The doting daddy had some fun in the sun in France on July 31 with his daughter Ava and son Oscar. What a terrific trio!

Not only is Hugh Jackman a hunk, but he’s an amazing father too! The Wolverine star looked as “jacked” as ever on the beaches of St. Tropez, France with his family. First he hit the waves with his adorable 5-year-old daughter Ava and then joined 11-year-old son Oscar for some rough housing in the surf. Too cute!

Hugh and his wife of 15 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, adopted both Oscar and Ava after they struggled to conceive. And let me tell you, this is one of our favorite families — Hugh was meant to be a dad!

“My son’s an artist through and through and he loves the outdoors,” Hugh says of Oscar. “And my daughter wants to be a rock star,” he adds. “She loves to dance, she’s very physical and very, very social.”  Aww!

We love this family — they look like so much fun!

Ava Jackman and her brother Oscar were both adopted into the Jackman family. For fun she enjoys walking her dog Mochi and riding her scooter around with her father, the handsome Hugh Jackman, in New York City.

“My daughter says she wants to be a rock star and I can see her doing that. She’s only four but when she was three, I would go through the radio stations and you hit heavy metal and she’s like, ‘YEA!’ She’ll be a mosh-pit girl.” Hugh says about his daughter’s future.

Buddies Ava and August got to hang out with the Jackman family pooch, Dali, and Mariska’s new daughter, Amaya!

Mariska Hargitay, 47, met up with her friend Hugh Jackman, 42, in New York City Sunday, April 10, to introduce the famous dad to her new baby, Amaya Josephine, who she adopted from Texas last week. Not to forget that Ava, 5, and Mariska‘s son August,4 ½, are best buds too!

Hugh has two adopted children himself, Ava and her big brother Oscar, 11, so the celebrity friends definitely have something exciting to bond over!

While Mariska and her husband Peter Hermann chatted away with Hugh’s wife Deborra-Lee Furness, Hugh took Ava and August for a walk with the family pup, Dali!

It looks like both broods had a wonderful Sunday together in NYC. We hope they enjoyed the weekend weather!

Wow! Hugh hefted a boulder-sized snowball in NYC yesterday—but guess who he threw it at? Ouch!

Could you imagine being chased by Wolverine, a.k.a. Hugh Jackman, carrying this massive snowball? His kids Ava, 5, and Oscar, 10, sure can!  No worries though, daddy Hugh, 42, would never really throw it at his kids—just at the paparazzi!

School was canceled in NYC yesterday due to the blizzard, so bundled-up Ava and Oscar had a grand old time playing in the snow, first with their nanny, then with Hugh, who joined them after he worked out. While most people were dreading going out in the 19 inches of white stuff, Hugh and his family, minus wife Deborra-Lee Furness, made the most of the snow day! And it looks like their pup Mochi joined in on the fun!

She may only be 5-years-old, but Ava Jackman knows how to take care of a pet! The adorable daughter of Hugh Jackman went for a jog with her canine pal, Mochi, while out in New York City on Tuesday (Jan. 4). Ava, her mom, Deborra Lee Furness, her dad and a friend all stopped in a Pet Central store in Downtown, Manhattan to pick up some things for Mochi.

Hugh enjoyed a family day in the snow — Mochi was there too!

The family even made sure their pup had on a jacket to shield him from the chilly winter weather. What great dog owners! We give Ava a lot of credit– she’s still smiling, even when it’s her time to cover doggie duty!

Now that Hugh Jackman and his family have returned from their holiday trip Down Under, they decided to take advantage of the winter weather and spend their Sunday (Jan. 2) out in the snow! Hugh, 42, and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness enjoyed a snow day with their kids Oscar, 11, and Ava, 5, as well as the newest member of their brood, puppy Mochi!

Although they had a great time hanging out in the mounds of snow, it sounds like Oscar and Ava wouldn’t mind leaving the Big Apple to move to Australia — permanently! “Do you know what my kids want for Christmas?” Deborra told the Herald Sun. “To convince Mum and Dad to live in Melbourne!”

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber spent their holiday in Sydney with their boys!

While Hugh and Deborra were seen checking out houses for sale in Melbourne, it looks like NYC remains home for now.

Look out, Hugh Jackman! If your kids have their way, you might end up relocating from New York to Australia. The hunky actor, and star of the upcoming Wolverine movie, took his family on a vacation to his home country, and the kids are loving it so much, they want to move there!

Dad Hugh, 42, took his kids Oscar, 11, and Ava, 5, to the beach just outside of Melbourne, where they had a picnic, played in the sand and he taught them to skip stones. This, after the trio had hit a hardware store earlier in the day to stock up on supplies.

Considering how cold it is in most of the US right now, we think hanging out on the beach Down Under with Hugh Jackman looks pretty good!

Who knew a wolverine could get along so well with a French bulldog? Hugh Jackman, 42, added little Mochi to the family last week, after he and his son Oscar, 10, paid a visit to the New York City pet shop, Le Petit Puppy, in Greenwich Village. As this picture shows, Hugh’s daughter Ava, 5, is pretty obviously in love with her new charge!

Over the weekend, Hugh and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, and kids were spotted at a Manhattan playground with rock legend Elvis Costello. Based on the busy life Hugh and his kids lead (playing soccer in the park, riding their scooters around NYC…) we know little Mochi will never be short of playmates!
