Diane von Furstenberg
There’s almost never been a more important time than now for the ultimate power woman, Diane von Furstenberg, to make a statement about the strength, sophistication and savvy of women. And she did it brilliantly in her Spring 2016 collection.
When Diane von Furstenberg made her post-show appearance to thunderous applause after the showing off her Spring 2016 collection, she made a fabulously bold statement. She confidently strode down the entire runway, hands in the air, full of joy and confidence.
Finally! Diane Von Furstenberg has broken her silence after feeling the heat from angry social media users, who have attacked the fashion designer for posting a manipulated photo of Bruce Jenner wearing a dress.
We’re sure she meant well! Diane von Furstenberg, 68, was unfairly torched by unkind remarks on the internet after posting a Photoshopped image of Bruce Jenner, 65, wearing a dress. Her accompanying words to the post were sweet, but the hailstorm of negative reactions forced Diane to quickly delete the photo from Instagram. Now, the House of DVF star has spoken out. See what she had to say!
Hooray for Diane, who understands the style needs of 2015’s working woman as well as she did in 1974, the year she first gave the world her famous wrap dress.
It’s been 41 years since American women first fell in love with the Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress and ironically, that dress is just as perfect today as it was then. While the world has changed in many ways, America’s working women have come full circle in their style needs.

The major supermodel surprised everyone as she sashayed down DVF’s runway, closing the Spring 2014 show, while a slew of stylish stars sat in the front row of the show!
Diane von Furstenberg‘s Sunday show always feels like a party, and the Spring 2014 collection was no exception. Held at Lincoln Center during New York Fashion Week on Sept. 8, the star-studded front row included everyone from Allison Williams to Jessica Alba, Andy Cohen, and Bella Thorne — to name a few. The show began with Robin Thicke‘s “Blurred Lines” while major models Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, Karen Elson, and Karlie Kloss strutted their stuff — but nothing could compare to the surprise at the end of the show, when Naomi Campbell herself closed the show. “Life Is A Party,” was the theme of Diane Von Furstenberg‘s Fall 2013 collection, and the runway show appropriately felt more like a party than a fashion show, with disco music blaring while the models emerged from a cloud of smoke. The packed house was transported back to Studio 54, while Cara Delevingne was the first model to emerge, sauntering down the catwalk to “Love to Love You Baby.” If anyone knows how to define effortless glamour it’s definitely DVF, and her latest collection was no exception. Her signature vibrant prints ruled the runway, as did a burst of bright colors and sexy, flowing gowns.

It seems each fashion week season the inspiration keeps coming from farther and farther back in time, and now we have reached the swinging 60s!
The vintage trend began with a dive back into the 80s with skinny jeans, and should pads in everything. Then it was off to the 70s with super flared bell bottoms and fringed vests. And now the fashion world has landed in the 60’s and let’s say the decade is looking better than ever!
It seems like there’s only one designer that can get Barbara to the tents!
On Feb. 13, (day four of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center), we started to see some new faces in the front row — including Barbara Walters! “I don’t go to many shows,” the 81-year-old journalist told us, while sitting in her front row seat waiting for the Diane von Furstenberg fall 2011 show to begin.
The supermodel spilled on how she put her look together with special help from Diane von Furstenberg — the designer even lent her a super personal accessory!
Molly Sims may have looked totally put together last night at the CFDA Awards in NYC, but it turns out her dress was doing double duty! The model told us her fun little frock was featured in the Diane von Furstenberg 2011 resort show earlier that day! “It was just in the DVF resort show,” she said. ‘It’s so comfortable, it’s the easiest dress I’ve ever worn.” Molly paired her get-up with sparkling Christian Louboutin pumps and a cushion ring and crystal tassel earrings the model designed for her Grayce by Molly Sims collection — but her standout accessory was definitely something special, courtesy of Diane herself!
