Gleeks and non-Gleeks alike have been buzzing about Lindsay Lohan‘s cameo on an upcoming episode of Glee ever since our sister site TVLine first broke the news of her casting – but it’s not her acting they’re talking about now. TMZ reports that Dot Marie Jones, who plays McKinley High’s dead-sexy Coach Beiste, tweeted about Lindsay being late to set, then quickly deleted her post.

“Gonna be a long day!!” Dot tweeted. “Some ppl show up late and just throw a wrench in things. Not cool! I’d rather be an hour early (I was) than 5 minutes late!”

Dot’s tweet was quickly removed, leading many to speculate she was referring to Lindsay, but Glee director Eric Stoltz tells the site Lindsay was “very professional.”

Get excited, Gleeks! William McKinley’s new football coach has been told she will have a musical number in an upcoming episode!

Dot-Marie Jones, who plays Sue Sylvester’s new football coach rival, Shannon Beiste, on our favorite show Glee, tells us she’s going to be warming up her vocal chords in the next few weeks – and we couldn’t be more pleased!

“I have been told yes, I am [singing],” the 46-year-old actress told us exclusively at “Best in Drag” Show AIDS Fundraiser in Los Angeles Oct. 24.

Will it be in the upcoming Rocky Horror Picture Show episode? “No, I’m not in it! I wish, I’m so bummed,” she told us, adding, “I’m in the following one.”

Dot-Marie also dished about her best friends on the Glee set. “Jenna [Ushkowitz] and Kevin [McHale] [are my bffs],” she said, laughing, “I mean name em—they’re all great. I love it.”
