Dia Frampton is known for her beautiful voice but it’s hard to ignore her gorgeous good looks as well! The Voice singer posted a new album called “Time Travel” on Facebook today, from a shoot with her friend Daniel Silbert. Dia just wrapped up touring with her fellow Voice contestants and she’s also working on a new album. In fact she’s already signed with a record company!

Dia has reportedly signed with Universal Republic as a solo artist and her album is expected to be released this fall. Dia recently tweeted that she’s in Nashville writing songs. We can’t wait to hear what she has coming up for us!

‘The Voice’ tour kicks off tonight and in honor of our favorite contestants returning to the stage we’d like to know which of the top two finalists sings ‘Landslides’ better: winner Javier Colon or runner-up Dia Frampton? Vote!

Javier Colon and Dia Frampton, two of America’s favorites from the first season of The Voice, are taking the stage tonight for their first Voice tour performances. The last time we saw Javier, who won the entire competition, he was singing an incredibly touching rendition of “Landslide” with Stevie Nicks herself. We stumbled across a cover Dia has on YouTube of “Landslide”, as well as a video of Javier singing the song sans Stevie. But without factoring in the duet with Ms. Nicks herself we thought we’d ask — who sings it better?

In a perfect world, we’d love to see Dia and Javier sing this song together. After The Voice finale Dia even said she’d love to sing it with Javier, although she joked it might be a disappointment compared to that night’s performance and said he would ask “Where’s Stevie?”

It would be completely unfair to pit Javier and Dia against each other if we were using the Javier/Stevie version, so watch Javier going solo on the song with his guitar, and Dia doing the same. Dia Frampton absolutely loved working with Miranda Lambert on The Voice! “She was so awesome. No ego,” Dia tells TVLine.com.

“She was completely the opposite of what you’d expect [from a big star]. I was expecting her to say, ‘Let’s do this. And I want to wear this. And I want to sing it this way,’” Dia explains of Miranda.

“Instead, she was like, ‘What color dress are you wearing? I want to match you. What song do you want to do? I think this one might be cool for you voice but if you want to do something else, that’s cool. I’ll send you some songs — if you want to change the arrangement, I won’t be offended, I’ll be excited. Do it your way,’” Dia adds.

In fact, the duet may be her most memorable experience from her time on The Voice. “Singing with her was my favorite thing on the entire show. Next to Blake’s duet, it was something that I was trying really hard not to cry the whole time I was singing with her.”

Dia Frampton is in the midst of launching her singing career to new heights after her stint on The Voice. She sat down for an interview with our sister site TVLine.com and spoke about her future career and how scary it was to perform her own rendition “Heartless” for the first time. She also chatted about American Idol‘s Kris Allen again!

A month ago, Dia told HollywoodLife.com she hadn’t heard Kris Allen’s famous rendition of “Heartless” which he performed on Idol. She said she’d only listend to The Fray’s version. TVLine.com asked her about the Idol contestant’s season 8 performance and Dia answered, “Honestly, I still don’t know who Kris Allen is. I haven’t watched ‘Idol’ since Kelly Clarkson’s year, when I was a lot younger.”

She explains why she chose the Kanye West song to cover, “I wanted to slow down a hip-hop or R&B song, and “Heartless” was the best choice because of its lyrics; you can play with them. They’re still so emotional. It’s not like slowing down a Snoop Dogg song or something.” Dia played hers on the piano, while Kris had performed it with his guitar, which was her original intention. “I first started playing “Heartless” on the acoustic guitar, and Blake was the one who wanted to switch it up,” explains Dia, who reiterates that Blake Shelton introduced her to The Fray’s cover, from which she drew inspiration. “I was happy to do it, to get a little creative.”

Before Dia performed “Heartless” she was known for being part of the uncomfortable Serabee duet in the battle rounds. Did Dia know her Kanye cover would be a game-changer? “I didn’t know how anybody would take it. I liked it, but it’s scary to wonder what other people will think. I’m kind of eclectic and I like weird things, and on a lot of these types of shows, people want to hear someone belting out a Celine song,” confesses the singer. “The thing is, “Heartless” had to be changed. I don’t rap, obviously, and it was so not my style, the Kanye West way.”

Dia also said she doesn’t know if a deal with Universal Republic is imminent, but reveals she’s focusing on playing and writing at the moment. We’re sure she’ll continue to gain momentum and success, and can’t wait for a new album!

Dia Frampton first won me over with her original rendition of Kanye’s ‘Heartless’ and she continues to amaze me with her covers of Adele, Zac Brown Band and many others!

I have to confess something. I miss Dia Frampton. It’s only been a few days since The Voice ended but I’m already wishing her first solo album was available and listening to “Inventing Shadows” on repeat. To tide me over until she’s done recording it (get on that, Dia!) I decided to compile my favorite YouTube covers she’s done of various artists like Taylor Swift, Adele, Rascal Flatts and more!

Dia takes to her guitar and her piano in these homemade videos that are simple but touching. Her pure and distinguishable voice is the driving force behind her songs, her vocal chords need no editing. The videos were filmed at what looks like a combinations of houses/apartments/hotels, and feature Dia, uploaded under her band Meg and Dia‘s handle on YouTube. How cute is she stealing glances and quick smiles at the camera?
