Kelly Rowland,31, joined her former girl group members, Beyonce and Michelle Williams on stage during the Super Bowl Pepsi half time show for a gigantic Destiny’s Child reunion that wowed the crowd.
We were so excited to see the trio together again during Beyonce’s Super Bowl XLVII halftime show, sponsored by Pepsi, on Feb. 3 in New Orleans at the Super Dome. Queen Bey stole the spotlight in a custom-made leather get-up — and she wasn’t the only gal on stage that wowed the crowd in a sexy leather look!

All three divas dressed in barely-there black leather outfits that allowed the stars to put their fantastic figures on full displau. Kelly was spotted wearing a hip-hugging custom leather bodysuit by Emilio Pucci. The bodysuit had a plunging, deep-v neckline with a zipper that really enhanced her assets. She paired her bodacious curves with Proenza Schouler ankle boots, fingerless gloves, tights, and black over-the-knee socks. She finished off the show-stopping get-up with a smokey black eye lids and pale pink lips, while her hair was straight, with blunt-cut bangs framing her face.

There’s no denying the fact that Sunday marked a very stylish Super Bowl, with stars showing off everything from bold bodysuits to glam gowns. Not only did Queen Bey totally own the stage, but Alicia Keys looked seriously sexy in a red Alia mermaid gown. Jennifer Hudson also flaunted her figure in leather, but her long-sleeved bodysuit and pencil-skirt-combo wasn’t as revealing as the Destiny’s Child costumes. Beyonce reuniting on stage with Destiny’s Child was by far the best part of the Super Bowl Sunday halftime show! Beyonce not only thanked Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams in a letter which she posted on her Tumbler page, but she also posted the adorable pic of her jumping with excitement with her besties!

Beyonce posted the pic of her with her Destiny’s Child besties and it’s just so awesome! But then the 31-year-old posted one of her hand written notes that read: “What a proud day for AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN!!!!! Kelly, Michelle, Alicia, Jhud. You are all beautiful, talented and showed so much class! It was an honour to perform at the Super Bowl with you phenomenal ladies. Love Beyonce.”

Right after the performance, Kelly put up a pic of Beyonce running into the arms of her rapper husband Jay-Z.

Beyonce Gets Twitter Buzzing After Halftime Show

Beyonce was under so much scrutiny after her lip syncing fiasco at President Obama’s Inauguration but it’s clear the First Lady didn’t mind because Michelle Obama tweeted: “Watching the #SuperBowl with family & friends. @Beyonce was phenomenal! I am so proud of her! -mo”

Demi Lovato wrote: “Y’all can keep watching the game but I think it’s safe to say Beyonce just won the Super Bowl.”

It turns out more that 5.5. million tweets were sent about Beyonce during the Super Bowl, talking about coming out on top!

Beyonce gave a show-stopping performance during the Pepsi Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 3, where she reunited with Destiny’s Child and performed an entire medley of songs!

The show began with smoke, fans swarming the stage and fire shooting up everywhere!

Beyonce, 31, who wore a sexy leather getup, started her electrifying performance with “Crazy In Love,” “End Of Time” and “Baby Boy,” before she reunited with Destiny’s Child for a medley of songs that made them a household name.

Destiny’s Child Reunites For Super Bowl XLVII

Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams reunited with Beyonce on stage during the halftime performance — shooting up from under the stage (so cool)! Though we already confirmed the ladies of Destiny’s Child would be there for the performance (We told you first!), it was still a shock to see Beyonce and the girls back together again!

The girls performed  ”Bootylicious” and “Independent Women,” before they all sang Beyonce’s hit “Single Ladies.” As the song came to a close, Beyonce thanked the girls and asked the audience to “give it up” for them.

Beyonce then went solo again, finishing up “Single Ladies” by her lonesome. “Halo” then followed before Beyonce thanked the crowd for this moment.

Even though Beyonce said there would be a surprise announcement after her performance, Beyonce left the stage without saying anything about an upcoming tour or album.

It may have been the worst kept secret in Hollywood, but now it’s official — Destiny’s Child is back! Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams will reunite on stage during the Super Bowl halftime show sponsored by Pepsi on Feb. 3.

NFL cheerleader Courtney Labat may not be on Beyonce’s good side right now because she allegedly confirmed the rumors.

While Courtney, who will be performing with Beyonce, 31, during the halftime show, was out and about, she was sneakily asked if rehearsals with Kelly, 31, and Michelle, 32, were going well.

“Yeah, they’ve been awesome. We were actually able to see the show yesterday,” she said, seemingly unaware that the reunion was a big secret!

Plus, Kelly was photographed in New Orleans on Feb. 1, further fueling the speculation. And Twitter user, @cnoellashow, tweeted, “Michelle Williams is soooo skinny!! She hugged me!! Kelly is gorg! Beyoncé & I was eye to eye. Pure beauty!!”

On top of these sightings and the cheerleader’s confession, a source close to the situation confirms to HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “It’s true. Destiny’s Child will be performing together during the Super Bowl halftime show.”

“The Super Bowl is meant to be a reflection of your entire career, where you came from and where you are going,” a source close to the singer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “For Beyoncé, she wants to show the best in herself and what she still has to offer with the element of the past leading to the future.”

“It seemed to her that it wasn’t right to have this grand stage without the help from the girls she loves and grew up with both professionally in the group and as friends. She would have it no other way and is super excited over the reunion.”

Destiny’s Child, with its members being Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, was a pop culture phenom and the group literally blew up in the late part of  2000. “Independent Women Part 1,” which was released as a single in October 2000, spent eleven consecutive weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100 from November 2000 to January 2001. Simply impressive!

In 2005, the group announced, in front of 16,000 fans in Barcelona, Spain, that they were breaking up to pursue solo projects.

Who knew that January of 2013 would be the month of Destiny’s Child? Just one day after the announcement that the fabulous trio — Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams — were reuniting to release a compilation album entitled Love Songs at the end of the month, the disc’s lone new track, “Nuclear,” made its way online on Jan. 11!

“Nuclear” may not live up to its fiery title, but it is a gorgeous, slow-burning R&B track that is very fitting with Love Songs‘ ballad theme. The new song was produced by Pharrell and was co-written by Michelle, 32, herself! It’s slinky, sexy, and totally bedroom-ready.

Destiny’s Child Reunion At Super Bowl XLVII?

With Beyoncé’s unexpected announcement of a reunited DC on Jan. 10, we began to speculate over whether Kelly, 31, and Michelle would join her on stage during her halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3. According to a new report by Us Weekly, that’s the plan!

A source tells the magazine that Beyoncé, 31, will open the show alone, before being joined by Kelly and Michelle for a medley of Destiny’s Child greatest hits. After that, the ladies will reportedly perform their brand-new track.

The source adds that Kelly and Michelle will then leave the stage to allow Beyoncé to take over, solo. She’s reportedly expected to perform a new song from her as-yet-untitled fifth album!

Destiny’s Child Reuniting After Eight Years Apart

It’s hard to believe it’s been eight years since Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle have put out new music as a group — and yet, it really has been that long.

Beyoncé used her official website to announced the news Jan. 10, writing, “I am so proud to announced the first original Destiny’s Child music in eight years.”

Kelly “Kelendria” Rowland also shared a few words, via Twitter: “Hi guys! I’m happy to announce new music from Destiny’s Child in eight years!”

Michelle also (sort of) chimed in with her thoughts, tweeting a link to her Facebook page, where a generic description of the Love Songs album could be found.

(Not for nothing, but you’d think the three of them would have more to say about their reunion, or at least would seem more excited about the album. Fans are freaking out!)
