It looks like Harry Styles wasn’t the only One Direction member getting kisses this week! Niall Horan was gifted with a big wet one by none other than Dustin Hoffman on the Dec. 7 episode of The Late Show With David Letterman!

Niall’s kiss came immediately after the boys entered the Ed Sullivan Theater. Dustin followed them onstage, but found no extra room on the couch, so the actor cozied up to Niall.

It appeared as though Dustin put his hand between his lips and Niall’s, but there’s a chance his hand may have slipped! Either way, Niall seemed pleased and for once, millions of teenage girls are jealous of Dustin Hoffman.

The boys followed up the kiss with a sexy performance of their hit single “Little Things.”

I was able to attend the Las Vegas premiere of the new HBO Original Series, LUCK at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on January 26th. The new show from acclaimed director Michael Mann and creator of Deadwood David Milch at first made me not sure how to react to a show about the behind-the-track world of horse racing.

The owners, gamblers and jockeys are all looked at in a light never really portrayed on television before, but if it has legendary actors the likes of Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte then something was right about this show before I even laid eyes on one second of it. But when I did I was pleasantly surprised to be taken into a world that I really knew nothing about but now am fascinated with. Horse racing is much more then a thing you gamble on every once in a while.

Without partaking in any spoilers of the show, the hidden gem is actor Richie Coster who plays the character of Renzo. I already have him on pace to winning a Golden Globe, an Emmy and any other award he can get his hands on. His portrayal of an unemployed gambler who uses his social security for his gambling addiction is unlike anything you have ever seen on television. So what are you waiting for, start watching LUCK right now!

It sounds like it was all Dustin’s idea… but funny man Jason was more than happy to play along!

Jason Bateman shared a surprise kiss with Dustin Hoffman at a Lakers game June 3, and we’ve been dying to talk to the Arrested Development funny man about what really went down ever since. We got our wish June 9 at the Digitas Digital Newfront Conference in NYC, when Jason told HollywoodLife.com all about the infamous lip lock. “I’m the big winner there because I got to kiss a legend,” Jason, 41, told us exclusively.

“It was certainly a happy place to be that night!” he said of the basketball court’s romantic ambience.

So whose idea was it to share a man-kiss for all the world to see? It sounds like it was Dustin’s, as Jason said the 72-year-old Academy Award-winner leaned in to kiss him.

“He has soft lips,” Jason added to reporters.

Normally we’d say “TMI” to that one, Jason… but we loved the stunt kiss way too much!

Our jaws dropped when we saw Miley Cyrus‘ multiple girl-on-girl kisses during two recent performances — but Miley, 17, is hardly the only big-time celeb whose shocking smooches have made recent headlines. Why, just last night at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards we saw two major stunt kisses, one from Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson, and another from Jonah Hill and Russell Brand. What the heck is going on in Hollywood? It seems like stars, both big and small, are willing to do whatever (and kiss whomever) it takes to get some attention!

“If you’re a woman of substance you don’t need to stoup to that lowest common denominator behavior,” says host of Cosmo radio’s ‘Wake Up With Taylor’ Sirius 111 and XM 162, Taylor Strecker. “But this media kiss is like a whole different beast … it’s totally negative attention.”

We’ve seen it on TV (James Franco pretty much kissed the entire cast of Saturday Night Live) and we’ve seen it in public (we’re still reeling over Jason Bateman and Dustin Hoffman‘s court side kiss last week.) But never before have we seen it in such ridiculously large numbers! But why are these big-name, female celebs doing this?

“Sandra, she just won an Oscar, then the whole scandal broke with Jesse James,” says Taylor. “America loves her right now so it makes NO sense … why did she even agree to do it?  It’s like the bad things we do after a break up!”

The Star Trek star met the Material Girl at Grey Goose’s pre-Oscar party at Soho House in West Hollywood March 4, and it was love at first sight.

“It was unreal! Madonna and Zachary were introduced and talked outside locked in conversation for about thirty minutes before the outer area got shut down at midnight,” one partygoer tells HollywoodLife.com. “Then, they went inside and talked for ANOTHER hour! Madonna’s posse left after that, and his followed right after, as if they were taking off to hang out somewhere else.”

But should Madonna’s sometimes paramour, Jesus Luz, be worried? No way, says our source. “It wasn’t sexual, but they were very interested in what the other had to say!”

While Her Madgesty and Dr. Spock were becoming new pals, Ryan Phillippe lurked around on his cell phone, a clean-shaven Joaquin Phoenix hung out with Emile Hirsch, Elton John held court like a king with Kelly Osbourne and Dustin Hoffman, Jason Bateman and Ed Norton shared a booth, chatting for hours and Jennifer Lopez had a night out on the town with her hubby, Marc Anthony.
