Star — hosted by Elle Macpherson — isn’t just a competition for the designers. Buyers from H&M, Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue will also be battling it out for their favorite looks — and in an interesting twist, the viewers will be able to purchase the chosen designs the day after each episode!

Jessica Simpson is expanding her fashion empire to TV—and moving in on Tim Gunn‘s territory!

The singer-actress-fashion designer, 30, has been tapped by NBC to serve as the “celebrity mentor” on its upcoming reality TV series Fashion Star,  in which a group of 14 designers compete to create and launch their own clothing collection.

Supermodel Elle Macpherson will host and executive produce the show, which has no debut date yet.

Jessica’s past reality TV show credits include 2005′s The Newlyweds, which is widely credited for putting strain on her marriage to ex-husband Nick Lachey, and VH1′s The Price of Beauty, which aired last year.

Paul Telegdy, NBC Universal’s Executive Vice President of Alternative Programming, said of Simpson, “With an almost billion dollar lifestyle brand under her belt she is sure to be an excellent mentor to our up-and-coming designers.”

And Ben Silverman, the head of Fashion Star‘s studio Electus, adds “Jessica Simpson has built an incredible fashion business and is a perfect mentor to our aspiring designers. She will complement the buyers, Elle Macpherson and amazing format.”
