Mel Gibson and ex-wife, Robyn, have settled their divorce case after years apart it appears, with everything finally being divided between them. TMZ reports, “Robyn Gibson’s lawyer, disso-queen Laura Wasser, appeared before the judge this morning and announced Mel and Robyn have reached full agreement on the terms of their divorce … in particular, the property settlement.” The question is, did Robyn walk away with $500 million?

The terms of Mel and Robyn’s divorce have long been discussed, given how massive his estate is and the fact that she is entitled to half his earnings under California law! Mel filed divorce papers in April of 2009, this after the couple had already been apart for years, but the divorce is just now being finalized. Was money the big hurdle?

Mel is worth to close to a billion dollars according to most reports, largely due to his investment in his film The Passion of the Christ. Beyond that, his 30 year Hollywood career has seen him star in numerous blockbuster films despite his recent personal troubles.

The two, who were married in 1980, have no pre-nup so Robyn seems entitled to half of Mel’s wealth, listed as $850 million dollars in 2006. Since then he has gone on to release another film, Apocalypto, for which he received a majority of the profits. Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller have settled their nasty divorce, and Charlie, 45, will have to open his wallet every month big-time to support their kids!

The settlement requires that “under no circumstances shall the child support paid by Charlie for Bob and Max be less than the child support paid by Charlie to Denise Richards for Sam and Lola,” according to TMZ.com, which obtained details on the deal.

Bob and Max, who are 2, were the subject of Brooke, 33, and Charlie’s drawn-out custody battle. His other kids, daughters Sam, 7, and Lola, 5, live with Charlie’s former wife Denise.

Charlie has agreed to pay Brooke $55,000 a month for child support, give her a lump sum of $757,698 — and another $1 million, which represents her share of the family house in LA that Charlie gets to continue living in. No bad for a marriage that didn’t last three years.

Charlie has five kids from his three marriages. So the onetime star of Two And A Half Men needs to keep working!
