The teen donned the ‘Gem City’ print bow dress from the celebrated collection, and we can’t think of anyone better to debut the piece! The dress features a flouncy skirt and a feminine floral pattern in glowing neutral tones. The strapless top is accented by a big, statement bow that is absolutely too cute to pass up, especially on the mere teen!

Debby chose to pair the dress with an orange Nancy Gonzalez clutch and white Chanel sandals to complete her spring savvy look. The mixture of her perky red hair and the playful dress really work so well on the star.

Celebrity Stylist & Matrix Artistic Director Ammon Carver is sharing his top hair tips with HollywoodLifers so you can look your best this summer!

Red Hair For Your Skin Tone — How To Pick The Right Shade

Before you go for the big dye job, think about how many shades are available:

“I go by a basic rule of thumb with red selection: if you have olive undertones in your skin, a cool red shade is going to look the best. If your skin has a pink undertone, then stick with warm, coppery reds. Either way, cool or warm, the reds should look natural and rich — never ‘punk,’” Ammon says.

DIY: How To Dye Your Hair Red At Home

For an intense red at home that won’t break the bank, we love L’Oréal Paris Féria Power Reds collection. For a warm red, use shade R68. For a cooler red, try R37.

Since home and salon color does eventually fade, Ammon offers tips on how to protect your color.

“Use cool water when washing your hair, skip days between washes and always, always, always use a color safe shampoo and conditioning system. This is most important with reds, as the key to rocking the shade is keeping it vibrant.”

We usually wash our hair every other day and use Drybar Detox Dry Shampooon off-days to soak up excess oil at the roots.

Taking Care Of Your Hair After Any Color Treatment

“If your hair is dark, chances are you’ll need to lighten your hair before you color it, which can be a bit more damaging on your hair. Minimize the stress by using moisturizing, repairing and hydrating products. If your hair is light, you’ll likely need what is called a filler, a preliminary deposit of color on your hair that will enable it to hold the final red tone. By filling AND coloring your hair in one day, you are committing to keeping you hair red (or at least a darker shade) for a while, making regular touch-ups important, too,” Ammon says.

It’s important to use a color-protecting spray like MATRIX Total Results Color Care Miracle Treat 12 Lotion Spray to detangle, hydrate, condition and de-frizz hair before blow drying.

Debby Ryan looked lovely on the carpet for the Kate Young for Target launch on April 9. Makeup artist Laura Dee Shelley and hairstylist Brian Magallones spoke to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY about their vision in creating Debby’s amazing beauty look!

Debby Ryan At Target Party — Her Sun-Kissed Makeup

“As soon as I saw Debby’s dress, I was inspired by artist Monet‘s lily pad paintings. I wanted her to look youthful and fresh,” Laura Dee tells HollywoodLife.com.

“I wanted to capture the watercolor effect. I knew with her gorgeous eyes I wanted to make them a key look. I used a blue/green liquid liner (BY TERRY Ligne Blackstar Liquid Eyeliner) to help bring out the color in the dress and balanced it out with black mascara on the top lashes. I used a soft blue mascara (BY TERRY’s TERRYBLY Mascara in Terrybleu) on bottom lashes to keep it soft.

To keep within my palette I used a soft coral for her lips (BY TERRY’s Rouge Terrybly Shimmer: Age-Defense Lipstick – 801: So Flamenco) with a sparkle gloss on top to capture the look of glistening water.

To give her a glow, I used NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna. Debby gave me free reign for her makeup so I took the dress as my inspiration.

Top tip: Do your mascara first. One coat of black on top, then blue on the bottom. Clean up after and then start your makeup. No mess or mascara ruining your face makeup!

Top tip: Clean teeth before lipstick application — brush lips for 30 seconds to help plump and smooth them.”

Debby Ryan’s Ravishing Red Hair — Get Her Look

“For Debby’s hair for this event, I really wanted it to be youthful, fresh and modern,” Brian tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

“I started by giving her a good blowout. I applied dollop of Phytodefrissant [straightening balm] to her wet hair and used a large round brush to get it nice and smooth. Next, I took two inch sections and curled just the ends with a 1 and a 1/2 inch curling iron to give her hair texture and movement. I used Aveda Brilliant Finishing Gloss on the ends to make it a little piecey, and Aveda Control Force Hairspray to hold the look. Lastly, I finished the look off with a light mist of Aveda Brilliant Spray On Shine, and she was ready for the red carpet!”

Nintendo hosted the Disney “How You Will Play Next” Wii U Showdown at Westfield Culver City Mall in Los Angeles. There were two separate groups of talent that participated and we kicked off each group with a few rounds of gameplay! Check out what happened!

The first group consisted of talent from the hit Disney Channel shows, Kickin It and Jessie – Debby Ryan, Leo Howard, Skai Jackson and Mateo Arias and the second group consisted of Peyton List, Olivia Holt, Cameron Boyce and Karan Brar.

The crowds went wild for both groups and all of the talent were excited to meet with their fans and have some fun challenging each other on the new Wii U. Following the gameplay, all the celebs sat down and did an autograph signing and posed for photos with fans.

Debby Ryan is perhaps best known for playing Jessie in the monster hit Disney Channel comedy series, Jessie, or as Bailey Pickett on the long-running Disney Channel series, The Suite Life on Deck. But things have changed with her turn as Tara Adams in Radio Rebel, a shy homebody high school junior who reinvents herself as the most popular radio DJ in town.

Unfortunately for her character, that is right when all the problems begin. Her popularity results in a handful of twists and turns when her secret alter ego threatens the status of her prom, her friendships and her chance with the love of her life, Gavin, who is played by Adam DiMarco.

“Radio Rebel to me is kind of this voice of empowerment; she is kind of the person within you that is usually overpowered by insecurity, by uncertainty or by trends and fads and wanting to be accepted,” Debby told HollywoodLife.com during an exclusive interview.

“It really just says that what’s within you and what’s kind of different and unique about you is really rad, really cool and that is what makes you so awesome and so beautiful!”

Debby also chatted about her future with her music, her acting and her inspirations — and what she would do if she ever hosted Saturday Night Live. Check out the interview, you won’t disappointed!
