In the season two finale of Downton Abbey, the Earl of Grantham (Hugh Bonneville) reveals to his daughter Lady Mary Crawley (Michelle Dockery) that he knows she slept with the Turkish ambassador way back in season one, and he doesn’t care if the revelation ruins the family. He suggests to Mary that she go visit her grandmother in America to find herself a cowboy from the “middle west” to “shake things up” at Downton while the scandal dies down. Although it’s unclear if Mary will actually go to America now that she’s engaged to Matthew Crawley (Dan Stevens) (yes, they are related — but distantly), one actor hopes she does. David Boreanaz tweeted after watching the show that he wants to throw his hat in the ring for the part.

“I’d like to be that American cowboy who shakes things up at Downton Abbey. I’m open for a visit Mr Fellowes,” David wrote to the series’ writer and creator Julian Fellowes.

You know David as the brooding but hunky vampire with a soul from Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel — or the brooding but hunky former sniper-turned-FBI agent on Bones. But his performances in each reflect a wondrous subtlety that would fit perfectly in the Downton world. Just like Michelle — whose eyes alone can make you cry — David has the ability to bring an incredible nuance to the English drama that’s more two-dimensional than any cowboy has the right to be. Don’t believe me? Just watch as David’s Booth discovers his now-deceased abusive father’s box of mementos and try not to tear up.

And although I absolutely adore Matthew and Mary together, you know that their path to the altar won’t be easy. (It’s taken 8 years, three proposals, one dead fiancee, one dead Turkish hottie and one scorned newspaper man before things were settled.) So why not throw in a little romantic rivalry for the dashing Matthew?

So please, the powers that be, put David on this show. I’m begging you.

There’s her boyfriend, Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) and his smoldering brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder.) She seems to be on Team Stefan for now, but we’ll see how long that lasts.
5. Before becoming a vampire herself during the second season premiere of The Vampire Diaries, Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola) was compelled by Damon and the two had quite the romp.
6. Vicki Donovan’s (Kayla Ewell) fling with Mystic Falls’ most smoldering vampire, Damon, was far less enjoyable than Caroline’s. She drank his blood, became a vampire and ended up getting staked. Ouch.
7. Last, but certainly not least is Buffy Summers (Sarah Michelle Gellar), arguably the pioneer of human-vampire love on television. During the seven-season run of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she had torrid love affairs with two vampires: Angel (David Boreanaz), the one with a soul, and the constantly side-changing Spike (James Marsters.)

DB – Yeah, it’s a journey, you got to look at it, where the two characters are, how they identify with each other. how they help each other out, they have always been there for each other and they take chances and trust one another, they need to find some space sometimes, as they did going into season six. And I think the unique thing about it is they’ll be able to connect on a whole different level and a deeper level, even though they maybe somebody involved, they’ll just get closer, they always get there. It’s a hard question to answer. People say, will they or won’t they? I don’t know?

HH – I think what people really want to know is when? And we’re not saying!
ED - I think we should do a thing were we see from the audience how many people want to see Booth and Bones together, and then will ask who doesn’t want them together.

Rachel Uchitel, the mistress who Tiger Woods paid a reported 10 million dollars to conceal news of their affair, has found a new way to make some extra cash – by posing for Playboy! TMZ reports that the 35-year-old former nightlife hostess, who previously turned down the mag, will be shooting a spread in three weeks and “won’t be baring it all — just the backside … and the topside.” How much is she actually leaving to the imagination?

This news comes just one week after text messages between Rachel and actor David Boreanaz, another married celebrity, were released. In the messages Rachel grows increasingly impatient with David for his unwillingness to leave his wife of nine years Jaime Bergman. Unlike Tiger, David publicly admitted his infidelities instead of agreeing to an extortion payment with an “unknown” mistress.

There is still no word on how much Rachel is getting paid or when the magazine will be releasing the spread.

David and wife Jaime are really trying to make their marriage work after he got caught cheating — but as we told you before, that’s going to be an almost impossible task!

We’ve heard this (Tiger) tale before! David Boreanaz and his wife of eight years, Jaime Bergman, say they are going to weather this infidelity storm and stay together — and Jaime’s mom is confident they’re going to stick to their word in spite of David’s alleged affair with Rachel Uchitel.

“My daughter’s very strong,” Sue Scallion told E! News May 4. “Jaime told me one day, ‘Divorce just isn’t an option.’ She can get the big picture. They are going to make this work and keep the family together and raise the children. They’re a great family.”

According to Sue, Jaime and David, 40, want to make their relationship work for the sake of their two young children — 8-year-old son Jaden and 8-month-old daughter, Bardot.

“Jaime can see what would happen to the children and the family if they let something like this get a hold of them. They’re not going to give in to it,” she said, explaining David and Jaime are currently attending therapy and are moving house in the hopes of keeping their marriage intact.

As far as Rachel Uchitel — or any other mistress that may come out of the woodwork — is concerned, Sue says her family is ready to fight…and anyone who comes between her daughter and David better watch out!

“These women are making a living off the misery of these families,” she said. “They’re like serial killers, killing families. It’s not just the spouse that gets involved with another person, the impact goes through the whole family and there’s just devastation. For them to have no recourse but to pay these large sums of money just because they have it is ridiculous.”
