De’Andre Johnson (born 1996) is known as an ex-college football player. De’Andre attended Jackson First Coast. As a high school football star, De’Andre was given a three star ranking by 247Sports.com. He committed to attending Florida State University early on, and he became a priority for the school when he led First Coast to a state championship game as a Freshman. He was named Mr. Football in 2014, and as a High School athlete, he ended with a record of 46-5 as a starter. He was picked to replace outgoing Jameis Winston in the spring of 2015. Playing in a scrimmage for FSU, De’Andre threw a pair of touchdown passes, earning praise for his performance. De’Andre’s college career was cut short, as a 2015 confrontation with a woman in a bar resulted in De’Andre being dismissed from the football team.

On June 24, 2015, De’Andre was involved in a confrontation with a woman in the Tallahasse bar, Yiannis. After De’Andre shoved into the woman, she turned around and the two had words. She threw a punch, missing De’Andre, who returned first with a brutal hit that reportedly gave her a black eye. A warrant was issued for his arrest and De’Andre turned himself in to the authorities on June 30. He is charged with misdemeanor battery. Surveillance footage of the incident was leaked to the public, causing FSU to kick De’Andre off the team.
