Kerry Washington, 36, strutted around the streets of New York City on Jan. 30 in a slew of different ensembles for her interview with Good Morning America. Though she was there to promote her new film Django Unchained, and television hit, Scandal, her outfits totally stole the spotlight.

She sported a totally chic New york look for her actual interview with Lara Spencer. The casual white Wes Gordon short-sleeved sweater made her look approachable and comfortable on set. Her leather A.L.C skirt was the hot piece she needed to spice up the conservative top. A pair of black tights and laced Louboutin heels pulled together the classic look for which she was going.

Kerry impressed us upon exiting ABC studios in an eye-catching L’Agence shift dress. The soft color combo of the dress looked awesome next to the bright turquoise Christian Louboutin pumps. a simple beige Reed Krakoff clutch was the perfect accessory. We love that this fashionista is taking such bold risks with her look.

This last outfit is on the other end of the spectrum compared to her classic Fendi gray tweed dress in which she entered the studio in that morning. She went from strictly business to cute and flirty to party girl right before our eyes!

Kerry Washington never ceases to amaze us with her all of her different looks while on a whirlwind press tour promoting her latest movie, Django Unchained. The lovely gal keeps the unique ensembles comin’ — and we are adoring them all! While it’s hard to choose not one but two amazing ensembles to wear in one day, the 35-year-old pulled off her frock swap flawlessly. The star donned two beautiful dresses on Jan. 8, and we can’t decide which one she looks better in — can you?

Kerry stunned at the Berlin photocall at Hotel de Rome in a white-and-ivory Louis Vuitton frock from the Spring 2013 collection. To match the dress, she donned a white headband with a cute bow, white Christian Louboutin pumps, and a little black Vince Camuto bag. Her side-swept bangs, half-up ‘do and entire ensemble gave her a chic, old-fashioned look. Saying she looks incredible would be an understatement.

On the same day at the CineStar Potsdamer Platz in Germany, Kerry came out wearing a Spring 2012 J. Mendel gown. The sleeveless floral-printed frock features ruffles at the hem and a completely open back. A bright pink lip is the perfect way to bring out the pinks in the dress, and her black clutch accentuates the tiny parts that are black in the print. What an amazing start to 2013! This is only the beginning of her ensembles for premieres and photocalls for the new movie, Django Unchained.

Kerry Washington definitely keeps herself in fantastic shape — and she loves showing it off! While both her photocall and premiere looks in Rome were totally different, they both had one sexy similarity — cutouts!

After showing off a printed Peter Pilotto cutout dress for the photocall, the star ditched her prints and ruffles for a more minimalistic frock, wearing a white Prada Spring 2013 short-sleeve dress for the premiere at the Cinema Adriano in Italy on Jan. 3. While the length and silhouette seemed rather conservative, a sexy cutout that revealed her midriff and a portion of her back broke up the look and added a sexy factor to the get-up.

Kerry kept the look interesting, pairing her white dress with a green Prada clutch that really popped. She finished off te ensemble with a beige pair of Jimmy Choo pumps. The stylish star opted for the same sleek and straight locks that she sported for the photocall but added a bright red lip to her beauty routine.

I’m a huge fan of cutouts, and Kerry shows off the right way to work the trend. While the idea of showing some skin is sexy, the star still keeps it really chic without seeming too showy.

In one day the star managed to show off two totally different looks, really establishing how versatile her sense of style is — and I can’t wait to see what Kerry will wear next!

I couldn’t wait to see what Kerry Washington would wear when she promoted her latest venture, and you certainly couldn’t miss her when she walked the red carpet at the Django Unchained photocall in Rome on Jan. 4 — and it wasn’t just because she was the only lady in attendance! The star showed off a very fashion-forward frock from Peter Pilotto’s Spring 2013 Collection. While the printed dress fit her svelte frame perfectly, there was definitely a lot going on.

Personally, I love the silhouette of the dress. From the high, crisscross halter neck to the cutout at her midriff and the ruffle detailing, I thought it was very flattering on the star — although I could understand why to some the four contrasting graphic patterns probably seem like an eyesore. While the star certainly took a risk on the red carpet, I found myself really loving this look.

Kerry stuck to simple accessories and kept the focus on the frock, however, she added yet another print to her look with her choice of round-toe pumps. I think the way she styled the dress really won me over. From her natural makeup to the way she kept her hair down, she did not look like she was trying too hard — and she has the confidence, (and the body), to pull off this interesting printed dress.

On Dec. 25, theater doors opened for the release of Quentin Tarantino‘s Django Unchained and Tom Hooper‘s Les Misérables, both of which made bank! In the third biggest Christmas day opening ever, Les Mis took in over $18 million, while Django made $15 million. But which film did YOU go see on Christmas? Or did you see both? Les Misérables

As previously reported by HollywoodLife.com, Les Mis is one to go see! The epic story tells the tale of Jean Valjean — portrayed the the brilliant Hugh Jackman – who is a convict desperate to start a new life. He is tormented by the police officer Javert (Russell Crowe), and meets the tragic Fantine (Anne Hathway) and helps raise her daughter Cosette (Amanda Seyfried). There is singing, sadness and some great performances in this movie — did you enjoy it?

Django Unchained

Django shows Leonardo DiCaprio as an evil plantation owner Calvin J. Candie, and Jamie Foxx as Django, a freed slave who is eager to rescue his wife Broomhilda Von Shaft (Kerry Washington) from Calvin’s clutches. This being a Tarantino movie, there is a lot of violence and gore, but it makes the movie all the more exciting! Plus, Christoph Waltz’s performance as the bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz is not to be missed.

Spike Lee has criticized Quentin Tarantino’s work in the past, and now, the director says he’d be disrespecting his ancestors if he were to see the slavery revenge flick Django Unchained. He’s boycotting the movie because he finds it insulting.

“American Slavery Was Not A Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western. It Was A Holocaust. My Ancestors Are Slaves. Stolen From Africa. I Will Honor Them,” Spike wrote on Twitter.

“I can’t speak on it ’cause I’m not gonna see it. I’m not seeing it,” Spike also said in a video interview with VibeTV. ”All I’m going to say is that it’s disrespectful to my ancestors to see that film. That’s the only thing I’m gonna say,” he explained. “I can’t disrespect my ancestors. I can’t do it. Now, that’s me. I’m not speaking on behalf of anybody but myself. I can’t do it.”

Spike Has Criticized Quentin’s Work In The Past

Spike, 55, has criticized Quentin’s work in the past, voicing his disgust for Tarantino’s liberal use of the n-word in Jackie Brown, a 1997 movie starring Samuel L. Jackson.

“I’m not against the word. And some people speak that way. But Quentin, 49, is infatuated with that word,” Spike said of Quentin in an interview with HollywoodLife.com sister company Variety.

“What does he want to be made, an honorary black man?” the Do The Right Thing director asked. “I want Quentin to know that all African-Americans do not think that word is trendy or slick.”

Olivia Wilde stepped out for the NYC premiere of Django Unchained on Dec. 11 at the Ziegfeld Theatre, where the star opted for a daring red carpet get-up. Clad in an A.L.C. jumpsuit, complete with a severely plunging neckline, Olivia went for edgy glamour. Unfortunately the leading lady of the film, Kerry Washington, didn’t turn up for the premiere — but we’re glad Olivia stepped out in something sexy for the occasion!

Blue velvet ostrich print Gio Dev pumps with silver piping, necklaces and a black clutch completed the ensemble. I like how she wore her hair back sticking to the sleek and chic theme — and her dramatic eye makeup added the perfect touch! While Olivia easily pulls off this menswear-inspired get-up, I thought the outfit fell flat on the star. Don’t get me wrong she looks fantastic, but I wish we would’ve seen this look on someone like Kristen Stewart. Lately the star has been totally rocking the red carpet in shorts and jumpsuits, and she’s a major fan of the line — it would’ve been the perfect pairing! KStew has the perfect edgy attitude to really pull off this ensemble, even if it is a plunging black jumpsuit. Since she’s in town for the NYC On The Road premiere I’m excited to see what she’ll wear for the big night.

While Olivia wouldn’t necessarily be my first choice for this outfit, the star almost always looks really polished and put together, and last night was no exception.

Django Unchained is director Quentin Tarantino‘s latest epic, and it is sure to be his most debated film yet. The sprawling tale tells the story of Django (Jamie Foxx), a freed slave who joins forces with bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) to save his wife Broomhilda Von Shaft (Kerry Washington) from the clutches of evil plantation owner Calvin J. Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio). This period piece is Quentin’s finest film yet, and will leave crowds on the edge of their seats. 1) The performances are amazing!

The whole cast is incredible, but Leonardo is a clear standout as the SUPER evil bad guy. It’s a performance that will leave his longtime fans shocked and makes him an obvious contender for an Oscar.

2) The film is a throwback to classic Hollywood!

Quentin set out to make a Spaghetti Western, and Django feels like it could have come straight out of that era. It’s a sprawling tale that fits comfortably alongside the most beloved cowboy movies of the ’60s.

3) There is a ton of humor!

Perhaps you wouldn’t expect jokes from a movie that graphically illustrates the horrors of slavery, but the partnership between Django and Dr. King plays out as a warped buddy cop comedy. The clever ways they go about bounty hunting — and their ability to escape tight situations with racist locals — brings some light moments to what could have been a suffocating film.

4) The action is incredible!

It wouldn’t be a Tarantino movie without some gunfights and absurd violence, and this film doesn’t disappoint. The action is not for the squeamish, but even the most seasoned action movie fans will be on the edge of their seat during the film — especially during a massive showdown near the film’s end.

5) The soundtrack is so unique!

Quentin loves to experiment with music in his movies, and even though this movie is set in the 1800s, contemporary artists like Rick Ross and John Legend feel right at home with wild west-themed contributions.
